In this video, we completely overhaul a ZF6HP26 valve body off of a 2007 BMW 550i (E60): re-installing the "guts," new pressure plate, and new solenoids. Plus a surprise visit from my "not loud at all" furnace in the dungeon workshop's background.

How do you clean the valve body

I use all purpose cleaner (50/50 mix) in my parts cleaner, then rinse in isopropyl alcohol and blow out with my air compressor
