Idk why people hate so much on warm audio clones! They're gear is pretty darn good, and this Mic sounds really good in its on right, forget the sony comparison
@Jds Bleedo Ok i feel ya! So my point is, if its doesnt work for you, then just dont by it! Why take the energy to post negative comments about something that doesn't pertain to you! That was a general statement, not directed at you! And stM messed up the first go around too, didnt even have the heat sink on it, they just added it, and only have like 2 available! Heritage Audio would be the route if i went that route, speaking of which how are u liking the tubeessor?
@Jds Bleedo awready, I concur! Great insight my brother! Let me know how the GA combination sounds when u get them up and running! I'm in the process of buying a house and moving back to Texas so my tubeessor is just sitting in the box! 😔
@Jdsbleedo The STAM SA-800G and the WA-8000 share a lot of the identical parts on the inside and sound as far away from a REAL C800G equally. Either way, both mics are very usable sound wise. And actually the WA-8000 is the most genius Sony C800G clone to ever hit the market, we’ll let Bryce explain why if he chooses, the biggest disappointment is the GA-8000 because you spend 4K and it don’t hit that C800G sound, that hollow middle, still needs upgrades has the wrong tube, shrill main capacitor, it ain’t it no 🧢
@Jdsbleedo Ouch 😓 that’s not a good experience at all, so that’s understandable. We bought the Slate VMS the day it came out, it arrived dead on arrival, opened up the power supply and found 3 weak solder points, fixed it and kept it moving. Making stuff overseas has it’s drawbacks with quality control. Slate still makes really good stuff otherwise, but the sound from that VMS mic is not acceptable even with it working. TOTALLY agree with you ✅
Sounds pretty good. Yeah I have a CM800T from Advanced Audio and it sounds incredible. I run it through a Heritage 1073 followed by a Bluey 1176 into a Burl AD
Incredible video thank you again for this test. Whit complet objectivity ,which do you think is better/closer to the c800: the Lewitt 940 or the WA8000?
Love the video format! Also it sounds great! If someone was on a budget and wanted an earnest attempt at a certain sound for their dollar without caring about names or total exactness, this one seems a good option!
You don't need to Turn up the top end for this microphone. cut it down. Because this microphone has high top-end already D-esser or Tape plugins do the job for you
Ok, 3 minutes into your review and your comedy. Theatrics are annoying, wasting my time…Iam out…there are other mic reviews on this product all over UA-cam I can check out..

Hi man any CM800T examples.
Incredible video thank you again for this test. Whit complet objectivity ,which do you think is better/closer to the c800: the Lewitt 940 or the WA8000?
The WA8000 is closer imo, but their both beastly . Better is purely subjective
Love the video format!
Also it sounds great! If someone was on a budget and wanted an earnest attempt at a certain sound for their dollar without caring about names or total exactness, this one seems a good option!
That song was fire. This mic is gold!
🙏🏿🙏🏿thank you! It’s the one of the best we’ve tried for both of our voices
The only thing that matters is the tracks it can put down and imho the vox you featured here sound fantastic, studio quality without question.
If there's no eq and compression on this vocal take, then the mic is outstanding!
Dope review bro
What do you think is the better option between the WA 8000 vs the universal audio sphere that mimics the Sony C800? Thanks.
The UA Sphere kinda sucks honestly
Nothing should feel cheap on that mic for $1,200. That's AKG 414 range... I have this and I like it just lacks a little bit of depth. GET IT MODDED!
Agree, but it’s also a replica of a $10,000 mic. A replica of of a $10,000 diamond tennis chain will have the same difference in quality ✅
😮💯
Which interface are you using? Going into a pre?

Throw it on your hip!!! 😂 Dope Bro👊🏾
🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿💪🏾thank you
I love this "Corny" song! Great video, I'm getting this mic!
What pre amp are you using ?
Which ?
Everything going into a Symphony Deksktop clean , no preamp emulation
great video thank you
Glad it was helpful!🙏🏿🙏🏿
113 dynamic range isn’t bad?
Would pic over lauten audio clarion ? Etc
Still choosing the Lauten Audio Atlantis over this one, Im sure LA Eden beats them all out.
It’s cute 🎉
🦾
Sensacional
🙏🏿🙏🏿
This mic sounds thin with no life and body.....
Bro could you please just get to the topic without all of the comedy intro setup..
It's harsh
🤷🏾♂️
No use yape on vocals to tame the top end.or 8k cut Down boom
