I don’t understand these negative comments, like who cares that you might think it’s a little sloppy. It’s a parade, they aren’t nearly as serious as in Parades as they are in competition. This is supposed to be fun, they are not getting graded on it.
I disagree with you 100% period when wearing the uniform of the Chicago Cavaliers, they should show more respect for the organization and their history. When performing in public you always should put your best foot forward whether it be a competition or a parade or just any exhibition. This is what separates a real drum and bugle Corps from a marching band. They look and act like a marching band I have nothing against marching bands but certainly not a real drum and bugle Corp. Lack of military bearing, just doing what you please is unacceptable. DCI has been the demise of the drum and bugle Corp activity.
It's to make it easier for the whole corps to hear them. It's much harder to be the 80th person away in the front than the 40th person away in the back.
@@drumming_hits6969 a real drum and bugle Corp, the Drumline is always in front. Marching bands typically put their drum section in the rear or in the middle.
@@bellabice7512 when performing in public you always put your best foot forward. Marching bands have never had the discipline that are real drum and bugle Corps always had.
@@americanspirit8932 i don’t think it’s about how much effort they were putting forward but more about the time they had to clean it. drum corps don’t spend all day everyday in the summer working on parades. they work on their show. they probably put this together in days. of course it’s gonna be sloppy.
@@yesorlando05 I don't know what you're talking about, lots of corps have produced entertaining shows in modern years. Take Metamorph in 2017, Babylon in 2018, and even The Bluecoats and Goliath from 2019.
Like these style uniforms way better than the costumes of today.

EXACTLY. People need to lighten up and smell the roses.

@@americanspirit8932 no he’s right. Drumlines in dci don’t practice parades and events that much compared to show music.

When I put in my keywords, this is exactly what I was looking for. Great performance.
❤
What a sweet corp .
Bunco Rules!

Center snare marched Illini.
I'll always love the Cavs but those unis aren't my favorite
WTF is the drumline doing in the middle?

Why cant they be in the middle?
the drums belong up front.
Being cool duh

This is incredibly sloppy, musically and visually. DCI is so different now. Entertainment value is gone. I feel bad for the kids. Sad, smh.
lol.
lol have you seen their lot performances? this is super sloppy, you’re right. but go watch a lot performance or something. they’re super clean

all the tradition is gone. a once great corps is gone.
