I left my tech career 20 years ago to start a coffee business because of my love for the people, places, and cultures that coffee introduced me to. I am excited to share this journey with you as we explore the world of coffee.
I loved the segment on the ballet students. The sentiment of "I may not be able to change what is going on in your life, but I can walk with you" is so powerful! You hear on the news about all the troubles in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. Here is a woman making a difference in her students' lives. Thank you, Angelino's, for your generous donation. This was such a beautiful and touching video. I have been buying Angelino’s coffee for several years. I knew it was a family owned business, but to see a glimpse of the love between you and your father and your generous heart was truly uplifting. I also found it interesting to see how carefully the beans are picked (three times!) and processed. I’m looking forward to seeing future videos and learning more about the process from bean to what I take for granted in my cup every morning.

One of the reasons I started purchasing Angelino's coffees was the fact that this company is family owned, supports other small business farmers & how they traveled the world looking for the best coffee beans. I mean I could go on & on but after seeing this video I am in awe of you! Love how your family truly cares about people & the passion you have for all things beautiful in life. My husband is a lover of good quality coffee but as a Vietnam Veteran and 77 year old we have to budget and he wanted me to keep buying a major retail case of coffee but I saw your ad on website and I decided to place an order. Boy am I glad I did! But I insisted on him trying your coffee which was a bit over our budget but he loves it and I continue to order it for him. He’s my better half, a wonderful husband, a great step father to my son Joseph Bordonaro who lost his own father, my first husband. He do deserves the sweepstakes but if you’d ask him he would most likely say give it to someone else. He loves your coffee and that is his one pleasure in life. It did my heart and soul good to hear the Angelino's message of interconnectedness. My church community in Arizona works with local independent coffee farmers across our border. At various times we visited their family and community run coffee plantation and we have sponsored their visit to our community in Arizona as we have an evening of coffee and pastries and music and fellowship under the stars. We find we can take and give pleasure, hope, economic support and promote social justice while enjoying the fruits of others labor and build a tapestry of community across borders like the Angelino family. A strong cup of Moka Java mixed with a nice bourbon and a couple other ingredients make a very nice gravy like sauce for a smoked pork dish.

This is a wonderful and heartwarming story of one man and his dreams. Inspired by the love and connection he had with his Dad from a very early age. Kirk continued to follow those dreams even after his father had passed. The places he visited and the incredible, driven, people he met along the way, I found to be not only interesting but phenomenal in all the ultimate assistance that was given to all those coffee growers.
I am new to Angelino’s coffee, and am so grateful to my friend who introduced me to it. Now each day while I enjoy my first cup, it will make me more aware of how much has gone into this entire process and how it started with the love and shared dreams of a young boy and his Dad. It doesn’t get any better than this.

I've never seen cupping like that before. It's a very interesting way to try and compare all the difference nuances each coffee has to offer! The ballet school is a lovely nonprofit! She is incredible for helping so much! That whole trip just seems so beautiful on so many levels.

As a child, I went on a field trip to a coffee company. The cupping process there was very mechanical. Four or five men in suits, standing around a giant lazy susan. The cups rotate in and they Slurp. Spit. Write. Next cup. They didn't seem to enjoy the coffee at all. The cupping you did with Adrian was almost like a ritual that transported you to coffee heaven. Then... Miss Christina just took my breath away. That she can use her God given talent to change the lives of those lovely little girls, is incredibly beautiful. I can hardly wait to see where you go, and who you will meet, next.

I've been a subscriber of Angelino's coffee for several years. I was first inspired by the promise of fresh coffee pods at a reasonable cost. Over the years, there have been a few (maybe 3 max) issues, but in every single case, the staff of Angelino's made things right and were always there to insure my subscription was fulfilled accurately and quickly. This video series is a testimony to the man (and family) behind one of the best coffee producers I have ever seen. I loved the whole story but the part that got me the most was what you did for Miss Christine and the children. Not enough people in the world helping the innocent. Children, elderly and animals all need taking care of. I admire Miss Christine for her determination to help these young children and I admire you all for noticing her hard work and what those children mean to her for you all to donate to her cause. It's good that you treasure the gift you Dad was to you. We don't always realize that we carry those time with us because they've shaped us in marvelous ways and willpass down thru generations. We would ask our children as they went out with friends. "Who do you belong to?" They answered; " You and daddy and God." Now we ask our grandchildren, and they say Mommy and Daddy, Ma and Poppie, and God"They know where home is, that safe harbor as they go out like you're doing. Blessed travels to you.

I watched both videos and really liked watching Where coffee takes you. I am 69 soon and work on a horse farm 7 days a week . Not able to go anywhere because of this was real nice to take a trip and see such a beautiful place and such beautiful people. I look forward to watching more of coffee travels, and the people that have a story behind the coffee they grow.

A really great video of family business(es) and the good they do. As a person who works with kids in our church, I can appreciate just how much just a little kindness and loving on a child who may not get it at home can help them grow in their daily lives.

Omgosh yes! This was such an emotional first episode!! Yes, cheers to your dad! The coffee slurps were so funny but the people harvesting with their bare hands and Miss Christine stole the show.

Absolutely Love the video, learning the tradition on how coffee is roasted and tested for the excellence of tradition of family and country in their coffee. I have loved Antigua coffee for the last 30 years, when my roommates parents brought to home from the mission field as a special treat. One of the firsts coffees I ordered from Angelino’s was a Guatemalan coffee that had that marvelous flavor I associate with the coffee at Herb and Judy Billings’ breakfast table. Coffee, good coffee, makes and enriches memory.
We are so glad that we could be a part of those special memories!

This was so wonderful…I can’t wait for the next episode! I think my favorite part was hearing you talk about your father. I lost my father at 28 (30 hrs ago). Not a day goes by that I don’t think of him at least once even to this day. I am so happy that I discovered Angelina’s coffee.
