That whole album has such an energy to it I still get goosebumps everytime I hear it, kinda reminds of the feel I get from early 90's pantera not so much musically but it has a dark intense heaviness to it but also a real organic positive energy, just pure magic.
You can't beat the classics! There's just something about Strung Out's first few albums. That make them my all time favorites. Deville (That solo!), Bring Out Your Dead, Mind Of My Own, Too Close To See, etc., etc. All so incredible!

I picked up the twisted by design transcription on the Strung Out site a few months back. After learning this it's pretty cool to see you play and be able to visualize the tabs in my head. 👌👍
I’ve always wondered ever since the album came out how your tone had such a huge vocal growl. Live (90s) I’d see you using Dual Rects and 5150s. I also got into ESP because of that. That sound has always stayed with me to this day. On another note: I’ve always wondered how to play Better Days from STWB properly. Maybe you can play that?

@@thedavegoodman thanks man, yea it was a peavy 5150 bi amped with a Marshall valve state. One of our best guitar tones I’d say!
