i just watched hours of presonus videos about these boards. and i learned more about the board function from this vid, than all the presonus videos combined. thank you.
Yeah, Joe Gilder barely knows how to use it (or even mix for that matter), and just acts like it doesn’t matter. The “Home Recording Made Easy” guy talks too much and uses the worst audio samples, while bypassing the effects at the wrong times. I wish they had a Drew Brashler like Behringer has.
incase wondering why the sound is not changing while he is playing with EQ at 01:23, the default settings on the modules are OFF; which I like, after selecting the EQ, he needed to hit "ON" on the left panel where he hit EQ.. so every module has to be selected and turned on. Just wanted add. incase someone trying along, not to find a mistake.. I like the video and appreciate it.
I got this console for our church and absolutely love it. Presonus is constantly releasing updates to improve it, and unlock more features. The UC Surface software is also released for Samsung tablets or phones.
Link audio thanks for the video. Will you be posting more videos about the mixer capabilities? I am considering this desk for our church but none of our music stores have one yet to test.
Hi Jared, at this stage, this will be the only video we will be doing on this mixer as we have so many other products to cover. We are here to help though, so if you want to talk to us about your wants and needs, please feel free to visit our website - www.linkaudio.com.au and contact us via email or phone.
I’m still using the 1st gen 16.4.2 I like the new system. Good features. Good layout. Good workflow. Having said that I’m leaning towards the A&H Qu=16 for my next mixer
is the 4 band EQ enough to manage feedback frequencies without being too muffled? i.e. If you're running sound for a group whose singers keep forgetting to NOT point the mic at the speakers while dancing around
I just took delivery of the 32S version. I cannot get the effects to be audible. Not sure why I cannot get the effects to work. Any suggestion what I may have set incorrectly? Also....How also, do I assign what channel/fader the FX will return from? Say I wanted to use fader #32 as an effects master for the reverb return, how do I assign fader 32 for that function? Thanks. Philip
Dude get one.......I was a bit apprehensive at first, took me a couple of days to get in to it but believe me it’s superb and sounds awesome. I’ve had a lot of analogue desks, my first digital one now and I would not go back. Take the plunge, it’s worth it.👍
Hi! I love your tutorials. Question: Is it possible to route input line 1 on my mixer to record on input 5, with changing the cable? I have Studiolive 32s III
Hey, I think that you're bored is a lot better than that Behringer board. Because it gives you a lot of features and you get a lot of customization far as channels that you can use. I was going to ask how much does it cost? Like for 32 Channel?
Does the 32 come with Studio One Pro as it does in the US? also have they sorted out opening up their DAW control up to "HUI" or is it still just for Studio One
Two questions about the presonus Studiolive 32 mixer series 3 model, how do you record more than one track and then save what I've recorded to a disc. question#2, how can I erased the disc if I am not pleased with my tracks? Please help ASAP!!!!
When you say disc you're referring to a CD correct? There is no way to burn audio to a CD directly from the mixer. You can multi-track record using the sd card, usb, or avb- getting the audio onto your computer. From there you can mixdown the multitrack and burn it to a CD.
@@officialWWM I thought it can go for 32 its just that you have to flip the pages no? And whatever is external is rack mountable 32+ channels with the 24R live rack or box etc
@@officialWWM Oh that's unfortunate. But at least it gives you the option to extend which is great considering it is highly portable and small. The other mixers are pretty large and space consuming. I'm pretty sure if one needs to use all 32 ch can affordably rent the box no?
This looks like a board from the 90s, they should make something more modern and sleek. the colors make it look so fruity. ( make perhaps a space grey or black) Take a look at SSL boards, or neve & pro-tools-s6 ... and compare with this
Looks lie a good board overall, and a lot of bang for buck. However even though it's called "Studiolive", it appears a bit more optimized for live or FOH work vs a dedicated studio/recording setting. Specifically if your intension is mixing for any type of surround/film score work.
Not sure I agree with that. The USB connection makes it fully integrated with your DAW and that was the main goal in making this board if I’m understanding the engineers from Presonus correctly.
IS THERE ANYWAY YOU CAN MAKE A VIDEO ON SETTING THE STUDIOLIVE 32 UP I GOT THE BOARD BUT THERE IS REALLY NO VIDEOS ON SETTING IT UP WITH CHANNELS GETTING SOUND TO COME FROM SPEAKERS IM NEW TO THIS MIXING THING AND I DO SEE VIDEOS BUT NOT LIKE SETTING IT UP NOT EVEN WITH STUDIO ONE 3 I CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO SET MY CHANNELS UP TO GET SOUND PLEASE HELP MAYBE YOU CAN HELP THANKS I WILL SUBSCRIBE WITCH IS DONE ALREADY BUT I HOPE TO SEE MORE VIDEOS WITH YOU SETTING UP THE STUDIOLIVE 32 MIXING BOARD THANKS AGAIN.
BCBKingAce I see that you posted this a couple months ago. Hopefully you're up and running by now. Have you checked out the Home Recording Made Easy channel? I believe he has all sorts of videos, including his unboxing, and setting up his mixer with Studio One.
The intelligent human being who designed this model forgot to put inserts in each channel. The person also forgot to place at least 4 stereo pairs of auxiliary returns. In short, I will never replace my Presonus 32.4.2 AI for this model. I use "Out of the box" workflow and use external peripherals. Therefore, this machine seems to be just a beautiful all in one video game for kids to stay in the bedroom. Please, back to made products for professional and semi pro use. Moving faders and big displays will not convince me

this is by far the most clear and to the point video for the mixer! luv it
He took the mystery out of the board and now after watching, i feel i'm ready to make a purchase....thank you, you are the best teacher i've ever had.

For the money it can’t be beat. I have had the 32 for a year and I love it. Easiest board for transitioning from analog to digital.
That's good to know...I'm gonna pull the trigger on one in September.
I hear a lot of complaints about reliability, bugs and issues with the mixer tho.. Mind commenting on this?

I have the 16 Love it!
Great video sir ....well done, easy and intuitive.....getting mine on Tuesday so looking forward to using it 👍
Much more intuitive than my Behringer X-32 Producer, which has much menu diving, thus slow to operate in live situations.

I would love to see a review on the PreSonus StudioLive Series III 64S

any studio setup videos available? Want to compare use with x32?
And also the reverb
Nice ...thanks
I need help with learning how to record
how do i used FX on the tablet

None of these mixers come with StudioOne Pro, they all come bundled with StudioOne Artist

Great Console.
2 MIN??? Right
The Studiolive 32 name is very misleading. It only has 16 mic inputs!
32sc 32sx or which one? Just curious
@@Metalpazallteway both I think. I have the SC and technically, it is capable of 32 inputs but you have to buy another piece of hardware to do it!

How would you send effects to an aux on this board?
Select the aux you want to mix to the left, page over to your fx returns and adjust their volume in the aux mix.
What the price of this mix

No WiFi connection.. Must plug in rounter .. Old model does..
Does anyone use this mixer with Protools?
presonus and protool?. always a bad idea
I wish I could afford that piece of gear. Too expensive for a hobby.
