That is more work for coffee than I knew. But it all pays off when you walk through that beautiful home and look out onto that view off the mountain. That country is beautiful, but I really got a smile on my face when I saw, JUAN VALDEZ!
I'm 63 and grew up with Juan all over the 3 channels we had on our TV. We grew up drinking coffee. I toast to Juan Valdez.
I actually cried at the end, lol! - good tears though..... "All or Nothing" - that really stood out. So young, the dedication is admirable !
The hard work and commitment to producing a superior product is amazing. Coffee lovers rejoice.
The energy of the people throughout the city is compelling. I love that the human spirit prevails!
Coffee isn't just a beverage or an experience. Coffee is life...literally. Thank you for going into these regions and helping these people grow their coffee businesses so others can earn a decent living. We all deserve that. And coffee.
The excitement of meeting entrepreneurs and seeing the dedication to making their delicious coffee and the hospitality and fun.
That first sip... Definitely the best part. The favorite part of my morning, the favorite part of any day. When I have a new coffee to try I go to bed early so that way I can wake up early
Having just retired after43 years with Michelin, a global company with plants all over the world, I have made great friends all over and the one thing in common is we all want to work, provide for our families and have happiness. That is a global trait and coffee from all over is amazing to try and enjoy. I was introduced to Angelino's and that is all I buy and have been hooked every since. The America's have great people and my heart is always there.
Same here! I was introduced to Angelino’s coffee and I thought, “What sorcery is this?! It a burst of dreamy, ideal coffee flavor!” No sorcery- it’s hard work. Now, that’s the only coffee I want. I can only drink Decaf due to my heart, but it tastes just as good as caffeinated.
The extreme fermentation process seems to be the key in producing such great coffee. I'm happy for these two brothers.
It's so gratifying to see the love and compassion Angelino's puts into their coffee production from start to finish.
It is fantastic that Angelino's is willing to help small coffee producers! It makes me happy to support them.
Such an heart warming video right before Christmas! My favorite part was when they were smelling the beans and showed how much they care about their work, and also the end where they were told they would get $50,000 in prepayment plus an automatic pulper. So cool!
The Yuan Valdez statue and his horse, the coffee hero!
Ironic that I was sipping on my Angelino’s coffee as I watched this. Incredible video showing such an intense desire to achieve their dream. The reaction to the proposal for help was such a defining moment that showed the passion of the brothers, so moving!!!
We want you to be able to savor the moment, we are glad you enjoyed the video! Your support means a lot to us!
The processing and dedication made me appreciate my love of coffee even more
I can just imagine how great the coffee smells being that fresh! Everyone needs to see how much time and effort goes into it! 💖💙
Loved how you got to see the locals and knowing that comment that 'Coffee brings people together'. That is so true on many levels.
Coffee truly brings people together! Good luck to the brothers!☕️
It was really impressive to hear that guy at 3:15 picked up to 200 kilos of coffee a day! What a great video this is, and I'm so glad the people of La Sierra are starting to thrive again. And fermented coffee? Man, you learn something new every day...great job on this episode!
Coffee isn’t just coffee. I am sharing this video at my next weekly morning coffee get together with friends. A moment of silence to appreciate all the people and effort that goes into this humble cup of warm enriching substance. Kudos to Angelinos for making this all possible.
You had me at first whiff! Love what this company stands for and respect their dedication and passion for their heritage.☕
I like the dedication of the coffee bean farmers and procurers in a very difficult but beautiful country. It's very heart warming and satisfying, Keep up the great adventures.
I find it so amazing and eye opening that a little bean can change everything globally, the dedication and passion put forth is just wonderful.
There are so many that say “Hey, it’s just coffee”. Well, your video is an awakening. We see that the thoughts and dreams of so many people have brought the fresh and complex Angeleno’s coffees to our homes. The labor required is immense, the teamwork factor is boundless and the risks are frightening. The compassion for each and every worker in this enterprise is representative in this video. Thank you Angelino’s. The best tasting coffee and now, a civically and environmentally friendly company. ❤
brought a tear to my eye to see Christian's response to your generous offer. So many people just need someone with the $$ to believe in them.
I just love seeing the faces of those who bring me my coffee. Knowing that something I enjoy can make someone else thrive
The hospitality of the locals is amazing
Its incredible the amount of work it takes to get the perfect cup of coffee, I won't take that for granted anymore.
My favorite take-away is the reaction from the brothers when they received Kirk's offer of financial assistance. You could see the sigh of relief that they could continue their passion of making great coffee, and in turn have the whole supply chain benefit, especially the farmers. Bravo! Their gamble had paid off.
The thing that touched my heart was when you supported him with the automated pulper and funding up front and seeing his response. It was a dream come true for him and that's what it's all about; people helping people. Thank you again for this.
Unreal how much hard work and commitment the two brothers put in to this. I'm happy to see the island getting stronger. The scenery is beautiful.
I love that there is peace now in this part of Columbia. Also the hand cranking of the beans!
It's amazing seeing how well the Colombian people have recovered from what they went through just a few years go. I thought it was inspiring how they've turned the country around and are now fending for themselves and in the process, developing new techniques in making coffee.
The transformation and resurrection of the Medellin barrio is truly amazing and a tribute to the people living there. Thanks, Angelino's for bringing this story to us.
The Passion and Love was overwhelming. "All or Nothing" tatoo says it all about where his heart is. You have shown them you believe in their dream, and are going to help them make it come true. God bless them and God bless you. So glad to know the Cartel is gone and Peace and joy has returned to such a beautiful region of Columbia. They didn't make it with their wish bone, they made it with their back bone. This whole story is such a blessing to so many people and a blessing to me for being able to watch. Thank you for sharing, now send me some coffee!!!!
I love the fact that they make their own coffee from scratch and it’s a small enterprise not a huge conglomerate. It’s wonderful to see nowadays.
This video has confirmed something that I already knew. Angelinos is by far the best tasting KCup coffee I have tried. As a dedicated coffee lover who now must consume decaffeinated coffee only, I find Angelinos decaf to be the closest taste to a quality cup of non decaffeinated coffee. My wife and I are very dedicated Angelinos customers and this video fully supports our decision.
Coffee that is processed by hand takes 100% dedication and a true passion for the art. Very inspiring! Thank you for sharing!
It has to be made with love. So much goes into it. Beautiful community.
Even with a true love of coffee, it’s amazing how much we take for granted. The small coffee growers do an amazingly hard job just so we can enjoy our cup in the morning.
Very well said! We are so happy to be able to share these stories with you and know that they are making an impact.
Where Coffee Takes You is a great story of how hard work and a great product can lead to success. My favorite part of the video was when the one brother got the translation in Spanish that he was getting an offer to move his coffee business to the next level. His face showed how grateful he was! Thank you to Angelino’s Coffee for making these life changing partnerships.
Who doesn't love coffee. Bless you all for pleasure of the wake-up drink of the day.
The rich culture the generosity of the people. Great video. Glad they now live in a productive safe place.
I watched this episode with my fiancé who loves coffee! My personal favorite part was learning about the level of manual labor that goes into the making of coffee. My fiancé’s favorite part was learning about the two brothers and their story regarding working with coffee.
I am astounded that they ferment the berries for 300 hours. That coffee has to be AMAZING
I LOVED the moment when you revealed your offer to invest and help the brothers by doing preorders to help them upfront. Their beautiful response was priceless! Awesome!
My favorite part was the gratitude of the brother when hefound out they would receive help with their coffee venture. A great reward for hard work.
I loved the part where they were processing the beans by hand. Incredibly hard work. True craftsmanship.
It would be so much fun to travel the world, tasting coffee and meeting people. I loved learning about how the brothers pushed boundaries with the fermentation process. Very innovative!
Love that the young brothers have found their passion and can't wait to taste the Very Berry coffee!
I love the simplicity of Christian and Jonathan's company but how amazing their product is. They put their heart into their small business and doing everything by hand. My favorite part was when they found out that they would be able to cooperate with other growers and farmers to get more of the cherries and other plants that they couldn't get very easily on their own.
I love the fact of how much Passion and Hardwork went into making the coffee. How the land was once known to be full of violence, but now is a area of peace. How 2 brothers went against the grain to make the perfect coffee
Each episode you share with us is amazing. The dedication to making the best coffee possible is incredible. Thank you for sharing your adventure with all of us. We love your coffee and will support these small sellers with you.
Quite a story. Two brothers following their dream and because of Kirk’s passion to research and explore they are discovered and their dream will come to fruition. Heart warming story and another reason Angelino’s is unique and stands above the rest!
It is great seeing how the Colombian culture is recovering from all the pain and suffering that it has gone through. The willingness to work hard, and to figure out a new way to process a product were kind of humbling to watch. It was fun to see the local culture coming out as a community again, without fear in La Sierra. Thanks for the story.
Can’t believe these 2 brothers just kept going because they had the same passion for coffee. What a wonderful story. ♥️
We live in the country near a small town in Michigan, and we always purchase from businesses who believe in helping others. Thank you for being one of these businesses who believe in giving back.
Entertaining story with amazing views and sights. Developing a new fermentation process that can stop short of disaster yet enhance any other fermentation is impressive. The cupping looks like a coffee snobs dream. Bring it home for us arm chair baristas.
There were many favorites, the scenery, the story, the process, especially the cupping experience, but the raw moment in your partnership offer and seeing the expression of joy has to be the #1. I love how you are paying it forward, but most of all I appreciate the quality of your product and that you are all natural.
Loved the relief on their faces when they were told they would be getting an automatic pulper. The tension just melted away from their faces and shoulders!!!
While I love learning about coffee, it’s history and the culture, what amazes me about this episode is the resilience of the people in Columbia and their innovative spirit
What a great story. I can't believe the immense amount of work and dedication required to bring me my favorite drink. I've always loved the Angelino's coffee company for their great products but mostly for their commitment to their customers. This video shows their altruistic nature when they offered such a wonderful gift to these brothers and their small coffee company. I will always be a supporter of Angelino's Coffee...the best coffee company in the world. Way to go guys.
Love the simple interactions with the locals - learning about their lives and struggles.
Kirk, you and your company are nothing short of amazing. I wish there were more like you, helping the workers of the world instead of robbing them blind. Your dad would be so proud. I love traveling with you. I learn so much. I’m glad peace has come to the Medellin area. I hope it lasts. Thank you for bringing love and caring to the world.
It's great to see a place that's torn from war torn land to wonderland. Look forward to tasting their coffee and all the beauty of their country has to offer.
Liked the history of Medellin and the coffee. I am a big history buff and travel buff. Love hearing about new places to explore!
Such hard working brothers! Can’t wait to taste their coffee! So glad Angelina’s has stepped on to help them…bravo!
Learning about this does not surprise me, given the dedication of the son's desire to honor his father's vision! We love our little part by enjoying all the different flavors of Angelo's great coffees! My favorite so far is the Chocolate Raspberry Truffle....and looking to enjoy this new Columbian brew!
I love the fact they are such a small operation but are able to offer such great coffee! Kudos to Angelico’s for finding them to work with!
The way you presented the way they processed the coffee all by hand was not only amazing but at the end where you helped them financially and with a new automated pulper was very touching
It’s wonderful that you are showing the positive of the country when all we are shown in the media is the negatives! Love your coffee!!❤️
So inspiring to see the hard work and dedication that those brothers have.
I almost cry at the end when you gave the good news to the brothers. 🤗🤗
I love you helping these two brothers encouraging them to keep going forward and seeing how apprecitive they were of your help. Looking forward to tasting their coffee at some point
You have to be proud of how much these folks are dedicated to produce a great product
What impresses me is your genuine passion for what you do.
Thank you for sharing your experiences and how these 2 brothers are using their passion to make a wonderful product. The fact that they still hand milling all their product s amazing. Bless you for all your doing to help as many people as you can.
Love what you are doing to help Christian and Jonathon in the dreams to become coffee connoisseurs!
For the love of Coffee! It’s amazing how Christian and Jonathan joined forces from all over the world to create the best coffee plantations where there was once nothing after years of raging war. Together they risked everything they had to grow then ferment their coffee to its fullest in order to produce the best flavored coffee imaginable. An amazing story which is truly inspiring!
The coffee tasting my favorites for sure!!

This truly inspiring presentation sharing the dedication and passion of the Medellin roasters who have found their niche in the world. It is heartwarming to realize I have chosen the best coffee in the world. My taste buds realized this immediately. Supporting a company with a true global perspective in ACTION, not just words. I loved the presentation and a peek into the lives of the Medellin people. Lots of joy, support and love. Thank you for sharing this and producing a truly great coffee.
I was fascinated by the cupping process. It made me realize how passionate the brothers were about their product.
I love how the video combines the passion over coffee with the pride and history of both the company and region in which its grown.
Just amazing how COFFEE can actually bring people together and from all over. I love my coffee 😋
What an amazing story of how a passion grows from the seed of a heart planted in the soil of a war-torn country with perseverance, sweat and tears. Congratulations to these two brothers and thank you Angelino's for giving a helping hand to them and sharing this heartwarming story with us. God bless you and Merry Christmas to all!
Hearing the one brother’s passion about coffee and his tattoo! Blown away by the views above the city, too!
The dedication and passion for having the best coffee beans. It is no wonder that Angelinos coffee is so smooth and good.
Coffee is what brings friends together, and tasting of coffee must be an exciting way to learn coffee. We take your coffee's for granted, and do not appreciate the effort that it took to bring it to us. Particularly from the small and struggling growers.
Who would think that coffee could change your life?! It definitely changed their lives and it changes mine EVERY morning. As I enjoy the aroma and flavor of your amazing cup, I visualize the process and the life changing events that brought this to my kitchen table.
The best part of the coffee is the pleasure it brings on so many different levels--physically, spiritually, and culturally . Thank you for your commitment to the best coffee and to your suppliers.
The last part of the video where the brothers are given such a wonderful boost to their company brought me to tears.
I stumbled upon Angelina's coffee and I'm so glad I did! I enjoy waking up in the morning and having a choice of wonderful flavors of this amazing coffee. I'm so proud of the company that helps small, unknown entrepreneurs in this difficult field of coffee making. Thank you Angelinos for allowing me to watch the small part of your coffee discovery!
Lead me! Guide me! & Inspire me! I love to visit other cultures and see what they do best ,and, love what they do, for the world. I am a 'travelista' , who is curious to know as much as I can about human behavior. I love the coffee and I love the travel videos.
I love how this coffee is all hand processed and I appreciate your love and dedication to coffee and finding the finest.
We appreciate you taking the time to watch this series! Make sure to tune in for more!
A different and beautiful aspect of Columbia and its rich heritage
Truly impressive young entrepreneurs with undefeatable dedication and motivation. They cannot fail!
Enjoy the culture and could imagine all the aroma and adventure
The Two Brothers Christian and Jonathan have developed incredible success with a long coffee bean fermendation process! I'm impressed with their coffee fields and their coffee business! I'm also pleased to learn of the new peaceful nature of the Medellin region!
This story grabbed my heart..what a beautiful land..war torn but it has risen up and produced a perseverance in these brothers that inspire my soul! I LOVE Angelino’s Coffee..and look forward to trying new coffees inspired by this glorious experience and supporting these brothers and the La Serra community ☕️!
I love EVERYTHING Coffee! So my favorite part is the pour over’s into the small cups and the tasting of the pure brew with deep spoons and just sipping this incredible elixer..thank you for sharing this experience with us all!
It's amazing to watch the dedication it takes to create such innovative coffee... fermenting with berries for 300 hours?? WOW! It's so rewarding that Angelino's Coffee gives back to those who work so hard for what they love to do!!!
Loved this story. You take a cup of coffee for grnted and don;t realize what all goes into it. Loved the open market. The variety was amazing.
It’s incredible how much happens between the farm and our cup. It’s so interesting to see the family in Medellin using such hands-on methods of production.
I'm so glad that I found Angelino's coffee. After watching this video, I understand why it's so good. I like how much dedication, time and effort these brothers put into making coffee. The way they help their suppliers is just amazing.
