Wow! That was a beautiful place. Great fall color.
It really is! This is actually the place (public land called wildlife management areas here in Virginia) where I did my first solo wilderness camp ever last year. It happens to be within an hour drive from my home so I have been coming back occasionally to explore different areas and this was a great spot to find. I actually just went back again this past weekend to a different spot along the river on the opposite side of the area and should have another video up this week. It actually had a tiny little beach area. Thanks for stopping by, Joe!

Haha, yeah I always make sure I got a couple pieces of thick sticks on each side propping it up. I'm glad you are enjoying the adventures! ❤

Where can I find the tarp?
Hi Dale. Thanks for the comment! The hammock is actually just a $20 harbor freight hammock. The tarp is a "GeCamp" tarp from amazon, 10x15. I believe it is around $35-40, but I grabbed it for $28 during a sale. I actually ordered a new hammock from onewind that I received this weekend and will be planning a first look video in the near future as I hope to switch over to it if I like it enough.
