Fucking don't really understand the reason of so many dislikes! Lee is a legend and he's down to earth as well. I'm a huge Cathedral fan as well and as a fan I always respect the decision of the artists to go to whichever direction they want. Cathedral concluded their career with a strong record and With the Dead is going strong as well. Don't get these so called dumb fans.
I respect Lee and to me Cathedral is one of the best rock bands ever, than I found out about With the Dead , I was so happy to hear a new stuff from Lee but to my surprise I was very disappointed with what I had listened to , I think it's very weak and mediocre music , I could listen their albums only because Im a huge fan of Lee.
Long Live Cathedral! i first heard them with the song "Enter the Worms" and i was HOOKED Ever since. shortly after i heard that track, i bought a rare TOY'S Factory Japanese import of "The Ethereal Mirror" from 1993 with two Extra tracks: A funeral request (Rebirthed) And Skylifter (From the Grim Luxuria Single.) i went looking thru all of their other albums, and discovered Statik Majik, And i bought a Japanese import version of the album on CD From 1999 that had all 8 tracks from the two EPs they released in 1992 and 1994. Both were i think $60 - $65.
I doubt Bill would want to, not to mention that he's touring heavily and writing stuff with Carcass. And Mick doesn't even play drums anymore. I would be interested to hear Lee doing gowls again.
Wtf l got here because l remembered a picture of this guy on a 97-01 magazine and wanted to know what he is about. Great questions, nice clear answers, got me interested so why the hate?
