The Citroen DS had full turning and self levelling headlights in 1967. Up to 75 degree swivel for the inner light and 30 degrees for the outer. In 1970 the SM had 6 self levelling lights with the two inner high beams swivelling with the steering. The steering was power self centring and 2 turns lock to lock. Amazing difference on winding roads. Incredible on hairpin bends or turning into your driveway. The brake on both the DS and SM was a high pressure mushroom rubber button instead of a pedal. Only the crazy French would attempt this. So wonderful.

A Mercedes technician himself told me that these steering adaptive headlights are simply a cool toy to show off, because the corners at speed more than 30 pass off within fraction of second, so before the turn is illuminated you have already entered or even crossed it and for slow speeds practically every car has cornering lamps. Pretty cool marketing trick though

I have a Mercedes E class, the first time I used my brights they kept turning off and on on its own, i was so confused. Then after a couple more times I realized that it detects a car approaching before I can even see the car and turns off the brights till they pass then it turns back on to protect the other drivers from being blinded. I was so shocked because it even took a while from the car to even come to my sight.
Legit my friend lives dont the block from me and it’s one long straight road and ik when my parents are picking me up bc as soon as they start the car I see the head lights

Mercedes owners don't use turn signals. Just make the Mercedes badge on the front 4 feet in diameter, make headlights ultra brighter, make the rear of all models look the same, and change the horn sound to something really fancy. LEDs should show the car's mileage, so people can see that your Mercedes is not used.
I want to ask something, My friend. Something on my mind! In the headlights of the Mercedes W211,W220 or C-class they separated the low and high beam. But as such, when the low beam moves up, it has to move up along with the high beam. Otherwise the high beam will be below the low beam. Does this happen individually electronically? So, there is an engine in the high beam as well! Please can you answer? Thanks
My 2006 Doge Dakota has lights that stay on for a little bit after you turn the car off.
