This is one of the best stout styles ever! Luscious and delectable.
I definitely enjoy me a good oatmeal stout. Cheers!
When you said "like all good beer I'll be starting out with that Crystal malt", somewhere in Washington, Peter from Genus started crying
I thought he loved Crystal Malt... Wait, that might have been meth. Cheers!
@@PartyTimeBrewing Stouts are crisp and refreshing. Brehon Brewhouse do a lovely 5 percent abv oatmeal stout. Roasted hazelnut and creamy chocolate with slight smooth creamy coffee.
@@oscarosullivan4513 That sounds pretty great right now!
@@PartyTimeBrewing It is a treat to have as cask beer is rare in Ireland
i can’t believe you chug your beautiful homebrew!
It is a crime and I have no good excuse. Sorry and cheers!
Oh that shirt was hilarious 🤣 great video, cheers 🍻
Cheers! Brewing is hard on clothing. Just glad I didn't wear sweat pants.
OK, just found yer channel. I love your channel! I have been all graining for 20+ yrs. Looking forward to binge watching your vids in order to catch up a little. Much love from Southern Alberta. Cheer
Glad to hear it! I was in Medicine Hat for a few weeks last year. Great beer down there! Cheers!
@@PartyTimeBrewing Medicine hat brewing has it going on they do a few beers I absolutely love anyway I’m in the middle of bingeing your videos, totally love your channel I’ve been brewing since I was 25 I’m 57 now and I am still going at it lol
Awesome video! I drink stouts/porter all year.
Thanks! I need to brew some more. Might try a chocolate porter soon! Cheers!
Really enjoy your videos. Makes my day
Here with a recommendation from homebrew 4 life and I'm glad I came and had a look!
Thanks for stopping by! Cheers Noel!
No worries Chris mate!
AWESOME!
Probably should have had a Vodicka design on my shirt, but wouldn't want to waste it... Cheers!
Love the vid. Merch being ordered tonight
Awesome! Really appreciate it and glad you enjoyed!
im a homebrewer too, but i dont have any of the fancy setup that you got. i love your style lets sub and watch everything you ever done!
Thanks for checking out the videos! Cheers!
never brewed one and maybe it's time. Cheers 😀 👍 🍻
You should! Definitely a good beer to have around. Cheers!
Hey this was fun! Glad I found your channel
Thanks for checking it out! I just brewed another batch of the stout on Saturday! Cheers!
I just stumbled across this video. It's absolutely hilarious and the same time, informative. Most home brewers are so serious, this video is so refreshing to watch! I clicked liked and subscribed; what happened to the shirt, duct tape lasts forever though…😅 I'm gonna give the Stout a go.
Thanks for checking it out. I believe the shirt has long since passed and I don't remember where I buried it. I've brewed this one a bunch of times since and even use pretty much the same recipe for the one I sell now (without the added coffee). Cheers!
Your videos are so boring but freaking hilarious. I love it
Dry as F##K! Cheers!
great video sir......thank you...stay safe
Thanks Theron! Cheers!
Love it man 🤘🏻
Just brewed a toasted coconut Porter 😊
I've been meaning to brew with coconut. Hopefully soon. That beer should be delicious!
@@PartyTimeBrewing it came out phenomenal! Just had a tasting with friends last night. Used about 2lb of coconut on a 5gal batch .
oatmeal and coffee flavoured stouts are great, as they also count as a breakfast beer..... or is that just me?
Congrats again on the channel growth.
Perfect for any morning before work! Cheers
Looks amazing!
I'm pretty happy with it! I don't buy a lot of commercial examples, but this one tastes great! The 6.2% is a nice kick if you're only having one!
Nice brew! Your vid’s are sick…great work
Thanks Ken! This one turned out pretty great! Thanks for checking out the videos! Cheers!
Fun!
Always!
I am one of those people that find certain kinds of stout refreshing. I have a Rye Dry Irish recipe I always brew in the summer that is a slammer when you get tired of pilsners and lawnmower wheat beers.
I've been enjoying them in the heat! It's a bit on the dry side so it goes down nice and easy! Cheers!
belgian white with corriander seed is hard to beat for the heat, i start any summer with a sacrificial 25 gallons
Stout is live! Cheers 🍺🍺🍺
It sure is! Cheers!
Glad to see you survived the knife fight during brewday
It gets a little heated here sometimes, but I came out victorious! Cheers!
Try adding chocolate (900) and roasted (1200-1400) malts separately at 161 temperature pauses.
Mashing time 15-20 minutes. This will give a bright shade of taste without excessive bitterness.
You need to get about 5.5-5.6 pH before fermentation.
At the end of boiling. Stop heating 10-15 minutes before the end of cooking. Take 5 grams of soda to begin with, quench it with boiling water in a glass, and slowly pour it into the wort. Be careful, this reaction is very violent, do not rush. Stir well and check the pH.
I think you can do it with 10 grams of soda. This will give a wonderful body and bright malt in the sip. After the pH reaches 5.5, turn on the heat and continue boiling. There will be a laundry smell for ~10 minutes, this is normal, it will dissipate very soon.
Later you will figure out the volume of soda for your brewery and can adjust the water profile.
As a result, we will get a very clean, very readable, bright game of malt in the beer (if we don’t crush everything with hops)
Is AI taking over?
Hahahah that shirt 😂😂
Piece of garbage shirt. I might return it. Cheers!
cool intro
Hilarious!! I felt like this was turning into beer p0rn. Absolutely love watching you have fun entertaining your viewers...Cheers...Chris
It started to get a little hot for this 'Tube, so I had to back off. Cheers!
Are those oats grocery store oats, like to eat??
Yep, the standard costco or grocery store oats. Just make sure you get the quick oats so that they have already gone through starch gelatinization and will be good to add to the mash without doing any extra work. Cheers!
@@PartyTimeBrewing THANX MAN!!! your reply was my qeue to go! Brew day today!

@@b01tact10n Thanks! Pretty much all beer on the channel, but I was thinking of cooking up some mac & cheese in the wort sometime!
This is an oatmeal stout WITHOUT added oats?
There's some quick oats in there! Cheers!
thanks for the duct tape, stout looked good.
No problem! The stout is great!

Sadly, it was a one off and the wife saw it the next morning and promptly discarded it. Cheers!
