    I love the idea of making jewelry from recycled plastic and it not going to landfill. After participating on the IG post I went and looked at Jing's store and it's all so pretty! Thanks for the new vocab words!

    I can't stress enough how useful is to have the finnish and english subtitles in paralel, together with you speaking and modulating slowly. As always, great work, kiitos paljon!

    i would like to see videos about songs, like ikkunaprinsessa - Ville Vallo and The Agents and songs like that, to know more about them from someone who speaks the language fluently, the context etc, also looks like something is missing in the translation, i think people will like to see you singing also xD

    I am at a very basic level in my learning of Finnish and one thing I am really struggling to understand is the differentiation between onko / oletko when asking a question. Are you hot/are they hot...and what the correct response would be on or olen. Im probably missing something very simple :) Really love your videos !!

    • @bigscarysteve
      @bigscarysteve 2 роки тому

      Olenko kuuma? Olen kuuma. Am I hot? I am hot.
      Oletko kuuma? Olet kuuma. Are you hot? You are hot. (singular "you")
      Onko hän kuuma? Hän on kuuma. Is he/she/it hot? He/she/it is hot.
      Olemmeko kuuma? Olemme kuuma. Are we hot? We are hot.
      Oletteko kuuma? Olette kuuma. Are you hot? You are hot. (plural "you")
      Ovatko he kuuma? He ovat kuuma. Are they hot? They are hot.

    You didn't have to tell me you were unfamiliar with the word "brooch." I could tell by the fact that you were mispronouncing it. It's actually pronounced exactly the same as the word "broach," despite the spelling. ;-)

    Spelled brooch, but pronounced broach, as in coach.

      Haha yeah it’s clearly a new word for me. One reason I like finnish is you don’t have these kinds of toubles haha

      Helmikuu

    • @KatChatsFinnish
      @KatChatsFinnish  2 роки тому

      Yes! One theory says that "helmikuu" got it's name from the ice pearls "jäähelmi" on tree branches that sometimes appear during February :)
