It sort of fits both characters well. Yasha doesn’t understand how telepathy or the like works at all, and Caddy would somehow just know she was talking to him anyway.
If they do end up animating the M9, and they make it all the way to this special, I hope they do animate this scene like Yasha sends the message and then it cuts to a close up of Caduceus's face and he's like, "Hey, long time no see. How have you been?" And then it zooms out and he's talking to a beetle that landed on a gravestone nearby.
At the end of The Legend of Vox Machina, they need this transition scene to end it: Little Jester toddles towards the door as her mother escorts an unknown man past. The door closes, and The Traveler appears, tutting his finger and telling her no. Toddler Jester pouts, and says “abbey tour!” The Traveler sighs. “If you want an _adventure,_ how about I tell you one as a bedtime story?” Toddler Jester gasps in delight, squeak-shouts “bed time stowy,” and rushes for the bed. She’s too small to jump on top, so The Traveler helps her up, then tucks her in. He then takes her teddy bear, and animates it. As Jester laughs and claps, he weaves more lights, each color making their own figure. “This is a tale about adventurers from some time ago. A time when dragons, vampires and more threatened all people. This, is the Legend of Vox Machina.”
this is like my favorite thing from Campaign 2; Yasha being convinced that she could Message people. Also, all I'm saying is with Caduceus's bonkers fucking perception there's always a chance he could definitely hear that message lolol.
Listen, with Cad’s perception, he can see Vax sitting on the couch watching the campaign unfold. He can see where Scanlan’s dad went. He can see who’s on the Taldorei council, which is why he never asked.
I love the Cadeuces is so in touch with the universe he responds to a message that can’t be sent. He is my all time favorite character from critical role- I actually derived some of my life philosophy from his easygoing acceptance of what the world throws at him.
Same here. I'm a Dudeist and I've drawn so many similarities between The Dude and The Deuce. They're both laid back, easy going fellows with very few cares in the world, only worrying about the important shit in their lives.
I love that everytime beau or yasha get a call the other one chimes in with stuff in the background, people who’ve been together a long time or married a long time really do do this and it shows that they’ve become happy and domestic
I'm convinced, still, that Matt and Sam had agreed that Nott actually does receive the messages when Yasha sends them (including this one) just purely as a joke.
Honestly it’s probably harder for her as Imogen because she has to be pragmatic about it and like getting a message across in 25 words or less can be hard
It was from the Mighty Nein Reunion special. Which aired weeks ago and only had two episodes of 4 to 5 hours each. It's not even part of campaign 2. Canonically, it plays half a year after campaign 2. It's basically a backdrop to "bring the band back together". We are well into campaign 3 by now. I understand you maybe not having watched through campaign 2 all the way. Yet, you clicked on this video. The only person responsible for the spoiler is yourself here. The title clearly stated, that one character is messaging another. Both from campaign 2. It is obvious, that this message might contain spoilers. Again, you only have yourself to blame. If you don't want to be spoilered about something you haven't watched yet, maybe don't watch shorts about it. Tends to help. And obviously don't watch that special. If you think this short was a spoiler, don't watch the special, mate. Again, the whole "woops U'kotoa is free" is just the backdrop for this special. Everything else in the special itself, is major spoilers for campaign 2. Finish campaign 2, then watch the special. Until then, if you don't want spoilers for campaign 2, there's an easy fix: don't watch UA-cam shorts or compilations about campaign 2. Those things tend to contain spoilers by their very nature. Should be obvious.
Taliesin all ready to respond is my favorite. I just picture Caduceus randomly going "Hey" in his sleep. 😁
reminds me of the rhyming bit with percy and scanlan from campaign one

@@captain_eaglefortHe does have godly passive perception

Yes! That would be perfect!

Well you're in luck!
I love the Yasha thinks she can Message joke, bur it was great to hear a Caduceus "Hey!"

When Jester said there were 5 words left, and Yasha added "love you" i was hoping for an "are you pooping?"

Happy and domestic. :]
@@xerman11 we need more warrior lesbians who get a happy ending
I love that Matt is still counting the words for her 😅😅😅

I like how they all look at Laura and say this is hard because now they go thru the struggles of using sending spells themselves lol
Honestly it’s probably harder for her as Imogen because she has to be pragmatic about it and like getting a message across in 25 words or less can be hard
M9: Caduceus? Uk'otoa's free.
CC: Yikes. Sorry, I'm performing Temple of The Gods for the Grove.
I 100% thought yasha learned sending
“HEY!”
Love these people!
They are great boys and girls, my favorite is Ashley Johnson and my favorite trio of women too
Hilarious 😂
