This is really nice but I wonder if I can use it as a patch bay in my home studio, like flock audio patch system. If not it will be great if you can make a unit like that, that can also offer the same possibilities as the stage box and be to connect it to a mixer a well. Let me know, that's my Christmas wish. I really wish the rack mount mixers would have volume knobs for each channel 😞, plus allow us to record all the channels via the SD Card 😞. I wanted to install this in some small churches where I'm handling the sound at.
drummerboy100jh, it went very well! I had preset some things like monitor mixes, vca groups, etc. That made getting up and running on the gig a bit faster. I did lose connection once, but that is a router issue, not the mixer’s fault.
drummerboy100jh, it was a mini TP link one, but I discovered that it didn’t like being racked up inside the rack with my G70 wireless. That was dropping out as well. Once I moved the bass wireless, the rest of the night was great. I’ve had good luck with that router with my other small digital mixer. That one rhymes with “schmeringer”. Shhhh...
Just bought this based on this video.. Alas i can't get it to work with studio 5.5 very confusing interface is UC surface. I get no sound at all no what i do. I have a sIII mixer which works fine. I was hoping to use this downstairs for minor tracking but alas all my efforts are for not. I can't find any specific videos for using this with studio. Where should i look for help. Thanks btw. I only hear the sound using the Universal Control but nothing when listening back into Studio One. I've been looking all the user's manuals and videos... Can you gain compensate with these in stage box mode? I have a 32sc at FOH, a 32R for a stage box, and would like to put another 32R at our livestream position to get independent gain control.
Can you also control multi tracking straight from Studio One 5 Pro DAW or do you MUST use the Universal Control software? I heard there was Studio One Remote mode. But not sure if you can sync it to the laptop?

You're now nearly 5 years behind Midas, Behringer, Roland and Allen&Heath with a fully digital system from assignable mixers -> vari-sized stage boxes -> distributable personal mixer of 16 or more mixes. Technologically speaking, what innovations are Presonus coming out with that interests prospective users? I STILL can't color code and name channels from mixer to computer to mobile device and have these settings save properly; Music Group has Dugan style auto mixing for 8 channels, A&H has 40 channels of personal mixing; Roland is just... Well they're Roland... At InfoCOMM and NAB what sets PreSonus apart? The A&H GLD Family and Roland M-480 were released in 2011. Both the X32 and the StudioLive families were released 2013. The StudioLive III family is still not at the same level as these mixers and their components.
Always good info on your videos, Question: I just took delivery recently of the StudioLive 32S. I don't seem to be able to get the EQ to work for an input channel. I have set the level for the mic on channel one and engaged the EQ and when I make changes to the different EQ bands, I do not hear any changes to the audio. Not sure why unless somehow I have it bypassed or something else is set incorrectly. The screen shows the EQ curve changing, but again i do not hear any changes in my phones. (I am using phones testing the mixer as it is not hooked up in my studio yet with monitor speakers). Thanks. Phil

Yes it would, but i like the idea of having a mixer built in also with so many features the 16r is 799 the 16 channel beringer snake i got is just the snake with no mixer options on it's own for 699

Connect to amp first then microphone to mixer. Or connect guitar to A Direct box to essentially split the signal into 2 outputs, 1 to amp 1 to mixer. Hope this is what you meant.

Nope the cs18ai is compatible with the first gen rm series. The and on series 3 is completed unlike the the cs18ai that was abandoned. Please vote for the cs18ai to have Hui support on the presonus website.
