Awesome review man. I think I’m set on this being my first mower for my first home I purchased this month. Can’t wait for spring time to start cutting! My house is a 2021 build with seedlings that are growing and won’t be ready till next spring anyways
Great review I have a 2007 Toro Super Recycler still running and I never bag. I have only changed the oil 2 times in almost 16 years. I like the Smart-Stow maybe in 2024 I will buy a Recycler . I paid $569.99 for my mower. I do not think I will have to pay that much for a new one. I like the Personal Pace too. 186 likes now
Nice! It’s been a great mower. As long as the grass height doesn’t get out of control, and the grass is not wet, it does a great job mulching and I have never bagged anything.
Hey that’s great! How do you like it so far?! I just got one and wondering how do you use the mulching feature or does it automatically cut and mulch at the same time? Thanks
I do still use it regularly, but do not mow the whole lawn. I’m mowing with a lawn tractor, but still use the Toro to go around edges and some other areas. I am still very pleased with it! I do not keep a spare blade. I just sharpen the blade myself as needed. I just use a right angle grinder with a flapper wheel.
Excellent video can you please let me know your model so I'll I buy the same ..... I am like you mostly interested in mulching and less possibly bagging single blade like toro is the best, my old lawnmover had only a blade .and did a perfect job (B&S engine) .... Thank in advance
Mine will be 3 years old this summer and it is not mulching like when I first bought it. Even with sharpened blades it's leaving clumps along the non-grass side.
Hmm. I've got a Toro Recycler 22'. But it exhibits exceedingly poor mulching capability. I typically end up having to rake up the excess debris. That's something that was never necessary with my walk-behind, self-propelled Snapper, which was equipped with a mulching kit including a special blade. I miss my Snapper. :(
I just found this video looking for solutions to clogging. This mower does it excessively. After 2 years of owing, I gave up and put the bag on, and it seems to help so far. Honestly, not very happy so far.
Hi, I bought this and it keeps stalling. Toro puts 7.25 ft. lbs. torque as a way to trick us. This only has 3.6 Horsepower!! Look it up! My 10 year old Toro mower had 6.5 HP and until recently that one stalled so I replaced it with this piece of garbage! Go to Toros website under Model 20339 and look at my 1 star review with pics. Leaves clumps of grass all over when it isn't stalling out. Their customer service wasn't helpful either. DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL!!
Great point. It is out of the ordinary that they advertise the torque, but not the horsepower (the horsepower is what is typically advertised). I agree that they likely do this because the torque is a higher value, which looks more impressive. Sorry to hear that yours is not doing the job. Mine will bog down if the grass height gets excessive, but I’m usually only cutting off an inch or two, which it handles no problem. I purchased it 3 years ago. Maybe something has changed.
It always mulches. The design of the deck and the blade make it a mulcher. You don’t have to do anything. As long as you keep the blade sharp, and do not let the grass get excessively long, it mulches well.
Watching you go at the leaf bed was so satisfying. Great review bud
Glad you enjoyed it!

Researching push mowers, starting from scratch, can definitely be overwhelming. Glad I could help! And congratulations on your brand new first home!
@@HowtoandReviewsOfficial appreciate it man! Definitely will be watching any future content you put out 👌 keep up the informative reviews

Getting this model soon. Thanks for the useful review.
Glad it helped!
Got my Toro 21465, yesterday. Can’t wait to use it. Great review !!! Thanks !!! 👍🏻👍🏻

Great video! I have this mower and was trying to figure out how the mulching would work. So helpful. Thank you.
Glad it helped!
@@HowtoandReviewsOfficial So you just take off the bag and it mulches automatically? Nice video by the way.
This is the information I've been looking for. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome! Glad it helped!
I just bought one. Are you still using your recycler and pleased with it? Where do you get the blades sharpened and do you keep an extra one on hand ?

Nice review! Just brought one and happy so far.
Nice! Glad it’s working well for you!
Great video! I won't be using the bag this spring or summer.
Just what I needed to know. Thanks!!
Thanks for making this video. Very helpful!!
Awesome, glad to hear you found it helpful!
Good idea running the gas low. Mine has been on order and now it is delayed two days...

Toro, Recycler 22” Smart Stow. 163 cc
Thank you so much
Does the mulching automatically activate while cutting? Or do you go over it twice? Thanks
It always automatically mulches while cutting. The mulching action is the result of the shape of the deck and blade.
best mulching review
Nice! Like you, I was wondering about the capability of the mulch feature.
It does great as long as the grass length doesn’t get out of control. I think the rule of thumb is to cut off a maximum of 1/3 of the total length.

Well, that’s disappointing to hear. I would go back to the snapper. I’m never raking anything!
This particular mower leaves debris when you pull it back, and the air filter is always dirty why is that , not the lightest mower I’ve ever used
Thanks for sharing.

Well, that’s disappointing to hear. I’ve had mine for five or six years, and it’s still working great. I’ve never used the bag.
This is the mean f what a honda mower does.

Want to sell bag
Lol. Maybe I should try to sell it. It’s still in mint condition, and I never plan to use it.
Jesus Christ I don’t need to review I need to know how to make it mulch. How do you turn the mulch on
