This song stops me in my tracks, every time I hear it. We operate in fear not knowingly so often. Your song is another reset " button " . When ever I hear your song , I can't believe that I'm worried about the thing that I'm worried about ( right now that could be alot ) . Blessings
on my way home from work, I listened to this song on the radio and I said wow there is a powerful message on this song, just what I needed to hear in the middle the things of what Im going through right now and I said, as soon as I get home I'll try to play it on my guitar and here I am.
I love this song and learning it now. It's been stuck in my head the last couple weeks as my wife plays it in the truck. Thank you so much brother for teaching me this great encouragement to share with others. You have a new subscriber from North Carolina.
Josh, what an absolutely anointed and meaningful song!!! May the LORD continue to bless you with the gift and anointing! So glad to see you personally teaching the song! A pleasant surprise I wasn't expecting! :-)
Thank-you kindly, really appreciate your time, the anointed Beautiful songs, and Singers showing us our way Home...and very helpful for playing on12 strings.🙂 God Bless!
Absolutely Love it Josh😇 This song has been really dear to me my wife is battling cancer, and the first time she played it for me i just had to learn it. I like this version best without the capo etc. So happy to be able to play it for her ! God Bless You 🙏 #MyFearDoesn'tStandAChanceWhenIStandInYourLove🙏😇😇☝☝
The ones still needing The Lord. Perfect opportunity to pray for them. At least they arrived for a moment to hear what they will need later. That was me 28 yrs ago. Now, I help lead worship because Jesus saved my life.
Great video my brother, this was my first praise and worship song that I’m learning on the guitar and I look forward to other videos to learn more praise and worship subscribed now

Some are struggling with Bethel, Hillsong, Elevation music since their Doctrine has come into question. Salvation can be lost, Women Pastors, and not recognizing homosexuality as sin (at least not publiclly) cessation of tongues, prosperity preaching, is there more? I honestly don't know what to think of it all. Scriptures are quoted in every demonination as statements of faith and why they believe what they believe. Being pressured not to use certain songs because of the church/artist associated with it will not only profit financially, but FEAR that it could possibly lead someone down the wrong path. Because of the controversy, I've stepped down in my role picking music for worship in our church because of this. Let Teachers teach, Servants serve, leave the leading to the Leaders.
All of Josh's "C" chords are actually C/G chords. Is that what he plays with a band, or is it because its broken down for this video and he needed more bass?
A lot of people add in the bottom G when they play C chords, just because it adds an extra note from the chord to fill out the sound a tiny bit more. It just technically turns it into the 2nd Inversion of C. Or C/G like you said, if you wanna think of it that way.
So I don't really understand the G chord. It sounds COMPLETELY different on my guitar. I'm self-taught so I have no idea what I'm talking about. Is this standard tuning or....? I don't know if I change tune of guitar for this song
Self taught as well. Keep at it! It's standard tuning. Honestly, you don't have to play the chords identically. As long as you can play a G chord normally, use that. And same with C or however you play it. The F chord is vital here because you can transition between, G C F and Am without having to move (in my case my index finger) almost the entire song. Simplify the playing and it'll sound great!
Ruth: Me too! I can play the chords but I need more details like how many strums of each chord to play and how the words align with the chords. Really frustrating to have to try to figure this all out as a person who has been playing for just over a year!
@@PMCraig I've been playing for about 17 years now. Just take your time, it's hard to start. Just practice and have patience. Start with strumming the chords a single time, don't worry about strumming. Just learn the chords and transitions. (Trust me, his breakdown is MUCH simpler than some other ways you could play this) Once you have the chord fingerings down, learn timing for changing chords. Start there. Learning strum patterns takes some work. The honestly, just feel the song and Spirit flowing through you as you play. That's honestly the best way. Feel the music and it'll come!

Hi
It could save me and others a lot of time if you could include the strumming pattern.
Does anyone know the correct strumming pattern? Love this song!

@@essentialworship Could you please help me with the strumming pattern?
@@drekcole Hi Derek! There's quite a bit of syncopation in this song, but this might help as a base: vv v^v^vv

What's guitar he use?
How does the strumming go
One 👍= one video
Great song and lyrics man, just can't work out the strumming pattern ;)

How is he playing that G chord? Can't tell
Is he muting the low E string when he plays the C chord instead of just not strumming it?
Is the 6th string muted or strummed when playing the F chord?
Muted when you play the F shape he's using. It wouldn't be muted if you're playing as a barre.
So I don't really understand the G chord. It sounds COMPLETELY different on my guitar. I'm self-taught so I have no idea what I'm talking about. Is this standard tuning or....? I don't know if I change tune of guitar for this song

Also, when he moves his finger on the G in verse, don't. Just leave it there and it makes it easy to strum through
How's the strumming pattern broken down through the chord progression ?
Hi Grant! There's quite a bit of syncopation in this song, but try this: vv v^v^vv
