Today, March 25, 2024, marks 12 years after our edd... it hurts me, I never met him, my frustrated dream is to have met him, he has been my idol for years, so many people like me who have inspired and will inspire... no I have words to describe his entire legacy, but I can say that it is painful and at the same time beautiful; painful because he left so young and beautiful because his friends still continue with their series... Matt, Tom and company, simply thank you, thank you for letting his world continue spinning after he left... This day is painful because who took away a wonderful person from his family, his friends and the entire internet, but we should remember that boy who followed his passion of making animations for the internet that entertain other people. I remember when I first got the news. I was in 7th grade, and had just come home from school. I set my backpack down, grabbed a glass of water, and sat at the computer, hoping to see that eddsworld had posted a new video. I logged in, and my Facebook feed was still up from the previous night. At the top of my feed was Tom’s video. I couldn’t go to school the next day, I was crying so much. I begged god to bring him back, because he was the person most responsible for most of the happiness in my life at the time. But, I came to realize, it was his time to go. This still breaks my heart more than ever. Edd was a charming, funny, kind, and caring individual. I broke down in tears when I first discovered the news a few years back. He is such a good-hearted person who didn't deserve to go. I recently started watching EddsWorld again, and I had to come back here to say how much Edd had impacted me as a person. This still breaks my heart more than ever. Edd was a charming, funny, kind, and caring individual. I broke down in tears when I first discovered the news a few years back. He is such a good-hearted person who didn't deserve to go. I recently started watching EddsWorld again, and I had to come back here to say how much Edd had impacted me as a person. He is an ongoing inspiration for me and my work to come. I wouldn't have been able to begin creating what I have now, if it weren't for him. I always learned the best from his kind spirit and amazing imagination. I am thankful that the wirld was blessed with such a great mind.
Edd, I miss you soo much! Rest in peace angel, you will always be loved and missed by me and all the wonderful people in the community who have been with you all this time. I hope things are going pretty swell in heaven for you my guy ❤

It’s crazy because I used to watch these videos religiously and I haven’t really since Ed passed. And now with my own cancer diagnosis it feels a bit cathartic to be go back in time and see this again. It’s crazy how time is always moving

Edd, is honesty a ledgend. I remember watching his videos when I was 10 or so I always got a good laugh out of them. I am now turning 16, I am an artist and animator. Eddsworld is my biggest inspiration for my animations. We will never forget you

The fact that i was born in 25th Of March 2012 blows my mind
asdfmovie and eddsworld is how i meet my best friend he was quoting asdfmovie on a school lunchbreak and i joined in he then told me about eddsworld and i've been obsessed it even inspired us to make our own animations and now an animated show and movie, that movie has been indevelopment since 2022 and will be finished some time in 2025. so thank you edd, tom, and matt i wouldnt be here without you.
