Please consider a video on cervical retrolisthesis. I have found very little information on this problem, and I was hopeful you would offer some help and advice for this problem. Although your video on lumbar retrolisthesis is great, I can't figure out how to apply it to cervical retrolisthesis. Any help for those of us suffering from this problem would be very appreciated. You guys are my go-to source for all things related to physical therapy. Thanks so much for your dedication to educating your fans.

I have suffered with this condition for a long time and developed my own set of exercises and stretches that helped me. It sounds counter intuitive but a foam roller under the affected area of the spine for 3 minutes twice a day, ending with 50 sit-ups with bent knee helped me the most. It took a long time, I had to work up gradually but eventually it led to total pain relief. Don’t give up, if an old guy like me at age 77 can do it, I know it’s possible.

Thank you so much for this video! Since I was told I had this, about three years ago, I've had no treatment at all because it was a trauma specialist who told me about it. He's a very well respected surgeon and physician and despite naming him to the physio, he knew him, he still didn't proceed to refer me for further treatment. I appreciate you guys so much for doing this. You're the best out there hands down xx

Figure since I’m watching the 10th video of today I had to subscribe😂 I appreciate that 2 older guys with issues themselves are giving the instructions. I need to get some imaging done, but I’m fairly certain this is what I have. When I’ve been able to stretch and get a successful release, there has been a audible thump on the floor when my disk/vertebrae would go back into place, and, of course, subsequent relief. Thankyou guys

I've been dealing with lower back pain for years. A few days ago I had an xray that showed that I have "trace retrolisthesis of L1 on L2, L2 on L3, L3 on L4, L4 on L5 and L5 on S1 secondary to disc height loss." So I definitely need to get started on these exercises and techniques to try and make sure it doesn't get any worse.

One week later I got up to urinate and reached down to pick up toilet lid and instant pain. 911 called 5 hours later I could not move. Retrolisthesis of L4-L5 minor. Bob & Brad, I was diagnosed this week with mild degenerative disc disease at the L5-S1 level with approximately 2 millimeters of retrolisthesis of L5 on S1. My doctor said my case is mild however, the pain in my lumbar is very present regardless. The pain comes and goes frequently. I would say monthly. I really notice it if I stand or sit too long on any given day. When this happens I cannot bend. It's a real inconvenience as just about everything I do impacts that area. I'm just now learning about my treatment options and what I can do to prevent getting to the level where I would need surgery. Thank you for your video, this is a great starting point on the road to recovery ✌💚

@nicoledupont6439 I went to physical therapy for about 4 months. Afterward I continued to do the exercises they taught me everyday. I also did the exercises Bob and Brad recommended. My retrolisthesis went from 6 millimeters off to 2 millimeters within 1 year. Staying active helps. Stretches that elongate your spine is very important. Simply hanging from a bar works wonders. Yoga can be helpful as well.

I know this is probably a long shot but I'm going to go ahead and ask this question. I was recently diagnosed with this in my low back. It makes sense in so many ways because when I flex my lumbar it feels a lot better. (Along with the X-ray and the physical therapist agreeing with the diagnosis. We don't know what level it is yet because there hasn't been an MRI)
I fell l about 6 weeks ago, maybe that's what put my low back over the edge.
I can't seem to sit still or find a position of comfort. My back doesn't hurt very much at all but when I lay down that's when all my trouble starts. I have a TENS unit I have medication I do the exercises I have a heating pad I'm doing physical therapy and this is horrific! I've never been in so much pain! I'm 60 and the first time I hurt my back I was 18 and I've had nothing but physical jobs until I was about 55. Now I am paying the price for sure!
    Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm going to see the Ortho surgeon in August, but until then I really need to know which parts of my yoga practice I should avoid and what exercises I can do to strengthen. It doesn't matter what I do I'm going to be in pain, and I can't lie around all the time. It's an awful catch 22.

it seems like Bob and Brad don't pay attention to the comments anymore :( Sad bc I have this trouble in my neck and don't know if I should be worried or not. It's a weird pop that started happening after a sparring partner pulled down on my neck and I resisted in the wrong way and I was unable to look to the sides for a day. Almost a year has passed and whenever I look down and rotate my head from right to left there's a pop each time. Not always painful but very annoying to say the least. I don't wanna waste money as times are tough but I also don't wanna continue pushing myself if there's a risk for injury. Would really appreciate your thoughts guys....
