Absolutely second this! I was detecting a family property last weekend with my 5 year old niece, and she had a blast. Can’t wait for her to grow up a bit and get her a detector.
Jason - THIS is what makes your channel enjoyable to watch: no in-video product promotions, contest giveaways, etc. Just focusing on the finds with a bit of historical knowledge thrown in along with them. And it's been awhile since you've had some of the property owners' kids join you as well. Hope to see more of that as you have a great knack for relating to them with a nice, welcoming tone. If you're not already a grade school teacher, you may want to consider becoming one. 😉 BTW - that 1969 Hot Wheels redline car was fantastic. I'd guess even in that condition, it's still probably worth $20-$30. Take care and looking forward to seeing your next hunt video.
Very nice Hunt everyone. Doug Congrats on the Tootsie Toy Cars and Mercury Dime. Charlie the Knee Buckle and Button very cool. Love all the finds everyone found. Really cool Spoon Handle and Red Line Car also Take Care everyone.
Proper metal detectorist are not just hunters, they are ambassadors for our hobby also. The Quarter Hoarder crew are the real deal. A pleasure to watch, listen, learn from and subscribe to. All the best from me in UK.

Hey guys. I enjoyed this hunt, Rich finding the pewter spoon bowl, and the other permission some silver, hot wheels. Never a dull moment when you all find cool stuff.
Jack Brabham would be sad you never heard of him. Three-time World Champion Formula 1 driver and also ran 4 times at Indy. We old F-1 fans remember him well. That knee buckle was my favorite find!
People obviously beat you guys to house #1, but you scored a nice one after all. Really cool of you all to show and explain the finds to the kids and even the parents.
I remember those old toy cars. At my Grandparents house they had a attic where us kids could play. They had cars of this vintage. We were always a little conceited, since we had the real Match box cars. I still have a early Jaguar XKE from Lesley.
I wonder if those kids from the 1930's-1960's were playing in the yard and their mother of father tells them to come in and they lose them and always have to go back to the toy store to get more toy cars and toy trucks.
@@dogtagdoug6751 Doug,i watched you dig up some nice finds. Keep it up Brother. I am 66 and have 4 crushed Lumbar disc. I used to find some nice stuff. God bless you Dogtag Doug

I love my metal detecting and will help anybody out with identifying items or any metal detecting related questions but I draw the line at being told I don't know what I am talking about when related to the lay of the land and the best spots to detect in England. 😬. This post is nothing to do with the Quarter Hoarder group but is aimed directly at that aquachiger. ( unsubbed about a year or so ago ) I have been detecting the fields of England for 40+ years and have found a lot of very nice coins and artefacts so I know exactly what I am talking about when relating to Englands ploughed fields and this is for you aquachigger NO we do not seek out ANY IRON patches in the fields in thinking that their might be more items to be found we infact avoid iron patches because they mask a lot of finds. 😦. You are the only detecting channel aquachigger who got my goat you live in america where yes iron patches will lead you to old homesteads and more finds but we in England have history going back 4000 years spread the length and breadth of our country with items lost literally everywhere so the iron patch thing DOES NOT come into our thinking. 🤔. Unfortunately Jason I will not be watching the live with him in it because I hate arrogance and he come across just like that thinking he knows everything about detecting but he got how we detect in the UK completely wrong. 😠. HH to the Quarter Hoarder group from across the pond. 🙂.
I really like how you guys are taking the time to involve the kids and explain to them what the finds are

I was about to reply and I saw your first name, and I thought. Man I already posted and don't remember it...

I didn't know about the redline hot wheels. You can never know it all. There's an endless amount of items to learn about in the ground. 😏

With his shirt tucked in, Charlie looks like Fabio from the right angle.
I think he’d look more like Fabio with a burlap sack over his head

CHIGGGGGGG!!!!! My husband and I have been dreamcasting this for years - it's better than DC v. Marvel!
Cant wait for the show
I found that same midge toy car earlier this year at a school near my house.
I wonder if those kids from the 1930's-1960's were playing in the yard and their mother of father tells them to come in and they lose them and always have to go back to the toy store to get more toy cars and toy trucks.
Hey Joe!!
Hello Quarter Hoarder,Dog Tag Dog ,Charlie Rich and Lynn and Joe
Hey Gregory!
Junk is all I find on most homesteads unless they are in town. Most farmers did not have any money to lose.
I had a old toy car I checked out the wheels see if it was the old one like you found or someone found lots of nice things
I saw Aqua chigger find a bunch of Old half dollars and some 8 Reales in a creek.
One of my favorite AquaChigger videos
