When it comes to black versions of The Baroness, I think I like the Classified one better; but it's great Super7 did a blue version too. If money wasn't an issue, I'd get me both a Classifed one and the blue version by Super7.
Nice review! I like that you immediately brought Destro in at the beginning. 👍 I really enjoy your vids and reviews; I respectfully disagree with one point here though... the color of her suit is perfect. I think in some sort of "Mandela Effect" way people think of her suit as being black. It's just dark grey, and the only thing that is actually black on her character design is her hair (and glasses). And yes, that grey, quilted area on the back of her boots is accurate in design and color. 🙂👍 I think Super7 nailed this one! Keep up the good work, sir! 🙌
Great review. I’ve been sharing these on X a lot.. btw I’m glad you decided to get the Mass Device Baroness.. I was going to pass on her too waiting for this one, but then I saw the gas mask and thought, shoot she can be another cobra trooper in the background of my display! So it’s a win win! Why not keep the 1st Baroness. That’s perfect! 👍 I’m glad they gave us that gas mask head feature.

These figs just continue to impress me. I’m army building the troopers, B.A.T., and Crimson Guard when they come out. I’m a little annoyed that not only the shipping boxes disappeared l, but this wave also saw the loss of the slip cover. I display my figs, but I keep all packaging. No price change either. I’m sure they would say they needed to trim down packaging to remain at cost. I’m glad to see they keep putting out great figs, and I also hope this line continues. Vehicles would be amazing!
They lost me after Flint's skin wasn't painted. This line is junk compared to Classified and Threezero and Mezco Joes. They need way better paint for the price
With Wave 6 now canceled, Super 7 said in a recent interview that they are slowing on Joe Ultimates and I'd bet likely going all in on their O-ring. I want to love these, but we'll never get Sgt. Slaughter, or many other characters as I don't think they can keep these preordered at the amount Super 7 needs it seems. Brian (Super 7) was pretty clear that they are seeing preorders way down and are thinking of other ways to move forward. I just think $55 Ultimate's aren't sustainable for some IP. Time will tell.
Because the quality looks like something from the dollar store. The paint is awful compared to the Classified line. I'd rather buy Threezero or Mezco both of which are doing GREAT and QUALITY work on the Joe line as well as the awesome Classified line

I sure hope so, one of my favourite looks for Snake Eyes in the Cartoon series! I guess a V2 wouldn't really need a Timber though considering we already have one with the first release.
Wonder Woman would beat her in instantly. Heck, even Black Canary...or any female member of the Batfamily.
I was never into G.I. Joe. For once, I don´t seem to recall that the cartoon even aired on Puerto Rico. And second, I´ve never been into military/action.
...when I grew up I did like the action movies of Arnold, Stallone and such. Heck, long ago (but not that long ago) I watched the Silverster and Arnold movie that they did together and I liked it. So I´m sure that if I revisited those movies or decided to watch action movies/series I´d like them. But its something I don´t look forward to.

Yes, and I get the irony that I love superheroes (DC in particular) and the genre itself is basically action...but there are super powers and other stuff involved.
This is really good but I think I will be satisfied with my Classified version that has the Coil motorcycle, But thanks for another good review
you're welcome, have you been more into collecting the Classified than the Super7 ones? I would be more into getting the Classifieds but strangely stores locally just don't seem to want to stock any of the newer ones, got a lot of old figures sitting on shelves and with the Super7 being the price that they are, it eats up so much of the spending money to try and get the Classified stuff on top of that

So I've been ordering online mostly for 8 years, my fave local comic shop closed down after the Pandemic lockdowns, Anyway I like ''Cobra Classified'' got the main ones I want, Only 10 and a big display with Thrones for Cobra Commander and Destro (lol) I used to buy a lot of SW Black Series, and for a while Masterverse, but now I'm pickier and selecting specific things from franchises I like, rather then buying everything, prices have slowly gone up, and such is life. Been watching all your reviews for a couple of months, Sorry I don't comment that often.

Yes there was a episode of gi joe that showed her boots up close it was a two part episode where cobra took some of the joes family and used thy as human shields
She was in the swamp aft gung ho’s family Walking in the muddy swamp when captured by his gamut as they try to make her eat gumbo she breaks free and almost steps on a gator

I wonder if they had to make them thicker on purpose so they would be more durable and not snap? I do also think they would have looked better thinner. Thanks for giving the video a watch, do you think you'll be picking up the Baroness as well?

@@TheReviewSpot yeah kind of. Something is definitely off..... Felt the same for Lady jaye (all heads) and blue baroness( Don't remember which head). I don't have any of the figures since my orders got cancelled
Yeah Lady Jay definitely had problems with the heads the biggest one with the lacking of the paint. but I know what you mean there's something off with the Baroness' eyes on the headsculpts. Why did your orders get cancelled though was that the site that did it or you decided you didnt want to collect them?
@@TheReviewSpot The lacking of paint was a wave 2 issue all the way but the eyes man. The eyes are so off..... Its troubling when you pay so much for these figures.
The site cancelled my order. I placed the pre order in November of 2021, then super7 delayed the release. Finally after it got released the site had issues and after months of back and forth correspondence they cancelled it. Did want to collect them. I grew up playing with the 3.75 figures and still got them so was kind of disappointed. But right now I am thinking I should focus more on figures that are bit unique rather than every figure that is released.

Hasbro licenses their IPs out to other toy companies that do different things than their inhouse lines.

Yeah Hasbro has been lending their IPs to other companies, word is they might do that with a lot of their lines in the future and get out of the Toy making space. Hiya Toys and Super7 are making GIJOEs now
you beat me to it, yeah both Super7 and Hiya are doing the Joe stuff for now, apparently Hasbro wants to get out of the toy making business and just lease out their IPs for other companies to make

I used to, but they were really hard to get locally and had to order a lot of them online, When Super7 came out with their line of GIJOE ultimates and they were based more on the Cartoon series that I grew up with, I wanted to focus more on getting that line

Good figures but not great. As an action figure collector, the limited articulation of all Super 7 stops me from buying, which is sad, becaue we are all screaming for super articulated old time cartoon Joes in 6 inch scale, and Hasblo's "Classified Retro" releases are too sparodic at best.
I don't know how you guys can justify spending that much on an action figure. The prices are getting pretty close to 1/6 scales. Maybe it's just me but i feel like even classifieds are overpriced. This is coming from someone who collects the 1/6 scale and even 1/4 scale sideshow statues. I just don't see the value in these figures
