2:26 ahhhh I can't stop grooving!!
I read this and literally laughed so hard omg. Thank you hahahahahaha
3:42 THE return is so simple but so perfect, just awesome!
The over-the-barline thing at 1:09 was epic
Yes... It's one of the best damn fills I've ever heard, so perfect.
That's Jazz!
StuartsGiant.com
@@lauren_e_s Unfriend them.
Chris Morrissey is a badass
he plays just like my favourite drummer: Barny Bürger! It's great to hear creative drummers, there's not many around.
The fill at 1:09 is legendary. PERFEEECT.
Mark was grooving so hard he looked like he was going to die
the ONLY Mark Guiliana.
Amazing stuff. Love Guiliana's Beat Music.
Crazy vibe, nice flow, amazing creativity 👍👍
When you feel the pure sound inside you..I love the mood's Guiliana
I love it, all of them.
Really good stuff right here!
Refreshing! I will listen to it this week, cause we gonna have a heat wave.
Greetings from Mauritius !!!

Yea man. Straight to the dome.
yeah Mark! sounds great.
Realy nice, thick, phat duby acustic sound! Sweeeet!!!
deary me, that was an awesome groove.
thankkkkkkkkk youuuuuuuuuuu!
That bass line is from "You're My Hero," another Guiliana Beat Music song written by Mark and Tim Levebfre, I believe. Wicked cool bass line.
Fantastic.
That was awesome
One of future drumming's developers,period.
Giants!
like it so much!!
Heavy groove, in a dub versión! Saludos desde Coyhaique!!!!
cool stuff - lke it!!
They've been playing with Donny McCaslin recently, there are some good videos of them playing together. I saw them once with Tim Lefebvre on bass and no Steve Wall. I still don't think there are any studio recordings of this group, but Mark Guiliana played on Janek Gwizdala's album "It Only Happens Once", which shares similar influences. You can get that album for free from Janek's Bandcamp.
Yes!!!!!!!!!
sure hope so
VERY COOL!
Freaking SICK
So damn good
Jason Lindner (keys), Chris Morrissey (Bass), Steve Wall (Effects) and Mark Guiliana (Drums)

I've been informed that I have a neck !
Mark Guiliana for president.

when will there be an album of this?!!?!?!
This is fucking awesome
classic drummer face at 1:52 :)
I am not hating on this AT ALL, its great, marks great, the musicians are great. OK, so would you guys like this a little more if it was like 10-20 bpm slower?
That spirit animal remark was about as ignorant as one could get. However, hearing that blended, skewed, and turned into that soundscape .. well.. it was tasteful as hell. Good job guys.
Yeah, so ignorant. That's not how real spirit animals work at all.
watching a christian scott video and saw on a comment someone suggested this guy......this shit is fuckin good!!!!!
💛💛💛💛🖤🖤🖤💛💛💛💛
will there be a dvd of this?
What about Benny Greb people! If you don't know about him check him out. Also check out the drummer for The Bad Plus. (Dave King)
3:40 priceless
Dubwise!
was that JP Bouvet at the start?
aha fair enough man :)
where is that spirit animal sample from ?
OUUUUAH
I was in the left corner for this show- that's how it be. samples may have been cleaned up at mixdown- some bad Dub- fresher than anything out there....:)
DUB !!!!!!!
Does anyone know what software he's using for the vocal loops? Abilton live? Stage 2? Something else?
looks like ableton
The baddest shit ever
Id really like to know what are the pedals the bassist is using to make this fantastic sound at 3:32 and on. I know theres a octaver without the dry sound, but then what? what synthesizer? maybe a fuzz? someone please help?
Its just a octaver i think. The sound you appear to be hearing is coming from the synth-guy
Super Sound - breiter Klangteppich, ordentlicher Groove, aber wehe da fällt mal der Strom aus.
Just fucking good
Mark is a much more interesting player in my opinion, far more musical and creative. Not knocking Jojo at all, if i could play half as well as he does I'd be very happy, but everything Mark does amazes me.
Dude is gross on the kit, love his pocket and their groove
yeah man, he does some incredible stuff i just prefer the way guiliana plays
what pedals are in use?
+Liam Trawick
Fulltone OCD, MXR Phase 90, and Dunlop Way Huge Aqua Puss.
protect your neck
I got the explanation good then then this shit started
do not diss spirit animals !
2:58 groovin' HARDDDDDDDDDDDDD, woooooooooooooo, shit dude
Does anyone know which x-hat he is using? Is it just a custom stack or is it a specific hi-hat? :-)
I think it's a radia nano hat designed by Terry Bozzio, made by Sabian. They come in 7" and 9" I believe. I've got a 16" Radia crash, Really cool sounding cymbals.
Mark Guiliana's Beard Music
How the hell did they get that bass tone
LentilsOverkill maybe boss OC2
+Sotiris Zampelis That would make sense, considering he's playing up at the 12 fret, and you usually have to do that with octavers for good tracking...
looks like i have something new for my wishlist
+LentilsOverkill you better start looking early because you can only get a used one. Everyonce in a while a cheap one appears but most of the time people over charge it. It is the only pedal i take with me on jam sessions.
+LentilsOverkill i can send you a couple of tracks of mine to see how it sounds on a lower budget
+Sotiris Zampelis
I see used ones for like 60 and 70 bucks...not too bad. I'm also getting into pedal building and designing...so I could save some money and build one my self and get some learning out of the whole deal. It's a pretty popular octave circuit from what I've heard.
Read a comment that HAD to have made already see you soon : )
0:00 Describes easy beat. 0:50 Plays impossible beat.
his face at 1:52
chris looks so young without the beard lol
Mark Guiliana dosent know how to miss a beat
You're kidding right?
you are incorrect
Next Jojo Mayer?
Do you know old Jojo though? His new stuff isn't all that because he doesn't practice. Watch his performances from his DVD. The most musical solos I've ever heard.
Better what? Musician, DJ, songwriter, drummer, composer performer? Give me a break
mark makes jojo look dull
this is awesome!..incredible playing.
not as technical but check us out
'Nasty' by The DeLorean
Look, man, I am not defending skrillex as I am not particularly fond of him since he used false advertisement to push his music and because his sound is incredibly obnoxious. BUT to say that a computer cant be looked at as an instrument is beyond ridiculous. Next thing you will tell me that electronic music is not actually music. I am glad you enjoy your music as much as you do and take pride in it, but taking pride in something does not mean you have to spout ignorant stuff like this.
Skrillex is better? °_0 it's easy doing that kind of music with a computer, just click with your magical mouse and that's all ! You don't even need to be a musician or have any skills, just need a good software and a good souncard and off you go.
These guys are ass kicking musicians (especially Mark), Skrillex should have kept on doing emo core (even if it's barby doll metal), but i guess clicking was just much easier than singing...
You can say you prefer Skrillex, but what a shame to say he's better... in my opinion you dont even know what you're talking about
too bad the bass player won't face the crowd, seems kinda wanky. awesome music though
lol adam , i saw the video and I had an opposite opinion , I think that some people are more "sterile" without crowd attantion. they enjoy it more i guess :) goody day bro
Skrillex is better
this sucks
Я слышу русскую речь !
