The Armaf Tag Him bottle, reminds me of the cameras people used in the 70s, with the flash cube on one side.

What is performance like on Tres Nuit Pete? I have wanted to get my nose on that one for ages. I love GIT but definitely wouldn't pay retail. Coty Aspen is great for the price and lovely in the Spring when the sun comes out 👍

@@funwithfragrances I have some principles that I try to live by and I also try to pass on to my kids. One of them is if you can afford to buy quality then do it even if it only happens a handful of times in your life. In the end you will save money in the long term and you will learn to appreciate quality. I have good knives in my kitchen, a couple of expensive briar pipes, and a modest collection of expensive fragrances and raw materials. I got lucky and bought a load of oud way before it got rare, real Siberian musk, and various quality attars. I'm far from rich as I'm disabled and live on benefits due to a bad bike accident and I can no longer enjoy many things that I used to so I needed to find new ones. I'm a chef by trade and it was a natural progression from culinary herbs, spices and oils to the world of fragrance. I have 3 attars that I created which aren't too shabby although the last one is missing something that I'm waiting to find. I sent one to a friend of mine, Shams who buys and sells oud (Oxford Ouds) and attars and he thought it was great.
It's definitely an art form in itself and I tend to work through fragrances by different perfumers in blocks to get a feel. It's a beautiful journey and I only wish I was younger so that I could enjoy it more.
I strongly recommend you reach out to Shams at Oxford Ouds for an amazing selection of ouds and maybe review a few on your channel. He's got an Instagram account and regularly posts from around the world when he travels to buy his stuff. Some of the ancient copper stills etc are a real thing of beauty.
