That video isn't showing Ptera burrowing, it's just being buggy and Hypno was making a joke about it trying to burrow its way through a tree because it kept crashing into it.

Dondi has said before that cannibals/mutants/tribals are the same thing. The devs did say in chat that austro will be Omni but in “sport mode” but more fragile.
Hope Quetzalcoatlus dosint suffer the same fate as Pterodon. They made Pterodon a glorified spectacular mode. Hope Quetzalcoatlus will be a true terror 0f the sky when it is implemented.
Nah in my opinion its bad on land we already have rex and acro spino should more like a big bary not a jw knock off the design is just so bad they should have taken the real thing and tweaked it to seem more land based and not make that jw monstrosity

The spino is believed to be able to hunt both on land and water. And the design isn't even that far from what we currently see spino. Also there was study showing that dinosaurs were actually bigger than what we originally thought. Until they decided finally on what the spino should look like i think its best you stop complaining Or just play A dinosaur game that has the version of spino you enjoy instead of telling people why the creature they like is bad.

I’m a huge Spino fan myself, and I’m rlly glad it seems like they’re sticking with the current model instead of remodeling it for no rzn like they were supposedly going to. Idc about accuracy in this game, I just want cool stuff, and we don’t even have an accurate image of Spinosaurus anyways so 🤷♀️

It would be kind of cool to see gen 1 humans having two movement modes. Quadrupedal for speed and bipedal for efficient stam use and precision I think they plan to have a few mutant humans and they dont all need this, but it would be cool on the long armed on we saw today
my dream for next year: -rex & trike "apex" update (expands on the "apex" niche, perhaps making them even more challenging to grow to manufacture scarcity?) -spino & bary "semi-aquatics" update (expands on the playable experience of all semi-aquatics, and introduces a new fishing mechanic?) -maia & allo "Brawler" update (expands on grapple, introduces the "squish" mechanic for parasaurs and sauropods?) -austro & quetz "skies and swamps" update (a rework of the flight system so it works with quetz, thermals will be released with this update too; and introduces austro's flightless crane/egret/stork niche?) what we will *probably* get next year: -ai psittacosaurus
Ai Ptera is a really cool idea to help players find each other outside of hotspots and Im curious to see its implementation and to see if it makes the lag worse

gotta love seeing all these familiar faces finally making their return. if only they could've left troodon, beipi, dryo, hypsi and the other useless creatures for later we could potentially have some of these legends by now. i do like that these dinos I mentioned are in the game, I just don't like that they got worked on and released before the likes of allo, rex, trike, spino, maia, para, giga............. and countless others. they're just not all that important because not many people play them. and i sincerely think people would transition from legacy to evrima a lot happier if their favourite dinos from legacy were in it. i've made the transition, but only because the community servers on legacy either had stupid rules or no rules at all, including allowing and even promoting mixpacking (looking at you asura). otherwise I would've waited for allo to be released.
i hope some dinos are released in december like last year when dilo and herrera were released, that would be sick. The dinos im most excited for are rex, trike, allo and bary
The freaky humans have potential, although will definitely need a more group-friendly co-op healer type build of them if they are also intended to be playable; and hopefully a different name than 'Tribals'. Is there lore for them? If so, maybe something more along the vibes of a failed experiment rather than 'hybrids'? I saw some human gameplay recently, it looked very silly LOL

6:05 Pretty sure it’s the sparring stance. Diablo does the same thing, if you look in one direction and press cntrl it will automatically turn around and get stanced up.
The ai animals and plants in my opinion need to appear around the map more ... Ive been plaing the game after like 1 year , for a month or 2 but so far i only see sea turtles around west beach and ive not seen any chicken or boar, crabs dont appear anywhere except either bubbles, and frogs rarely are swimming in the water they just jump around on land or are borrowed The only ais that appears frequently are goats and deers The plants also ... like i ran all over the swamp as a stego and i wasnt able to fill my dots diet , i found like 7 or 8 but the highest i could get was 80% i think , i also have not seen a single mango, brazilnut or coconut while playing the animals that actually need them to grow ...
so the next horde test looks to be very close so maybe this next month? also rex looks very close to being added to horde test and what about the other dinos?

Top 5 Dinos i wanna see in evrima. 5. Spinosaurus. Legacy has it so why not evrima? 4. T-rex. Bruh it’s not a dino game without rex. 3. Baryonix. A Semi aquatic predator that acctually fares good on land. 2. Allosaurus. A medium sized predator slightly bigger than carnotosaurus. 1. Quetzalcoatlus. A strong flier that can fight giants like t rex.

Can someone please explain something to me. What is the tertiary skin for tenontosaurus? Is it just a future combo you can make or is it like a separate skin you’ll be able to use?
I am concerned that ranged weapons might make it hard for other dinos to cope. If we have a big group of humanoids using bows at range, dinos may not stand a chance. How can even something like a stego cope with a bunch of ranked humanoids? Ranged weapons with any major power makes it really hard for dinos to cope. Granted, you could go for something thats not as strong as I am imagining. And I guess any arrows would probably be only sharpened sticks, which likely would not be accurate at any high range. Slings may be an option, or atlatls. Actually, Atlatls could be amazing. They were the ranged weapon premier before bows.

I personally think adding rex and trike right now is a bad idea. Apexes tend to be the death of many niche playables and with the current roster its going to create a issue with no one being able to kill rex because I know isle is gonna make trike suck against rex as they love rex to much for it to lose to anything
Nah I doubt it They strayed vastly from legacy and made the herbivores stronger than the carnivores when at equal size Take teno vs carno for example Plus there’s concept art showing trike comfortably 1v1ing rex I don’t see how apexes are the death of niche playables

@kmp3-gaming986 the death of niche is because anytime rex is introduced to a dino survival game people gravitate to rex plus rex becomes pretty unkillable. Also because the roster is very small on average rexes either need to hope trikes and stegos are everywhere or kill everything on sight to live. So either a Ton of herbs or cannibalism
@@Underscore_The the roaster is not very small We have like 20 playables as of currently With Rex and trike coming out along with soon after of before maia and allo around 24 Consider the fact that it only takes like a Diablo to fill a deino up and now u have a playable that can pretty easily survive as long as it get either get 2 small mid tiers worth of food or any 2-3 ton animal that will be in the game or Diablo or another apex to eat Surviving as that without starving sounds pretty easy to me cuz of how much total food is available as long as your good at the game The devs have stated apex’s are gonna be more powerful than their legacy counterparts but also harder to grow meaning there’s a very high skill floor involved with growing a apex If your bad at the game quite simply u won’t survive past sub or even adolescence more often than not There won’t just be rexes everywhere There’s gonna be many rexes and trikes in the early stages of growth killing each other cuz Rexes will without a doubt be a canni species and trikes can’t exist in herds like every other herb which as a result evens out the population

Personally I don't see why we need cannibals mercenaries and tribals, the tribals are going to get destroyed by dinos or mercs, and the cannibals will either group with mercs or just die from guns or stronger dinos. I think the isle should just go for dinosaurs and mercenaries, simple but fun for both sides, guns are realistically the only way you can take out a large dinosaur and it's kinda hard to survive as a human without one, especially when there's 30ft long reptiles all around you

The game isn't a pvp simulator, it's survival, and sometimes the fun part is being weaker than most things and just playing the hide and run part of the game. Buildings all over the place, tribals were in legacy (for the very short time yes) and a cannibal would be able to hunt small tiers, no one is expecting it to face tank a Rex or Allo lol. And adding it to the game to make it interesting isn't a bad thing now is it? And without really knowing what abilities they will have to defend themselves with or attack with neither of us can say if they will be very weak and pointless or actually fun right 🙂

Can't believe 2024 is almost over, so many good games this year, and even better games next year.
The ai animals and plants in my opinion need to appear around the map more ...
Ive been plaing the game after like 1 year , for a month or 2 but so far i only see sea turtles around west beach and ive not seen any chicken or boar, crabs dont appear anywhere except either bubbles, and frogs rarely are swimming in the water they just jump around on land or are borrowed
The only ais that appears frequently are goats and deers
The plants also ... like i ran all over the swamp as a stego and i wasnt able to fill my dots diet , i found like 7 or 8 but the highest i could get was 80% i think , i also have not seen a single mango, brazilnut or coconut while playing the animals that actually need them to grow ...

@@sam-l5s I would say the next hord test will have Rex in it. If it's an open hord test or private is another question. And I would say this year but not next month just to be on the safe side

4. T-rex. Bruh it’s not a dino game without rex.
3. Baryonix. A Semi aquatic predator that acctually fares good on land.
2. Allosaurus. A medium sized predator slightly bigger than carnotosaurus.
1. Quetzalcoatlus. A strong flier that can fight giants like t rex.

Can someone please explain something to me. What is the tertiary skin for tenontosaurus? Is it just a future combo you can make or is it like a separate skin you’ll be able to use?

I am concerned that ranged weapons might make it hard for other dinos to cope. If we have a big group of humanoids using bows at range, dinos may not stand a chance. How can even something like a stego cope with a bunch of ranked humanoids? Ranged weapons with any major power makes it really hard for dinos to cope. Granted, you could go for something thats not as strong as I am imagining. And I guess any arrows would probably be only sharpened sticks, which likely would not be accurate at any high range. Slings may be an option, or atlatls. Actually, Atlatls could be amazing. They were the ranged weapon premier before bows.
We shall see how it all turns out. Hopefully it will be balanced as much as it can be. Bows are cool but I also hope they aren't op

I personally think adding rex and trike right now is a bad idea. Apexes tend to be the death of many niche playables and with the current roster its going to create a issue with no one being able to kill rex because I know isle is gonna make trike suck against rex as they love rex to much for it to lose to anything
They won’t be in officials and the real servers are going to mitigate their use in some way so…it’s not going to be awful. Just weirdly timed

@kmp3-gaming986 the death of niche is because anytime rex is introduced to a dino survival game people gravitate to rex plus rex becomes pretty unkillable. Also because the roster is very small on average rexes either need to hope trikes and stegos are everywhere or kill everything on sight to live. So either a Ton of herbs or cannibalism

With Rex and trike coming out along with soon after of before maia and allo around 24
Consider the fact that it only takes like a Diablo to fill a deino up and now u have a playable that can pretty easily survive as long as it get either get 2 small mid tiers worth of food or any 2-3 ton animal that will be in the game or Diablo or another apex to eat
Surviving as that without starving sounds pretty easy to me cuz of how much total food is available as long as your good at the game
The devs have stated apex’s are gonna be more powerful than their legacy counterparts but also harder to grow meaning there’s a very high skill floor involved with growing a apex
If your bad at the game quite simply u won’t survive past sub or even adolescence more often than not
There won’t just be rexes everywhere
There’s gonna be many rexes and trikes in the early stages of growth killing each other cuz Rexes will without a doubt be a canni species and trikes can’t exist in herds like every other herb
which as a result evens out the population
Really hope Rex releases soon

Yeah it looks a little too monstrous even more than jp with the crooked sail and white eyes and bulk I do like some jp elements in the isle though bc it’s supposed to be jp but they should make the spino slimmer give it pupils and smoothen the sail also I then that’s good maybe for like the hypno they can use this design also they should make the nose crest a little bigger also I hope the spino isn’t as strong as the Rex I have a bad feeling they’re gonna make it like that maybe it can be stronger in the water but not on land
If they made it paleo accurate it won't be able to compete with the other apexes, and people would complain
And if they made it still be able to fight apexes, after that it'll look way to goofy

I dig the cannibal design but it seems out of place in The Isle. I think you need either dinos + normal humans/mercs, OR dinos + cannibals/tribal.

Personally I don't see why we need cannibals mercenaries and tribals, the tribals are going to get destroyed by dinos or mercs, and the cannibals will either group with mercs or just die from guns or stronger dinos. I think the isle should just go for dinosaurs and mercenaries, simple but fun for both sides, guns are realistically the only way you can take out a large dinosaur and it's kinda hard to survive as a human without one, especially when there's 30ft long reptiles all around you

The game isn't a pvp simulator, it's survival, and sometimes the fun part is being weaker than most things and just playing the hide and run part of the game. Because with that logic why is Dryo in the game?
@@ucjgaming because dryo will get burrowing and has a dodge, the cannibals and tribals have no point of being in the game, it's just roster bloat, they are just adding shit to make it interesting even if it sucks, next thing you know they are gonna add robots and tanks and then do collabs with marvel and it's gonna just be fortnite or ark. If they just had humans, and dinosaurs then there's 2 sides, survival as a dinosaur where you hunt to survive and raise young and humans which are set to some objective and they must survive the dinosaurs, but with cannibals it's just weird? Like isn't this game about dinosaurs?

Buildings all over the place, tribals were in legacy (for the very short time yes) and a cannibal would be able to hunt small tiers, no one is expecting it to face tank a Rex or Allo lol. And adding it to the game to make it interesting isn't a bad thing now is it? And without really knowing what abilities they will have to defend themselves with or attack with neither of us can say if they will be very weak and pointless or actually fun right 🙂
