We’re only a month and a half in, but I love how it contains so much scripture and writings of the Church Fathers. Just beautiful. Hello. What a great video this week with a little bit of everything!❤. I am doing both the Bible in a year and Catechism in a year with Father Mike, as I am a Catholic Christian. However, Diana and Dawn are two of my favorite UA-camrs too and I love Diana’s inspirational videos on Faith. Your wardrobe pieces are beautiful and my 14 year old daughter and I agree that you are such a beautiful woman. God bless!! See you soon! ❤️🙏🏻
Great video! I’m reading the Catechism in a year with Father Mike Schmitz on UA-cam. It’s wonderful. Thanks so much for all of your wonderful videos! I look forward to them every Sunday.
You are brave in allowing substitutions. Especially fresh fruit and vegetables. Not just from Walmart but any store. I confess to being a bit of a fruit and vegetable snob. When we lived in the country we had a peach and an apple orchard, and our garden space was 50x100 feet square so tons of home raised vegetables. Store bought can't compare, but when I select things myself, I feel I've done the best I could hope for.

Hi Robin - what a fun video today! A little bit of everything. My granddaughter Rachel makes some really good pickled cucumbers and her mother Rebecca make sourdough. Even Jimmy gets in on the act he grows grapes on his back fence and he makes jelly and last weekend he made some deer and pork sausage. Great video, Robin! I am very anxious to try the pickled carrots. That looks delicious. I have been having some GI issues and have considered adding fermented sauerkraut to my diet to see if that would help. I'm going to try these carrots too. And your bible studies sound wonderful. I remember that you do the Bible Recap every year. I have read through the bible in a year using a different program a number of times and it was a great experience. If you are ever looking for a different read through the bible plan to try I can recommend "For the Love of God" by D. A. Carson. There are two volumes and the devotionals are very substantive. Enjoy your study of Revelation! Many years ago I studied through Revelation with Precepts and it was tremendous. Took 2 years but it was tremendous. Ha!
Hello Robin, I like to watch your videos. It helps me be motivated. What do you do with your vegetable scraps like that that you put in a plastic bag? Do you freeze them and use them for soups?
It’s so thoughtful that you try to reply to all comments! I’ve been a Christian all my life, but never really learned about how important Jewish culture was, in so much of the Bible! There are so many things I didn’t understand, or got lost in translation. I’ve been listening to BEMA podcast, which encourages the practice of asking questions as we read the Bible, and digging in from a cultural and historical sense. It’s blown my mind. I’ve learned so much. And I really think it’s enhanced and strengthened my faith, instead of “deconstructing” it, which seems trendy right now. Thanks for your video. ❤
We've been doing something similar with studies from both Jen Wilkin and Kelly Minter. Great Bible teachers! I've learned so much. It's really refreshing in my season of life. Blessings to you as you continue to study His word!
Thank you! I agree that understanding the Old Testament is the only way to truly understand the New Testament. The Bible is God’s story and that’s why I think reading it in chronological order is so helpful. I will have to check out BEMA and I love Jen Wilkins! ✝️💐💗
Hi Valerie! It is the Life Essentials Study Bible. The commentary is excellent! You can find it in my Amazon Store: www.amazon.com/shop/faithandflour 💗 💐💗
Thanks for such a great video! You, along with HIllary from Old World Home, are my go to channels when I need some soothing, calming and hear truths from fellow sisters in Christ. At church, our ladies BIble Study is covering Ruth by Kelly Minter. It's a FABULOUS study! She dives in to the culture, heritage, bringing more understanding of Christ our Kinsman Redeemer as we study Ruth's life. So eye opening! Blessings to you and your family! And thanks again!
I am also doing the Bible Recap w/ Tara-Leigh Cobble for the first time. I noticed how people do it year after year so I bought the book and follow along on her UA-cam and The Bible App - it has been so rewarding.
I like grocery pick up at Walmart. I've only had a few instances where I've had a problem with my order. They have an option at checkout to request bagless, so you can just put them in a box in your trunk. This helps too because you can quickly look through your order to see if there's been some mistakes.
Thank you for this info! I didn't know bagless was an option - I'm going to look for that on my next order. It drives me nuts - I'll get a dozen bags for a small order because they put one or two items per bag!
When I'm making my grocery list, I open up the app for 3 grocery stores near me, comparing prices, it helps me to get the most for our money. I have that same Ball Home Preserving book. I am working my way through the Bible Recap. Thanks for sharing the links to the Revelation study.
I find that Walmart regularly messes up my order. Even if I okay a substitute, the substitute will be wrong..so I've given up on buying groceries from there for pick up and only use it for non food items.
I actually bought a Thomas Nelson NKJV Study Bible. I read 1 pg each morning. It has 1975 pages, so you can imagine how long it's going to take me to read through the whole thing! But that's ok. I also read 1 Chapter each night in my regular Bible before bed.
Hey Robyn, I made easy refrigerator pickles this week, using cucumbers, carrots and red onions. The brine is boiled and then added to the veggies. They are good in the fridge for 2 weeks. Yours is different then mine because they are feremnted. Great video.
Hi Lynn, my recipe is just for 1 quart jar. It’s because it’s only 2 weeks pickles in the fridge. In a saucepan measure 1 cup of white vinegar, 1/4 cup is sugar, 2 tablespoons of salt, I use pink salt and 1 cup of cold water. Bring to a boil until everything dissolves then take of heat. In a jar I add 3 garlic cloves peeled, dill, thyme, black peppercorns and any spice you like. Then I added sliced carrots, cucumbers and red onions to mine. Add the brine it probably won’t go all the way up, but it’s fine. Seal the jar and let cool. Then put in fridge for 24 hours and then you can eat. I don’t pressure can these, but I do still put my jar and lids in boiling water for about 5 minutes to clean them. You can add any veggies you want. But they won’t last for 2 weeks because you’ll eat them quick.😋
I enjoy watching Mary’s Nest and Dawn & Diana…..your outfits and dresses are very nice…love the shoes….I’ve been reading the Bible from cover to cover….I’ve done this frequently….just finished the Old Testament and started the New Testament 2 days ago…..thanks for sharing your world….
I'm listening to Through the Bible with Justin Peters in the mornings and then Precepts Bible Study John. Did Covenant last fall. Really enjoy your videos 😊❤️
Hi Robin, am working through the Bible recap again... also we are studying Women of the New Testament in our study group... very interesting... Have a good week, love from Cornwall xx
Hi Robin, I’m actually doing the same thing that you are doing with regards to Bible study! I’m in my second go around with The Bible Recap for my daily Bible reading and I’m studying Revelation in my Sunday school class with my Pastor on Sundays. We are using Dr. David Jeremiah’s Revelation study for that one. Also, I just ordered the “pickling weights” that you recommended, for my son who is trying his hand at making sauerkraut for the first time! I think these will help tremendously. Thank you for your very informative videos…I really enjoy visiting with you every week! Hugs, Becky
I recently bought myself a new Bible and gave the one I was using previously to a friend who was in need of one. I also bought the Bible Recap to read alongside…and discovered they have a UA-cam channel as well as an app to help in your daily devotional reading. In addition, I am following a Bible study channel called Notes and Hues with Kanoe, who are also following with The Bible Recap… While I have gone to church growing up, my family was what is called now as “Holiday Christians” so I was never in church long enough to go to Sunday school and receive my own Bible. Every thing I learned about the Bible was quotes, or things told to me from other people…as an adult I learned some things on my own, but finding it difficult to understand…so now I am going to learn more by studying from the beginning, as it was meant to be, with help from God and Jesus 😀👍🙏
Hi Robin - Since retiring three years ago and studying the Bible on my own, including reading the Bible cover to cover in 2021, I have just joined an in-person Bible study. This is through Bible Study Fellowship and I meet weekly with other women in my group and we are studying Isaiah. Thanks for sharing your fermented/pickled veggies. They look delicious! Your new additions to your wardrobe look great on you. Take care!
Hi Robin, I just want to say I really enjoy watching your videos and love spending time with you. Thank you for the great tips and inspiration. Sending love from Australia. ❤🙏🇦🇺
Thanks for another great video, and the variety of topics you covered. Usually, I do the Chronological Bible read through, this year I'm doing the Grace for the Moment Daily Bible with devotional writings by Max Lucado. I'm also doing our church's Women's Bible study and we are doing the book of Genesis. It's a very in-depth study that a group of women write and even other churches in the area use these lessons. I always get a lot out of it.
♥️ I love the savings I find at Walmart. It really is great; between Aldi and Walmart, the savings can really be worth it. I often go to both in the same day. I think I will give the pickles a try…I think my husband and son would enjoy those. I have done refrigerator pickles, so I’d love to see how they like these. And I always enjoy your outfits; I really liked all of your choices! Very pretty. Im looking forward to putting away my sweaters soon, and getting my spring clothes into rotation! I feel the spring air trying to roll in, it wont be long now! May God bless your week Robin! ☀️🥰♥️~ Audrey
I'm doing a lady's study on heaven. We doing it thru the Bible. I'm enjoying it so much. Loved your new wardrobe pieces Robin. You always look so neat and well put together. Be blessed friend.
Hi. I've started with the Bible Recap this year for the first time and so far I am enjoying it SO much. Thanks for the other links regarding Revelation.
I enjoyed hearing about what you're doing for your weekly Bible study, Robin. I am currently completing a study on the first book of Samuel (Precept Ministries, Kay Arthur). I love the Precept studies because they are a little more in-depth and are great at challenging you to apply what you are reading to your own life situations and struggles. They are a bit more work, as each day can take up to an hour or so but at this stage of my life (retired), I certainly have the time! Then, on Thursday mornings, I meet with a small group of ladies for another Bible study. While we usually do something more detailed, right now we are simply watching our Sunday sermon online (a study on I Corinthians) and then having a time of discussion from a pre-prepared list of questions. It's a great time of fellowship, sharing, and praying for each other's needs. I have been meeting with these ladies for years. Also, thanks for sharing some of the new pieces to your wardrobe! I've decided to 'spring' for a pair of white jeans this season! Our weather has been unusually warm and green this year, so I'm hopeful that Spring really is just around the corner. Have a great week!
My church does a reading through the Bible in a year program, which I'm following. In Sunday school all the classes, from kindergarten to adults is doing an intense study of Revelations which I'm really enjoying. With everything that's going on in the world now this book is very appropriate. I attend a fundamental Baptist church that uses the KJV Bible.
My husband and I read a Psalm and a chapter of Proverbs each day together, in the morning in TPT. When we get through the book of Proverbs by the end of the month, we will go to the book of Colossians, also in TPT.
That's great Diana! If you have a chance to read the Bible in a chronological format I highly recommend it. It really helps to understand the Bible as a complete story. I love it! 💗 💐💗
I have been doing BSF-Bible Study Fellowship for many years. This year we are doing People of the Promise II and are in Isaiah right now. I also am doing a couple study and we are starting Acts next week. Thank you for your channel an especially cooking information,
Great preserving foods and recipes. Everything looked great on you. I added two 32-yard skirts to mine. First house I wanted is no longer available. Found two more options. One is a little higher priced and one is lower priced.
Hello Robin, I enjoy your videos so much. It's so nice to connect with other believers. My husband and I are doing the Bible recap as well this year. We're both really enjoying it. Blessings to you and your sweet family.
Hi Robin!! I am reading and studying the New Testament this year. Always enjoy reading about the testimonies of Christ's disciples as they share their experiences with our Savior. It strengthens my own testimony.
Hi ! I know you usually don’t make that type of video but I would love a video on how to make your home more « secure » how to store passwords, where to keep important files etc!
I have been eyeing Vivaia shoes for awhile because you have shared them several times. I haven’t been able to afford them new, but found a brand new pair for $5 at the thrift store!! So excited! ❤
Thank you for another great video Robin. I know you like Noemi from Scandish, she ferments vegetables too, I thought she did it because its a Hungarian thing to do, I've never known anyone to do it and I was wondering what you would serve them with or are they a snack on their own. See you next time, God Bless 🙌
Hi Linsey! They are traditionally made here in America too - kind of a lost art. They are good served just as you would pickles, sort of a condiment or side dish. 💗💐💗

And those cute shoes - bees are your new mascot!😉I purchased a "new to me" (thrifted) yellow jacket this week. I never wear bright colors but it just screamed "happiness" to me. Hopefully I'll look like a happy honeybee in it🤣I do the daily devotional from In Touch Ministries but I'm going to check out Dawn and Diana too - they are great! Have a great week!
Thank-you for reviewing your bible study routine with us.. I'll be sure to check out those sermons and give them a listen! Thanks for the recipes on the carrots and cucumbers, Your ideas are the best! Thank-you so much !
Great video, Robin! Your wardrobe is lovely! For Bible study this year, I am listening to the Daily Audio Bible Chronological. A mother/daughter team alternate weeks reading the Bible chronologically and give a short commentary afterwards. I also have a devotional I read each morning. Have a wonderful week! ❤️
Since you ask us on our reading the bible schedule this is really working for me at this time. I have in the past done the schedule of reading the old and new testaments each day where you read in both of them and it takes a year. Then probably a couple of years ago I just started slowing down and I meditate and read more slowly letting it sink in. Some times I go back and reread what I did the day before and reading it more slowly. I just love it this way for a daily change from when I was younger. I now take the time to look up scripture that I need to have a better understanding of. My life has slowed down now and I am blessed to take my reading slower. Hope this makes since and helps someone out there. Loved the video today and the wardrobe was beautiful. Have a good week. God Bless You and Family and your viewers.
Hi Melody! I have also read through the Bible using that format. It was great and I enjoyed it very much, but if you haven’t already done so, I’d like to encourage you to try reading through using a chronological format. It really helped me to understand how everything fits together and see the Bible as a complete story. 💗💐💗
That is interesting, 'Tearless' onions. I know that if you refrigerate your onions, when you need one chopped in a recipe, a refrigerated onion will Not produce tears or make you 😢 cry.

Hi Robin! What a lovely video with a little bit of everything! I would love to do more fermented foods, and I successfully did sauerkraut once. I loved it, but my husband, not so much! That was disappointing! I loved what your showed us of your winter wardrobe, and you do look lovely in everything. You are really a beautiful woman! I don’t do Bible Recap, but I do read, meditate and pray with God’s word each morning. I saw that many people commented that they watch Father Mike’s videos. I have watched a few of his videos and found them very interesting. I think I will watch his videos on “Catechism in a year”, because I only read parts of my catechism so far, and I find it important to know the basis of my Catholic faith. But what is the most important to me is developing and nourishing a personal relationship with Jesus! I’m always interested to learn how people do that, whatever their “type” of Christian faith may be, and I love to connect and exchange about Christian faith with believers! I love your videos where you share your faith, and I would certainly be interested to see more! Have a great week! God bless you! 🙏🌹💕
Thank you Monique! I agree completely - the most important thing is developing a relationship with Jesus and spending time with Him everyday in the Word! 👍 💐💗

I know!!! We have a very good curbside service at our local HEB land it is a game changer! 👍💐💗
I don't have any sound 🔊 to the video.
Hi Debra! Is it possible to try a different device? It it working for me and for others, so you might need to adjust your settings. 💗💐💗
🇳🇱🌷🌷🌷🙋🏼♀️
Thank you! 💗💐💗
Hello Robin, I like to watch your videos. It helps me be motivated. What do you do with your vegetable scraps like that that you put in a plastic bag? Do you freeze them and use them for soups?
Thank you Tami! Yes- I save vegetable scrapes and use them when making bone broth. 👍💐💗
@@FaithandFlour ok thanks
Can I get your recipe for broth?
✝️💐💗
Robin can you tell me the exact name of the Bible you use. Can you post a photo . I love the layout ❤
Hi Valerie! It is the Life Essentials Study Bible. The commentary is excellent! You can find it in my Amazon Store: www.amazon.com/shop/faithandflour
💗 💐💗
That's a good idea
Hi Wendy! I didn’t know about the bagless option. That’s great! Thank you and God bless! 💗💐💗
I’m not sure I’m totally sold on their curbside either and our local HEB has consistently better produce, so we’ll see! 🤷♀️😄💗
I actually bought a Thomas Nelson NKJV Study Bible. I read 1 pg each morning. It has 1975 pages, so you can imagine how long it's going to take me to read through the whole thing! But that's ok. I also read 1 Chapter each night in my regular Bible before bed.
That’s awesome Wendy! 👍🙌💐💗
Hey Robyn, I made easy refrigerator pickles this week, using cucumbers, carrots and red onions. The brine is boiled and then added to the veggies. They are good in the fridge for 2 weeks. Yours is different then mine because they are feremnted. Great video.
Oh, sounds good! Do you have a recipe to share?
@@Janice_1979_ Thank you so much! I will be doing this!
@@Lynn-tz3cp no problem take care
I love this! Thank you both and enjoy!!! 👍 💐💗
Thank you Carolyn! 💗💐💗
I'm listening to Through the Bible with Justin Peters in the mornings and then Precepts Bible Study John. Did Covenant last fall. Really enjoy your videos 😊❤️
Thank you Rebecca! 💗💐💗
Hi Robin, am working through the Bible recap again... also we are studying Women of the New Testament in our study group... very interesting... Have a good week, love from Cornwall xx
Sounds wonderful Janice! 💗💐💗
Hugs, Becky
Wonderful Becky! I love David Jeremiah! 💗 💐💗
I recently bought myself a new Bible and gave the one I was using previously to a friend who was in need of one.
I also bought the Bible Recap to read alongside…and discovered they have a UA-cam channel as well as an app to help in your daily devotional reading.
In addition, I am following a Bible study channel called Notes and Hues with Kanoe, who are also following with The Bible Recap…
While I have gone to church growing up, my family was what is called now as “Holiday Christians” so I was never in church long enough to go to Sunday school and receive my own Bible.
Every thing I learned about the Bible was quotes, or things told to me from other people…as an adult I learned some things on my own, but finding it difficult to understand…so now I am going to learn more by studying from the beginning, as it was meant to be, with help from God and Jesus 😀👍🙏
That’s wonderful! I’m so glad you found the Bible Recap! It really is life changing! 💗💐💗
Take care!
Thank you Carol! 💗💐💗
Hello Robin. Thanks for the podcast. I am studying the minor prophets at the moment and am using Mark Dever's book "The Message of the Old Testament".
Wonderful Pamela! That sounds great!👍 💐💗
Hi Robin, I just want to say I really enjoy watching your videos and love spending time with you. Thank you for the great tips and inspiration. Sending love from Australia. ❤🙏🇦🇺
Thank you so much Mary! 💗💐💗
Thank you Marian! That sounds wonderful! ✝️💐💗
Thank you Audrey! 💗💐💗
I'm doing a lady's study on heaven. We doing it thru the Bible. I'm enjoying it so much. Loved your new wardrobe pieces Robin. You always look so neat and well put together. Be blessed friend.
Thank you Carol! 💗💐💗
Hi. I've started with the Bible Recap this year for the first time and so far I am enjoying it SO much. Thanks for the other links regarding Revelation.
That’s great Marleen! I’m glad you love it too! He’s where the Joy is!
✝️💐💗
Thank you Joan! I have done several Precepts studies and loved them too! So good!!! 💗💐💗
That's great Cynthia! 👍 💐💗
Thank you for your channel an especially cooking information,
Wonderful Clara! Thank you and God bless! 💗💐💗
Great preserving foods and recipes. Everything looked great on you. I added two 32-yard skirts to mine. First house I wanted is no longer available. Found two more options. One is a little higher priced and one is lower priced.
Thank you Jean! 💗💐💗
Hello Robin, I enjoy your videos so much. It's so nice to connect with other believers. My husband and I are doing the Bible recap as well this year. We're both really enjoying it. Blessings to you and your sweet family.

What do you put your Turmeric in? ... I've never used it but bought some because it's good for arthritis.
Hi April! I use it mostly in curries and soups. We love it and it does have great health benefits. 👍💐💗
Hi Robin!! I am reading and studying the New Testament this year. Always enjoy reading about the testimonies of Christ's disciples as they share their experiences with our Savior. It strengthens my own testimony.
Awesome Peggy! So good!!!

Hi ! I know you usually don’t make that type of video but I would love a video on how to make your home more « secure » how to store passwords, where to keep important files etc!
Thank you Anna! I will see what I can do. 😉💐💗

I started The Bible Recap this year based on your suggestion and I am loving it!
That is awesome! He's where the Joy is!!! 💗 💐💗
I shop online at Walmart and have groceries delivered. If ever they give you the wrong product or a substitute you don't like, you can get a refund very easily online, and you don't have to return the unsatisfactory items.
Thank you! I didn’t think about that - very helpful! 💗👍🙏
I pickled spicy beets and carrots for the first time this year and canned them for shelf stability. Love them both
Sounds yummy! 💗💐💗
I’m following The Bible Recap again this year. I enjoy looking for my, “God shot” every day!
Me too Sylvia! 👍🙌💐💗
The Walmart brand gluten free chocolate chip cookies are good tasting plus price is good too!
Thank you Kathryn! 👍💐💗
What a great pickle packed video of great info!😀The bone colored jeans look amazing on you!
Thank you Kris! I am definitely into bees currently! 👍😄🐝 I bet you look amazing in your new jacket - if it makes you happy that will show! 💛
Thank-you for reviewing your bible study routine with us.. I'll be sure to check out those sermons and give them a listen! Thanks for the recipes on the carrots and cucumbers, Your ideas are the best! Thank-you so much !
Thank you Holly! 💗💐💗
That sounds great Rhonda! I’ll have to look for them. I think the chronological format is amazing! God bless! 💗💐💗
Thank you for the lovely video! ❤ I‘d be so interested to see your sourdough routine for caring for your starter.
Thank you Daisy! 💗💐💗
Loved this video. Could you please provide an update in the future? My kitchen is cold too and I have been hesitant to try! Thank you 😊
Thank you Elizabeth! I will update you soon. 👍💐💗
I’m doing The Bible Recap for the first time.
Yay Darla! He’s where the Joy is!

Inspiring video, Robin! Thank you!!
Thank you Melissa! 💗💐💗
Beautiful video! Thank you. I love all your outfits.
Thank you! 💗💐💗
Great haul! The bible study sounds great I’ll have to check it out 😊have a blessed week 😊
Thank you Chantelle! 💗💐💗
Hi Robin! You look so gorgeous in the blue winter dress! Thank you for another fun video. 😊❤
Thank you Mia! 💗💐💗
I am doing the Bible Recap, but I need to do better though. I need to come up with a set time and stick with it.
That's a good strategy Sherry! If you get into the habit I know you will be so glad because it's truly life changing!

Hi Robin, what is the exact name of the large Bible you show, that has the blue highlighted blocks in Revelation?
Hi Harriet! It is the Life Essentials Study Bible and you can find it in my Amazon Store: www.amazon.com/shop/faithandflour?ref=ac_inf_hm_vp

That is interesting, 'Tearless' onions. I know that if you refrigerate your onions, when you need one chopped in a recipe, a refrigerated onion will Not produce tears or make you 😢 cry.
I’ve heard that too, but never tried it. I’ll do that the next time I get a strong batch. 👍😄🧅💗
@@FaithandFlour it really does work. I've tried it. Something about the cold temperature keeps the gasous onion fumes from effecting your eyes. Unless you Want to have a good 😢 cry, then go ahead and chop that room temperature onion. 😀
@@FaithandFlour Yes! Thank you for understanding what I was trying to say with difficulty because talking about faith is a delicate and complex subject, and because my limited knowledge of the English language becomes an obstacle preventing me from expressing clearly what I mean! 💗💖🙏
