I ordered one today in the Olympic White. I’ve never owned a Jazzmaster or a 12 string, so I’m looking forward to getting it. Squier has come a long way. I have the Classic Vibe Mustang and Jaguar. Offset guitars are new to me, but so far I’ve found them to be comfortable and easy to play. Thanks for sharing the specs and demoing it. Glad to hear you got your jack issue fixed!
Tony Bacon wrote a book on Squier and talks about the different countries and factories over the years that made Squier guitars. Good for figuring out which models were Japanese made vs. Indian made vs. Korean, Indonesian, Chinese. The Fiesta Red was a limited Fender online only run, unfortunately I think it is sold out. But I love that blue. Thanks for your review, I really want one of these!
There were definitely some Squiers made in Japan. I’ve got an Olympic white Squier Strat that was made in Japan, I also used to own a butterscotch tele that was made in Japan. They were made in Korea after that.
The biggest problem I have with inexpensive guitars is that I end up having to justify the quality every time I turn around. I absolutely hate that. The thing about Electric 12 Strings is there isn't much choice in the middle. You either buy a Sub $1000 guitar or a $6K+ guitar.
Great review here! You really present all the info concisely and your personality is really personable. I saw you did an uodate video so I'm excited to see what you think now. I never really considered an electric 12 string until lately and it was between this, a Gretsch, and I want to look at Eastwood and Italia too. I know next to nothing about the last two brands Thanks again and great video!
Thank you for sharing I like these squire classic vibes they're excellent for the value if you transport these back in time to the early '60s or late '50s the musicians wouldn't blink an eye have no problem with these instruments
Cool review man. I have Pre-ordered this one in the UK expect to get this some time in Dec23 I have been told. I really wanted to buy the Fender Mexico alternate reality ones that came out in 2019 but missed buying one. This looks better made though.

The Korean Squiers were fabulous.
Sounds good. I need to try one for sure. Thanks for the comment.
I have a few Japanese Squiers....they're better than the Fenders lol 😅
sounds like you're out of tune.
I did tune it up before making the video, but it's possible it went out of tune during the video.
