Game description
December 2021, Tokyo district court. Akihiro Ehara stands accused of groping a woman on a crowded train. A bystander’s video footage of his attempt to flee the scene and subsequent apprehension is all over the news, and public outcry demands a maximum sentence.
“Three days ago, a dead body was found in an abandoned building in Yokohama. Have you identified it yet?” he proclaims as confusion cuts through the court room.
His defense lawyer, Saori Shirosaki, has no doubt that crucial details of the situation have been overlooked, as Ehara was not even tried for the murder. She contacts detective Takayuki Yagami to investigate this further.
How could Ehara have committed two crimes at once? Was the sexual battery just a cover up? Has Ehara gamed the entire justice system? As victims surface and Yagami digs farther into the truth, he is faced with a question: Defend the law, or enact justice?
From just a single stumble, one can become a monster…

I love how excited Yagami and Kaito got in that first cutscene. When I saw their faces, I was like "Yes! *Beat* the *children!* " and was shocked when I actually was prompted to fight them.

@@maulanaaja2162 To be fair, Sega probably only had a contract/agreement for console games. They originally only did the first game on PS4. I’m guessing porting the game onto other consoles required the Agency’s consent as well. Apparently, the PC would violate their potential agreement and policies.

Honestly after all the past suicides that had happened in the past, It made me happy to see that the modern day bullies in a sense broke the cycle and apologized to Koda.

the reformed bullies (akane,sakaki,matsui) personality is very similliar to nagumo tsuyoshi (captain of the hirose family (minus: yuta, matsunaga, tagashira )) from yakuza 6 as both characters of the game are at first, antagonize to the protagonist when the protagonist are arrived in their town (kiryu in onomichi, hiroshima and yagami in ijincho, yokohama) but as the story progress they become potential allies of the protagonist to stop a main villain achieving their goals ( kiryu and the hirose family decided to battle against iwami tsuneo who's responsible of everything that trigger's a story of yakuza 6) (the reformed bullies decided to help yagami and his gang after they finished fighting of a couple RK goons that's when they were cornered by couple of cops send by bando the reformed bullies decided to record a couple of cops who's using excessive force to another detective named watanabe which gives yagami and his gang a time to escape to a warehouse where soma and kuwana are located and stop both soma and kuwana achieving their goals). and plus one of the bullies named akane has gone very similliar situation like nagumo did. as both characters are caught in a dangerous situation (nagumo being beaten up by masuzoe and his gang for disobeying his(masuzoe) orders which makes kiryu has to save his life) and (akane after ratting out koda to RK she(akane) is also kidnapped by RK which makes yagami and his gang decided to save both of them (akane and koda). And they become heel-face turn after the protagonist saves them (nagumo thanking kiryu for saving his lives and pleading to be his-aniki) and (akane say sorry to yagami for what she did to him and also say sorry to koda for ratting her out to RK).

I'll be honest when I first played this I had flashbacks to when I was bullied, and it gave me a little relief when you could beat them up in game. It sounds bad to say but a similar situation happened when I was picked on and punched one of them in the face. Everything stopped and we were good with each other after that. Sort of similar to this (in a way).
Feel ya man. School was the worst time of my life.

i love Lost Judgment but i feel we could have more scenes with this bunch, it feels like their transition from bullies to Yagami's friends is kinda rushed, hell Matsui is the only one who we actually see slowly change acts meanwhile Akane just flips after getting saved by Yagami and the other dude he just flips offscreen, maybe they could have been part of the School Stories to flesh them out more

But what makes me laugh is how in ToCS, Sean Chiplock voices a military school student turned world saving hero, and then here he's just a douche school bully who becomes a butt-monkey from all the beatings he keeps receiving from Yagami.

That whole "first penguin" scene where thanks to yagami and the gang talking on the mini speakers to get the students to finally confront the bullies is beautiful 😢

Only now I realise how small amount of VA japanese devs have, like Greg Chun (Yagami VA) is present in Yakuza Like A Dragon as Nanba, also he is present in AC7 as Count.
All I can hear is punk Subaru bullying poor Emilia for no reason 😅. And Betelgeuse just playing Vigilante, killing bullies in the shadow.
