I wouldn't necessarily call BTS a boyband though. Until American media started calling them a “boyband” I never really associated that word with BTS. I mean, NONE of the boybands we’ve seen before in America have underground rappers, pro dancers, vocalists, producers, songwriters, and composers all in one group. On top of that they discuss profound complex issues societally or introspectively... along with having high scale performances with insane fashion and visuals. They really are the whole package yet people assume a lot about them because of the “boyband” and “Kpop” labels. They’re serious artists that are an anomaly of both of their stigmatized labels, and deserve to be known for their true selves.

I don't know how much you know about KOREA (being half Korean) but we are lucky to even have BTS. BTS has never been afraid to speak their minds, even in the conservative/structured Korean society. They are so lucky that they weren't black listed, which other musician were. They have spoken up about the government, the school system, parents, social pressures, Anxiety, Depression, Suicide, lately Jin have even spoken up about other groups feeling the need to cheat on the charts/bundling to gain popularity. They have given ARMY more heart attacks than I can even tell you but then they have given ARMY so much pleasure all in the same breath. They make ARMY proud. Thank you for your reaction.

The deck was completely stacked against them since day one. If you listen to their lyrics, you will hear how it all came together. Especially songs like, Born Singer. BTS does prove that hard work can really take you to the top, oh, and an ARMY.

I’m glad you are enjoying it, I would recommend that you try and do two mvs per week because when it comes to BTS they have a ton of content to get through, not only mvs but there’s also live performances, their dance practices, Run BTS, Bangtan Bombs, the Bon Voyage series and, of course, all the fan made videos of compilations and different aspects of their careers and personal lives and personalities that you will not want to miss. I love watching people discovering this guys’ amazing story little by little and growing to like them for everything that they represent, so please keep it up 👍

I think it would be cool if you reacted (by listening) to the full album after you react to all the MVs from that album in a single video. That way you can really get a sense of all the music from a single album/era all at the same time before moving on to the next one. This is a good idea because all BTS albums have a musical story and share similar themes, and there's generally a timeline progression between albums. So it would be strange to have to go back to earlier songs after reacting to the most current MVs.

Sad fact: it was around this time the company was starting to run out of money and there was debate if the guys could continue to promote. Meaning that there was a scary point that they almost disbanded because of the lack of funds and not getting enough traction from music programs to support them. But they pushed through it and are Kings now!
