Soriz's parry is his trait and it lessens the damage of the incoming attacks, it doesn't protect him totally, but it also gives him a defense boost, so even with low HP he takes much less damage. Also can be a counter, if you're near enough.
I haven't had this freezing issue at all actually. I think the only issue i encountered was i was deranked when my opponent rage quit. Im glad you are playing this game because the OG version was fun but online just killed it on release.
For thise just picking this game up and unaware of it, when you go to training pick your char and upon entering training press start button and choose top option amd then press L1 theres a small combo section thay yeaches you close, long and anti air combos teachss the harder ones and the ones to lead into you sky bound arts.
Lotus my man you gotta stop only using EX heavy versions of your special moves. Light and Medium specials are viable too and wont always put your moves on cooldown. Just some unsolicited advice. Still quality vid tho. Keep it up.
As a fellow parry character Belial I have a bad habit of also using my parry in bad situations giving the opponent free damage. I love how you just do commentary on your own gameplay as I sit there and do the same. So far I've really loved Belial and Avatar Belial movesets. We're all learning and I look forward to more of your content.
I am currently in the process of choosing a main via getting every character in the game to progression level fifty, but I've found Zeta, Vira, and Yuel to be the most fun for myself. Edit: I have found Charlotta to be very fun as well, followed by Anila, Djeeta, and Katalina since I made this comment.
I haven’t got any freezes with the game, I did once was I wasn’t able to find a match for a while, kept saying the match was cancel, I got it fix by restart the game and only happen once so far
i think it freezes but the timer still counts down? it happened to me and i just closed the game... but then it wouldnt let me back in so i just stopped trying to close it and one time i tabbed out & came back still in the lobby and could keep playing
I had this problem a couple of days ago. I had thought it was a connection issue, because as soon as I got into another match, my ping was hitting the 600s for no reason at all. And it was noticeable during matches. Like 19 frames FighterZ bad. Tried resetting my router and it didn't fix it at all. But the next day, I could play like normal. So I have no idea what the issue is.
only time mine has ever frozen after a match is for like 10 seconds and it's because the other person quit out of the game before the exit screen pops up, i'm on pc though.
I never had this issue but I had a similar game freeze happen when i tried to join a cabinet in the battle hub, game freeze for like a minute straight and can't do anything. Fixed when I reset though so I wonder what it is?
Question about getting into this game , would the manual input be better than using the simple input I’ve been looking around and I’ve seen some even say that the simple input does more dmg than the manual idk if it’s true
Simple inputs are just faster and easier but manual has lower cool downs. Most people I know have gone with manual including myself, but that's because we all prefer the usual fighting game inputs.
Only difference with inputs now is manual just does more damage if you do it raw and not in a combo so it pretty much comes down to what makes you feel more comfortable to use
@@SlamTheSouji this isn't true. You are talking about last game. CD is the same for simple. This time Manual gives 10% more damage but only raw and in links ... not in combos.
Manual has quicker recovery and the quick button specials actually lose 10% damage which in gbvsr is not really too much with other mechanics like the moves that take diamonds from you causing you to take more damage and landing a sba or an ssba will take either 1 or 2 from your opponemt depending which you use.
Gran will always be available to play with 3 rotating characters. The music is top tier, and the characters are interesting. If you’ve ever heard someone say don’t jump in Street Fighter, well double down here. Imagine Dhalsim with his floaty jump but without his teleport or meditate. Anti air is practically free outside of setup or catching someone’s moves. No left right mix with block button. Your specials have a cooldown, but it’s generally very minimal unless you use a heavy version which is shown by the gold aura. These versions usually give you the opportunity to wall bounce in corner, or characters that have a parry can cover both low and high, etc. Ultimate skills are a new addition that allow you to use a special even if it’s on CD with new properties if you’re willing to spend 50 meter of your super gauge. Raging strike can be used to extend combos using up bravery points (start with 3 stocks), break the opponents guard while also acting as an alpha counter. Close range normals start the 3 hit auto combo. Otherwise your mostly linking a far normal into a special or a couple far lights into special with no meter. It’s not diverse in frame data as something loke Street Fighter. Anyways, I think the game is still worth playing. But don’t take my word for it. Try it for free!
Eustace: has a literal rifle
Lotus: "Wdym he's a zoner??"
Lol that "what in the hitman reborn" caught me off guard
this is a great vid. i love the mentality and how you explain your thoughts during gameplay so eloquently

Your fireball can lead to a full combo when you teleport with it as seox
Ngl, you know how to title your videos. Baited me into watching. Disclaimer: I was gonna watch anyway but it was sooner than I expected lmao

Picked Vira as my main today Lotus, she is SICK

Do u know if this version is cheaper if u already have the prior?
@@PencylI don't think it's cheaper. U just keep your everything you had on the previous
@@Pencyl nope, 50$ USD either way minimum
@@Pencylno but there is a free version with rotating characters
Ya tbh i only use them in combos or for the sky art to finalize the kill

I haven't had the freezing issues on PC, it could be a crossplay/console thing.
Maybe it has to do something with the ps4 version? Ps5 version here and this is the first I heard of the freezing

bro said he learned "SEE OX" whoever that is
That’s actually really cool that Seox’s mask takes battle damage

16:41 if this happens you just wait it out. Its happened to me a few time too.
Maybe it's a bug in the end when it freezes, I'm not sure ??
🔥
This is dope!
I lost like 3 games in a row yesterday so Arc Sys needs to patch that out, how dare they

I play on pc and I don't have the freezing problem but I have seen the katalina bug but it still levels the character you are playing
I do the perry by accident all the time

so this game is f2p right? and how fun is it compared to strive and sf?
