a truly fascinating piece of work.I do have some minor compulsions but they are rather silly, they do not affect my life too much and I can refrain from doing certain things once I realise that I am doing them. I am able to tame them. I cannot imagine living like the people from the documentary. I sympathise with them deeply and hope one day they will all manage to beat their OCD's

Covid must have driven so many people like her to crisis level. I hope she is coping alright now.

And from covid I still clean all my shopping and yes still shoe's of and we remove outside clothes as soon as we get home...that woman is literally me...I don't even want outside people sitting on my couch as I can't clean it properly....and most of my things came from wanting to protect my baby... that woman is me...and I hope my son is okay and not damaged y me as he is used to the shoe's off and I've relaxed in having him shower after using the toilet as I know life outside doesn't work like that...my goodness so eye-opening.

I question the medical history of the young man that killed himself. On average, about two thirds of people with OCD will experience an episode of major depression in their lifetime. I just wish a lot of these people were also asked what other medical conditions they suffered from.

Stop shaking hands with people! Yuk! Shoes off is a given. Why would anyone walk around their home in shoes that you’ve worn outside?
