Phills actually quite an easy man to read as Players go, he's so aware of his long Poker career yet at the same time doesn't seem to realise many unknown players he comes up against have watched him play for decades, read his Poker literature and so know his game, tells etc etc inside out where his opponents are often a blank to him, curious that the self proclaimed greatest of all time cant factor these things into his strategy.
His rants are what give him his popularity. He knows that he's doing. People ranting about his rants with their comments online will always keep him relevant.

Phil can't understand when people play "sub optimally" But playing sub optimally against him is much better because he can't fathom it, he thinks everyone should just be predictable
I don't play much poker but I do know that after the flop a random 3 ball is always possible so to go all in with two pair after the flop is pretty foolish

It’s in everyone’s best interests to grow the game. Remember, when hole cams were initially introduced, many objected for obvious reasons but eventually realized it was worth it to make poker watchable and expand its reach.
