There is a Chinese colony in Kolkata. They are mostly into restaurant and tannery business. The best Chinese food in India can be found only in Kolkata. Now many Chinese left for Canada. Only senior Chinese residents are left. The ambassador to India from China was in awe to see a big Chinese colony in Kolkata. He was the chief guest invitee in a Chinese New Year celebration in Kolkata.
