My girlfriend and I have never slept so soundly. Thank you so much for this!
My husband and I sleep to this every night. The only thing is we wish it was longer. It’s the only one we have found that we both really like. The rain is perfect and the other noises are just quiet enough while still being active enough also. Plus, I love the wind sound and my husband loves it too because it sounds like the ocean. My point is, it’s pretty much the perfect soundscape for us, we love it!

why do Skyrim ambiance sound more realistic than these "night sounds" yt videos?
Honestly why I prefer them.
It's probably because the Skyrim ones aren't packed with over-the-top wolves howling at the moon and birds that shouldn't even be awake, and God knows what else.
My theory, “night sounds” expect an exhausted audience. Skyrim was made for people to spend hours on hours expecting this. Game immersion

Yeah I often wonder why they didn't put owls in skyrim owls like cold forest areas there is some sort of owl sound occasionally but they should have added shrieking owls and other types of owl too.

I have a playlist of these type of videos and I play them whenever I’m reading; I play a specific video for a specific type of book e.g I have “blade runner rain and city ambience” videos for when I’m reading books like 1984 or Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. So now I have found my favorite video to play whilst I’m reading gothic literature. I miss Skyrim so much, the atmosphere and soundtrack was breath taking. Perhaps when I get a new gaming laptop I’ll play again.

@@AmbianceMagic Skyrim was what I spent all night christmas eve on playing and enjoying the ruggedness of Skyrim. The soundtrack is beautiful, with an atmosphere that could get you feeling the setting in a whole new way, at the time. I hear you man. I used to live in a desert and we never got rain, so I'd wake up early and listen to these and pretend its raining, read a book, enjoy the morning.
You ever get that gaming setup and play Skyrim again?

I love this for many reasons, it's very calming and it shows how much work was put into the audio in this game, it's a shame I haven't stopped to listen to it before

I saw in another comment that there is a longer version of this. I wish I could find it, I can't figure out how to make it loop on my TV without having to cast from my phone.
If you install an add on called Enhancer for UA-cam it has a loop feature.
You can also right-click on a video and select "loop".
This has been perfect for the past 8months or so, until the loud blarring ads started in the middle...maybe get rid of the ads again.
