Good fishing, but I would have thought that a net around the gunwale of the boat would stop the one that got away . Also that deck seems to be too littered for that type of fishing. My experience is that keeping the water bubbling with the engines running seems to excite the fish following and the fish will bite at any shiny object which in this case in an unbarbed hook so that the fish will release itself on landing on deck. It seems that there were some good size fish at 1:39 which seems to have got away and at one time it appeared to be very very large catch.
Anyway it was my quest to become a deck hand on the nesei. My family operated an aku boat from haleiiwa. Tons of skills in this feild. Trust me. Hope. to be on the c rew oneday. Aloha, Robin mark

I remember growing up there was about 8-10 of these boats catching bait in front of my house! Kaneohe bay! Those was the best day’s growing up
