    Really cool pipes. 👍

    I like the titanium look.
But, without wrapping it, that's gonna suck to ride.
I've got Twisted Choppers Hookah pipes on mine.
Maybe it's just the way I fit on the bike, but, I couldn't imagine them without wraps.

It’s honestly not too bad. I put plenty of miles on it with these same style pipes. The exhaust on my Yamaha is worse!

@@SignMeUpDesigns glad it works for you!
I've got a 36" inseam, and forward controls, and the heat was just in the wrong spot.
But, in making an '86 Sportster actually fit to my frame, that was the easy fix, 😆.
Had a noticeable loss of low end torque wit the short pipes.
Torque cones straightened that right out for me.

@@Mr.Schitzengigglez I’ve noticed the same torque loss with these short pipes. Thanks for watching!

I dig it a lot. Tell me about the ride. How does it feel? At 65-70 on the highway? On twisties? Around town?

Great question here’s a lengthy response but should detail everything.
I took the air ride off and went back to coils. The ride quality was ok but the air ride was problematic with leaky paddle switches and battery drain. Since switching to coils the ride is fun and maintenance free. The suspension feels like a factory sporty.
I haven’t taken it on any super twisty roads. I can still flick it around turns pretty easily and I credit that mostly to the tires I opted for. The shinkos carry a nice curve unlike a vee rubber tire that’s more flat. I used the Shinko tires intentionally.
Around town is great with this bike. With the taller tires comes taller gearing. I can cruise 45-50 in second gear and rarely find myself shifting while cruising through town. Side note, I did have to run a speedo healer to match the gauge to the actual gps speed since the tire/wheel change.
75 is the top range for comfortable riding on this setup. I cruise low rpm’s in 4th gear. 5th gear essentially bogs and isn’t necessary until near triple digits. I rarely stay highway speeds for extended periods of time.
One last note, you’d think with the taller gearing/tires it would be a slug on a pull from stop. It’s quite the opposite. If I lay into it, it pulls hard and I can ride first gear well past 45. It’s fast. And other Harley’s I’ve raced (in Mexico of course) are close to 3rd gear before I have to shift to 2nd. This bike will run with 103’s, 110’s and 114’s. It’s fast, light and nimble and the most fun bike I own to ride. The attention it gets is pretty neat as well.

Have you thought about selling the 26” swing arms fab’d up with forks as a kit??? I’ve been looking at options for making 26” board track racer but I am not a fabricator just a rider and basic mechanic.

I actually have. I’ve thought about selling stretched arms as a purchase + core return, as well as selling a cut and weld on application as a cheaper option. Ideally, a bolt on option would suit most casual diy riders best but I haven’t really found a solution that would look good for that option. As far as the forks, Vulcan already offers the bolt on triples and rake so they’ve already got that covered.

it‘s an interestin project, … but, for me, the bike needs to be lowered and the front rake accordingly adjusted …

Thanks for your take. I realize it’s not for everyone and that’s ok. I built it for me. For what it’s worth, the bike physically can’t sit any lower than it does now. The triple trees bottom out on the dust caps and the rear fender sits on the tire. Yes, I could have cut the neck and raked it more but that didn’t fit the board tracker look I was after. Thanks for watching!
