Us North Americans, for the most part, don't care about 'music' and the artistry just what sells, image nothing more. I really appreciate more from Europe because they still have an appreciation for music artistry.
@Scott Berg Maybe that's the reason why Frank Zappa's last performance was live on German national TV LIVE ( Yellow Shark).

@Scott Berg Nah to be fair the reason why they never had a big breaktrought in the U.S. was because of the first singers(Tarja) manager. He didn't want his wife to play on smal stages, so they kept on canceling shows and even whole tours in the U.S. resulting in that they never really had a breaktrought. They managed to get some recognition with Anette thou, however it was still hard to get bigger venues due to broken trust between the band and producers. Now with the internet etc. It's way easier to breaktrought so their popularity is really exploding now.
I have loved Nightwish for many years. I was on the fence about buying tickets, because I had no time and money for it. After watching your review, I got online, bought tickets and took my daughter (who also loves them). Best decision I’ve ever made. Thanks to you guys.

Nightwish - Song of Myself (Wacken 2013) is a killer. Out of Wacken concert check out The Poet and the Pendulum at Wembley.. You will love the both of them.
I told you that you were falling in love with this band after going tp the concert. Guys, react to Ghost River Live at Wacken 2013, you will listen to Floor doing some Growls and using her raspy voice then changing to a soft voice singing like an angel, this woman is just amazing, and of course Marcos voice that is just amazing as well.
Esther Madrid My 6 year old daughter used this song in a school presentation and the other kids were scared lol. We love this song!

I ADOOOORE THIS SONG! Great to see you loving Nightwish soo much, my whole family enjojs in their songs.
I knew the band, but after Wacken 2013 I can barely hear any other music with these great feelings. In Wacken 2013 they have probably presented one of the best perfect live concerts of all time, at least for this kind of music. It was the first big concert for Floor and it's hard to imagine how hard she trained for this performance. The second biggest challenge was in Finland (tampere), and the Finnish fans accepted them as uncompromisingly as nightwish new voice of nightwish. Furthermore, for me it becomes clearer and clearer what Marco, with his incredible voice and live perormance with Floor, is able to do unique. He is absolutely necessary to create this kind of performance. I am always happy to see exactly how you analyze the video and, above all, bring in emotions, because that makes it really perfect for a fan. I've been following you guys since your first Nightwish reaction. You chose the best song but seemed underwhelmed because it caught you off guard. The journey from then to now and seeing you guys being assimilated into the Nightwisher/Ocean Soul club is just so rewarding. I have been a diehard fan ever since I first discovered a video tracked with "End Of All Hope" in 2007 right before Dark Passion Play came out. Welcome to the family! Looking forward to more videos! PS. I think its great that you share this father/son bond for music. You guys are great to watch -- thanks for sharing! :)

I saw them in Paris in 2012, it was so great to see their full stage show.
Great reaction guys. They really are a great LIVE band and you are so right they do GROW on you. The more you listen the more you really appreciate their gifts. Sadly, as of now you are right they will be playing in smaller venues in North America, however, the band loves the smaller and more intimate settings as they are closer to the audience. I am hopeful that reaction videos like yours will expose them to more people and grow their fan base to compete at least with South America. I miss the opportunity to see them, Sabaton and Delain in one show. Sabaton and Nightwish !!! God what an idiot I am I so regret that decision and "want my dumb decision BACK"!!!
I rediscovered Nightwish about 6 mouths ago and Symphonic Metal has exploded in my playlist. I’ve also expanded to Folk Metal to.
Nightwish is ridiculously likeable. They have a magic that no other band I like have and I adore a few. If I could listen to only one band I would pick Nightwish in a heartbeat. The versitility in their music without ever losing the epicness is unmatched. If you want calm, wild, light, heavy, slow, fast, repetitive, dynamic, emotional... Alwyas with feel, always with a story and always the feeling of satisfaction. Nightwish baby!
They have it all. And you can listen to it how many times you like and find new elements in the music. I think I´ll be going to their concert in Gothenburg in november which would be my first with them. It´s in a small arena with great view all around so the sound experience and overall experience should be massive.
Me too, At work, I listen to their full concerts at least 2 times a day.
Em êxtase absoluto após este reaction video!!! You are quickly becoming the kind of fan I have been for almost 20 years now! As a teenager I discovered heavy metal and thought “wow! This is the click that fits my being and then, within H.M. music comes Nightwish and my world became a rollercoaster of emotions intertwined!! And the past 3 years, after a gap while Annette was in the band, my consumption of their music is on a daily basis, hardly listen to anything else, with exceptions of course!!! Saw them live with the 3 different vocalists, and just waiting for Wembley again to, as you say, go absolutely wild again! And through them now I have found another click that is fitting as well as heavy metal did! Discovering Richard Dawkings and Darwin and the theory of evolution, just opening my mind and absorbing the proofs that confirm my disbelief in religion! It is like Nightwish is the center of discovery and possibilities! But even if it is just for the music itself, becoming a fan of what they create and a witness of their evolution, is being a part of something beautiful ! Congratulations to both of you for being touched by them!

Loved Nightwish for years ever since hearing "Wish I had a Angel" on a horror movie called 'Alone in the Dark". I went to their last concert in Australia 2016 and sang along to every song and surprised I didnt lose my voice the next morning

I have loved watching your progression from GSL to this song and the rest. I love how big your smile is. That's what Nightwish does. It's about story telling and bringing people together.
For those for you interested, their is a new band named Auri that just came out with their first album. It is a trio consisting of Tuomas Holopainen, Troy Donockley and Johanna Kurkela.
Here is an exerpt from Wikipedia... Holopainen described Auri's style as "rabbit hole music and celestial metal" with "influences from folk music, Celtic music, [and] soundtracks".

I was pretty surprised at the lukewarm review of your first Nightwish reaction video to "Ghost Love Score", as that was the song that got me first hooked on to the band. However, I appreciated your integrity of giving an honest music review, instead of being just another channel that says they love everything in order to appease viewers. I appreciate you even much more now that you have the integrity to look back and say, "Well, maybe I was a bit hasty in my initial review."

I have a similar story. Had known of them but just didn´t connect. Found the Wacken concert on youtube 3 years ago and was FLOORed !!! Have gone through all of the back catalogue and can´t for the life of me understand why I didn´t love them immediately ! Just bought tickets for Wembley in December (which can´t come soon enough) and will be flying to the UK just to see them perform :D

We need to get you guys across the pond to a big Nightwish gig. I’ve seen them live 4 times, including the 2016 Wembley gig and a small venue and the difference is massive. No matter what though, they will put on the best show they can each time.

FYI in todays paper was news from Nightwish, their last concert on the Decade tour will be in Helsinki Hartwall Arena on december 15 th 2018 then the next time you see them on stage will be 2020, in 2019 we will probably have a new CD...so so happy you did that Nightwish concert ☺

Funny, I was at this concert and there is one thing you didn't pick up on, at around 7.05 into this video, Empuu knicked the wireless transmitter from the pouch at the back of her dress. That idea came from Troy and Empuu and he handed it to Marco. Then she got it back at around 7.22 and fiddled back in that pouch. That is why they were smiling during the latter part. Ah well, just a head's up to watch it, I saw that happen AT THE CONCERT and wasn't expecting it. Flabbergasted, you could call my emotion. 😎

Yeah! I was there at that night! It was one of the best live performances that I've ever watched (and this festival had a lot of awesome performances, for example by Rammstein and Alice Cooper!)! This song is also one of my favourites by that band (and Nightwish - though at this time with their first singer Tarja Turunen - were one of the bands that introduced me to Metal) and this is one of my favourite moments from that show. It's so awesome to see you guys react and live nearly the same feelings as me when I was there. You have to watch them live! They will blow you away!
At the Wacken 2016 I also watched Tarja Turunen live. She's also a great performer. Please try some of her solo work! :)

Nice intro.........lol Seeing your enthusiasim brings back all the emotions I had and still have since I discovered Nightwish. I do not think there is a more diehard fanbase than Nightwish's. A really good song is "Song of Myself". It is one of my favorites and i am sure you know it was played at Wacken. What you may not know is that is just the first half of the song. The second half is someone reciting the lyrics with a music background. The singer in that one is Anette Olson. It is really something to experience. Welcome to the Nightwish fandom...........;-)

Your reactions are really good can you please do Ghost love score live from Buenos Aires it is when Floor was with Nightwish for three months and created an absolute media fire storm around the band when they were on tour in South America.
Just couple days ago, they announce 2 big arena consert end of this year in Finland, after that they perform front of people its will be 2020 =D, cause new record......keybords Holopainen has sayed couple recent views that hes working new things, after creative break so... :D.......all though we dont now sure, maybe its some single shows here and there, not many but someones, just have to wait and see what kind of things happen in future

Master passion Greed from Dark Passion Play is the hardest song ever. Marco sing the song alone and Nightwish has never played this song live. You can check this out too.
I'd suggest doing either Ghost River, Storytime, or Last Ride of the Day from this show next. And if you do one that wasn't at the Wacken show, you need to do 7 Days to the Wolves

So, about reliving the show...I've downloaded just about every fan shot vid on youtube from this tour, and compiled the same set list they did in Baltimore when I saw them :). Can sympathize with the bad back thing...the meet and greet for the show I saw in 2015 damn near killed me, I think I was standing about 8 hours that day between the 3 bands and the meet & greet. WAY too old for that sh** now lol.
They just announced a couple of big venue (25,000 seat) shows in South America...I think one is in Brazil. Start saving lol!

Apart from that, if you ever get the chance, go see Ne Obliviscaris live. Saw them two days ago and they were absolutely awesome.
When you hear their recorded stuff you think to yourself "no way they can play this live as well". BS, they totally killed it. Even better than studio versions.

I have to say that you guys disappoint me a little after the first Nightwish reaction,, I just thought,,, hmmm if Pedro does like Wintersun then he’s gonna love Nightwish as well... but then you got kind of not with a good feeling after Ghost Love Score,,, but at the end I’m really satisfied that you guys love the band.

Actually i believe the drummer you saw in Toronto was Kai Hahto of Wintersun. Sadly Jukka had health issues, but he's not a bad replacement.
