- We lost memory cards after day one and had to re-film half of this so sorry if you were in the video and then not / I might have missed some stuff second time as brain was cooked

That was a fun event. Glad you found our hidden DIY OpenFFBoard setup. Might have looked a bit messy with the wires because we had to change rigs last minute but it was all safe of course 👍

THose little integrated wireless Logitech keyboardand trackpads are the absolute GOAT for SimRigs! They are EVERYWHERE at the Expo. Where would we be without those little grey lifesavers. They seem to last forever on a set of batteries too

I can highly recommend going inverted on pedals. Switched mine a couple months ago now and instantly the pedal application felt more natural and easier to modulate.

This video does absolutely no justice to how loud that LMP3 car was!. Great coverage as always. Saw you running around on sunday, I had a blast testing stuff out. I fully expected Simagic and Moza to have their own stands to show off the equipment outside of a rig. But alas.
2:14:30 , "Buttons don't feel that nice" That Cosworth wheel is 8000 euro and basically the real wheel from the car haha. Once again proves that simracers are definitely more picky about the quality of stuff than actual racecar drivers.

I say this with all sincerity mate. I watch a LOT of YT content, and this is by FAR the best video I've watched in 2023! No cap. Excellent EXCELLENT coverage bro. You went to bat for those of us who couldn't make it and made it feel like we were there, taking the tour with you. All the other SimRacing Expo vids I've watched were good but too short, so having a long form vid like this is a breath of fresh air. Again, sincere thanks for this amazing vid mate. You've gone above and beyond the call of duty with this one. Looking forward to next year's tour :)

I agree with your comment on the amount of motion IF using static monitors. However, I find a large range of motion with VR and motion compensation provides a great sence of g-forces

The second rig reminds me of my Voron printer but with a seat instead of a print head* on it.
Had an Acelith rim a few years back for the t300rs. Worked fantastic. Was a McLaren gt style rim.

I love simracing, as well as simflying. Has anyone ever done or seen anyone DIY a 4080 frame rig with both a steering wheel & pedal set, and a flightstick & throttle set? Two kinds of controls on one rig. I'm thinking of doing that so I don't need to switch the controls out when I feel like playing a different sim.

Many of them rigs just not practical for my disabilities, but thats fine, not getting shins smacked 🤣🏆

What were those GT Rigs that the GT-DD pro was installed on? Are those Fanatec sim rigs?
I really hate comfort and sports tires. There will be more traction in race a then race c. Weeks like this makes me take out the gt7 disc and insert gt sport. Laguna seca has the traction I need.

What are the buttkicker seat mounts on the SimSwitch rig around 1:49:24 ? Are those part of the rig itself or purchasable independently compatible with t-slot rig? That would be an awesome product.
butkicker has been doing transducers for decades , can put them on office chairs or annything , cheaper to just use your own with simhub though.
@@GamerMuscleVideos I was referring specifically to the special seat mount /side brackets that includes additionally mounting points for the buttkicker
