And that's why, NFS Undercover (PS2 version) is one of my best childhood games, no matter how "bad" is this game, i enjoyed this game so much.

When I was young every game was good for me. I played shitty ass game that honestly aren't worth playing. When you come back to it, the nostalgia doesn't always work when a game is REALLY shit.

Exactly its the fun kind, that just adds to enjoyment and at worst it's just cute with how it feels like some whole hearted but not fully competent massive mod to NFS Carbon :)
The rubberbanding in the PS2/Wii game is completely insane, highway battles are unwinnable until certain time because opponents always catch up to you
and the cops are so ridiculously stupid yet spawn in large numbers
One time i checked the statistics after the race found out the Ai reached max speed of 900kmh LMAO

I love atmosphere and music in PC garage but its awful in all other aspects. PS2/Wii version is really fun and has up to 4 players splitscreen :v
Reformed does fix it a tiny bit on pc tho

Great idea, terrible execution. Loved the non-racing missions, music and the entire "under construction" map, but the entire game was giving me a motion sickness
Despite how awful Undercover is (PS2 Version), back then as a child, I loved it. Still do in fact. I could easily overlook the bad aspects and focus on the real NFS experience I remembered. It had a story and a soul (at least back then). After this game, it started going downhill and what little story these games had, they were eliminated entirely.

Undercover is probably even more buggy due to emulation, I never had anywhere near as many bugs in an entire playthrough than I’ve seen in this video.
I NEVER had an bad AI Problem like this in this video,i played on HARD and the game is quite easy
The Ai catch-up is very high on the highway battles but they slow down when they start getting closer to you
The cars are still pink tho.
I agree, I've played the story like 5 times till the end and never had something happen or even close to his experience in the game. I guess Kuru is lucky to be a BUG-Magnet

One thing that was good in Undercover at launch, was the busted cutscenes. They are great
This is so funny to me because as a kid ps2 undercover was my favorite, it was like everything from most wanted with more cars and easier police. But looking back playing undercover before most wanted was a big part of this lmaoo, if I had most wanted first I think I would've hated undercover
NFS Undercover will remain in my soul forever.
I hope Lanoi improves their editing, really feels bland and the transition to Instant Gaming always feel so damn sudden and out of nowhere.
The editing also just a feels like a compilation of random clips instead of adding something memey into it

Ps2 undercover was the first nfs i ever owned and it's really close to me
I remember going like 350 km/h on reverse with a the old challenger or the camaro ss for the ps2 version, what a glitch , i will try to confirm this ont the emulation ...
It took me a whole mod to even get my Xbox controller working properly on this game.
As broken as it was, PS2 Undercover has been and will always be my no.1 NFS

I can see why it’s more fun than 4 but 5 and 3? Idk fh1 has the best feeling still same with 2

While 1 and 2 were fun, immersive, and innovative, since 3rd Horizon there is no innovation and it's always the same primitive cringe-driven arcade racing. I finished and enjoyed both 1 and 2 but I could play only few hours of 3, 4, and 5 before uninstalling because it was just too boring and embarassing.
Those highway battles man. At least in career it's just two minutes, but in the challenge menu, the clock can be ten minutes....for just 600 feet needed. Awful.
ps2 version is more broken on 60fps i guess. i played OG version, it was broken but not that much

im suprised that they used the crown vic as the heat lvl 1 cop car instead of the civic+crown vic hybrid like they did on pc
edit: also the state patrols have mustangs instead of challengers and federal cops uses the gallardo instead of the gtr

I played this on the Xbox 360 and the handling was just so annoying but also realistic enough to feel like it was an actual struggle rather than the usual arcadey feel NFS usually is.

u can actually going at more than 400 km/h on reverse in nfs undercover PS2 (pretty fun to see it)
It would be fun if the cars in reverse don't have limit,so this basically would be big rigs but 10x better.

I played NFS Underecover on my pc with my PS4 Scuf Impact controller and it always crashed the game for no reason. But playing with my keyboard worked somehow. Bought the game on Steam doe.

Even though it was bad, I enjoyed it. I have it on my playstation 2. The only big thing I really hate is the rubberbanding in the outrun events.
