Krishnamurti believed that thought is essentially mechanical and repetitive. It is rooted in memory, past experiences, and conditioning. Because it is based on the known, thought cannot bring about anything truly new or creative. Thought operates in a limited framework, bound by the confines of what has already been experienced or learned. In this sense, creativity does not emerge from thought but rather from a state beyond thought.
To be able to observe thought has to end. Otherwise you cannot see truth. As long as thought is operating you are looking with eyes from the past. “To see the world with eyes untouched by the past.” - Jiddu Krishnamurti
That’s an idea I’ve wanted to communicate to someone very close to me, they trust their thought perceptions so much and the fixedness of their thinking patterns is so clear to see..
That´s why the politicians never change the world, be it through wars, international lies, abusive taxes, vengeance, eternal crises. They never stop, their tense brains cannot see a thing, be it from the past, present or future; they must present production, or fear will take care of them... and if we touch That, we will blessed with love, compassion, intelligence, the truth, and on. The end of their violence, authoritarism, ambition, fear. Thanks for the video.
So no mind, no self and that’s samadhi. And in that samadhi is awareness (wisdom). And in that pure awareness-being is liberation which is beyond the reach of mind. So, “I” thank “You” in which You being the way of universe, ie, you are that. So I am that I am.
The ending of thought is essentially the ending of the ego because the ego is comprised of the beliefs we formed from experiences and knowledge in memory that are the fodder for thought.
JK was against all beliefs. He has stated the truth. Thought has created this society & one must understand the limitations of thinker & thought mechanism
He is a man who is devoid of any dogmas, practices, methods, beliefs, etc and explored completely through self exploration. The limitation of the thought can be realized when our ego becomes arrogant if it feels that is becoming weaker.
Yes, whats being said here, has more implications than ‘be present’, ‘clear your mind’. We have tons of ‘experts’ and ‘gurus’ and ‘mental health specialists’ saying the same thing. Nobody listens to them. The implications of a silent mind being directly tied to fundamental change in society is what K dared to outline that other ‘mindfulness’ advocates don’t. It gets controversial. 😮✌🏻
I had this experience of absolute silence one evening after trying to explain the mind to my aunt. I haven't had it again ever since but at least I know for sure that it is real.
You dont know what to desire, it is unkown state. It is always new, every time silence appears. When you observe the thoughts to their roots, you dont desire the truth you intend to find out the truth with courage, stronger then the fear of it.@@sherabwangchug3322
Thx for uploading this clip. And it is important to upload these snippets because they are so concise. For me, it is hard to see the importance of being silence. Even if I understand it intellectually.
I don't think it is easy to understand because it is very easy. Sometimes easiest ones are difficult to comprehend. I will try to add my understanding on what JK is saying. Every activity of human being comes into action because of thought and thought revolves around me (a superficial image built by default). This image/program takes space in mind. Once we able to make that space free by removing that image/program, the space is empty. Plz don't think about that image as being mean or thinking about themseleves only. If you think about others than also its coming from thoughts. So don't mistaken good or bad here. Its just thoughts and removing that creates space to allow something else to be there.
If one could make the distinction between the fact and the illusion/thought , then there would be much less confusion . Facts are way clearer than the 'feelings' !
What brings about the unconditional intention 'to want to swim' in humans ? To inquire ? Seeing intellectually that thought has produced a false idea of self with all its psychological becoming all the time seems not enough. What makes the penny drop ? It seems near impossible to get it across as a certain preparedness, openness seems necessary in the other when conversing. What brings it about ?
Its like you are statying in a house and when you cone out of it you have whole world. But inside uour house you are in a boundary of your house. But when you come out there is no boundary
Thought is the first step when leaving the present reality. Meditation, is present mediation of senses and the thoughts that may arise. Sense brings about thought, thought of past images. Meditation enables one to prune unproductive thought.patterns, brought about by present senses recalling past images. When not in active pruning meditation, remain present. Then, When you encounter thought, step back into present consciousness, or you leave the present to a theoritical concept made of past images. The Helper referred to in John 14, is the helper left in us, by the son of the one consciousness present in all. Our internal mediator, we converse with silently in meditation. Ever present, never ending, eternally present, all knowing, limitless knowledge…
When the thought ends, the Self "I Am" ends because "I Am" resides in thought. Then there is immense limitless space which was being limited by the "I Am" the limited local Self in thought. Is this the gist of this lecture?
It’s not about not thinking about it it’s about not adding or taking away from it. Just be there with it and everything else that arises and dissipates

@@sudeerbabug9934 The listener makes what he/she wants from the wisdom of K !
That is your believe about K
I think that this video gives the core message of Jiddu Krishnamurthy.
Life, the reality isn't fragmented. But we are fragmented, and until it is seen, the holiness of the wholeness doesn't come.
That's a lot of "THEY". Politicians are people. We are people.

One of the best videos of Jiddu, his message is clear.
Thanks for uploading this video.
👍Is clear
Absolutely marvelous
So clear......What a great teacher!!❤
The entire narrative about him not being jagatguru, was that he was not clear
Aum...beyond words and imaginations is just pure silent bliss...I love all enlightened actions= so magnifisant and beautyful...best company ever.Aum❤
This is the best explanation about ceasing the limitation on brain I have ever listened! Thank you so much. 🙏😃❤️
So simple! Just observe!
He is a man who is devoid of any dogmas, practices, methods, beliefs, etc and explored completely through self exploration. The limitation of the thought can be realized when our ego becomes arrogant if it feels that is becoming weaker.
Thank you Krishnaji 🙏🙏❤️
The end of becoming (something/anything) makes the transition to being (no attributes/nothing/not a thing) 💚🙏 !
What transition?
Yes, whats being said here, has more implications than ‘be present’, ‘clear your mind’. We have tons of ‘experts’ and ‘gurus’ and ‘mental health specialists’ saying the same thing. Nobody listens to them.

Very logical, the expansion.
Only Truth from this Great Man❤
Don't think, just be aware of the present. Remain in this state longer and longer. Don't overcomplicate it
Wanting to remain in that state is a desire and that is conditioned too
You dont know what to desire, it is unkown state. It is always new, every time silence appears. When you observe the thoughts to their roots, you dont desire the truth you intend to find out the truth with courage, stronger then the fear of it.@@sherabwangchug3322

Gratidão por esse video
Blew my mind
Thanks
thought has divided itself into thought and the thinker when thought comes to an end so does the thinker
JK 🙏🙏🙏
In order to reach the destination, a person constantly measures himself against the environment. Just like an autonomous car. We act like a machine
❤
I do meditation OAM chanting evriday
The problem is that we don't see that thought is limited. Thought has a far too great importance to us.
I can see how thoughts are limited but i don't see any change in me
🙏🙏
0:03 Isn't that feeling of importance itself a thought? Thus no 'no thought'
If one could make the distinction between the fact and the illusion/thought , then there would be much less confusion .

Thought is the essence of being. So, I don’t understand what he means

I have tinnitus. When I meditate I hear this peeping sound. How can I not think about this?
Hear that sound also , silence is not exclusive of sound.
It’s not about not thinking about it it’s about not adding or taking away from it. Just be there with it and everything else that arises and dissipates
