I am in Al-Anon, and this presentation tells me that alcoholics have the same kind of emotions as a non-alcoholic. The fear is is a universal complaint, but when you sincerely practice the 12 Steps, fear gives way to faith. Our relationship with our Higher Power is the remedy for overcoming needless fears. Bob D is beautifully honest.

I’m very new in recovery. My sponsor told me to check out Bob D. I can’t stop listening to his recordings. The way he explains his process and the actions he made to change his thinking and IMPROVE his recovery even after being sober 10.5 years . He’s truly an inspiration to me .
Nice...I listen to Bob everyday. Check out Charlie & Katie Parker, Mark Houston, Chris Raymer, Scott Lee and Sandy Beach. All the best to you on your journey🙏
This is exactly what I needed to hear, the fear inventory I did not do it properly and after 4 years of sobriety My Ego has been growing. Jealousy is rearing it’s ugly head and controlling my every thought. Time for me to redo my step work. Put my life back into my higher powers hands and out of me trying to control everything
had the pleasure of meeting Bob this past year. he’s one of the best communicators we have. he’s got an aura about him when he walks into a room. he walks the walk, doesn’t just talk the talk.
"The times in my life that I looked the toughest, looked the angriest, and looked the hardest; was the times that I was probably the most afraid. And I didn't know it. I didn't know it."
BOB D! I learn, laugh, cry. I am sober. Listening to BOB D is a gift! Been listening for years. Hoped to have met him in August in Florida until convention cancelled but one day! Love you BOB D.
I am a Gamanon member in Japan, now at 8th step, cannot stop listening to his speech. Especially the story of trust burst me into tears. I have the exact feeling same as him, how can I let go of my life and let God come in.
Nothing better than Bob d talk on a Saturday night. I was a pleasure seeing him in Florida 2 months ago I was I would have found his message before he makes to steps so simple 🎉🎉 thanks Bob I’ll be a my sober cruise this year
He is a responsible member of AA He is still at it, He lives the AA program. Goes into the jails too and talks about our responsibility to the new comer as well and talks about the tradtions and concepts. I have met him several times and has dinner with him a few times as well. He is also my Grand-sponsor .
You and the others with you have been my hero’s for years. At 31, I’ve had, finally the freedom to know nothing is personal, but I made the same moves in AA....attachments vs relationships. We give up who we are to keep the relationships we need for our survival - mom and dad, booze, outside issues, AA, and finally we can be our authentic selves only in a HP
I have listened to this about 25 times, I was stuck on my fear inventory as well and this helped me do my inventory and I have seen in doing the nightly inventory regularly that fear and many things still crop up alot and feel very blessed to have a process to deal with these things that fly under the radar
Ty Bob for sharing your experience ,strength and hope ,you shared on Fear and you made me take a look at my Fears Wow I haven't even begun to start 🌌Lord Help Me
I love this, yet has anyone ever had the experience that time has stopped for you, but the rest of the world is still moving after doing this? I also experienced an extreme headache in my forehead afterwards as well. This was after I have done the meditation a few times.
I’m on the 4th step again and I never realized how self centered I’m selfish…… for sure that’s a big character defect I want work on and lots of fear … so please pray for me
Why haven't I been able to get continuous sobriety? I hear the same things everybody else does, I freely admit I am an alcoholic addict in no particular order sobriety sure beats the hell out of active addiction, blessings to all
i m in the programme for 2 years and i m working on the steps..i had major changes in all departments of my life..i m just struggling wid fear of talking to ppl..hopefully i will br able to put this right as well i had posted this ..sometime back.. these fears have become quite powerful.. hopefully they will be gone completely
Hey Glamery. I also struggle with this fear. I don’t think program is gonna remove this fear from me. It looks like I need professional help. If you wanna be in touch about how I’m dealing with it, please reach out

Ask at a mens meeting for a great sponsor and ask him where a men's recovery home is to help you stay on track and extra support.
Thank you so much, amazing talk. I’ve never had anyone speak my language of smoke and mirrors. We are so alike, this has made me better.
