*Fact* : According to Shiro SAGISU's liner notes, he compared《the way of life》with his previous piece《Famously…》from Evangelion:3.0 as if《Famously…》was like a requiem,《the way of like》is contrastingly a cheer for Shinji. SAGISU also poetically described the lyrics that; it's a cheer, which Instead of saying "Do your best!", you will hear a support saying, "You are fine as you are, just the way you are." It will make you feel more and more at peace. No matter what life you lead, being affirmed by others makes humans happy.

Not gonna lie, Shiro carried the Rebuild movies for me.
He did a tremendous job in the OG series and EoE, but he really stepped it up for the Rebuilds.
Not only is it incredibly fitting for the movies, but also absolutely relatable for the audience (speaking for myself at least).
I don’t understand shinji hate, he is most realistic and bravest 14 years old I have ever seen. Shinji fix his own depression after everything he had been through, he gave me hope.

To live is to struggle. Difficulties will come in life as long as you live. Life like a movie doesn't have an ending. That's why Shinji running away with Mari has a more significant meaning. His life doesn't stop when the movie ends but he moves to a new stage. And this time he is not alone, despite all the difficulties that'll come to him, he can now face them with Mari's hand on his hand.
Wow, just wow. Left me speechless. Shiro Sagisu was the best thing to happen to the series. He enhanced and enriched everything to the point I can't imagine Evangelion without him. Even the outtakes are astonishing, making me wish they were included in some way.
The instrumental version of this was included but I actually think the vocal version would've fitted the scene better. The lyrics perfectly match Shinji's emotional progression throughout the film.

Notes:
1.- "La manera de la vida" literally means the way of life, but it doesn´t have the sense we get in English, if we want to give the message of "That´s how life is, where would have to say something like (Asi es la vida) which would mean "That´s how life is" but it would change a lot the way the track would sound
2.- The expression fit of rage doens´t exist as such in Spanish, we always say "Ataques de ira) which roughly translates to Attacks of Rage, hence why I used it.
3.- Saying The highest heights sounds good in English but is rather redundant in Spanish, so the traduction "Las mas altas alturas" seems rather odd.
4.- "Comfort you through" from the last verses, "Through" is used to make emphasis on the idea, but it´s an unecessarty addition in Spanish, so I omiited it on the translation. "Tu corazon siempre te comfortara" "Your heart will always comfort you through"
5.- The expression Fall From Grace as in Lucifer falling from the heavens doesn´t appear as such eighter, so it would lack the biblical meaning in Spanish (Caer de la gracia).

This song is literally Misato's talk to Shinji before she died in _EoE_ set to music.
Such a great way to start off 2022 S2P! I've been busy so I haven't typed any new lyrics translation but is good to see somebody else could do it for this one. I think this might be my favorite track from 3.0+1.0, I just love how it reminds me of some of Nino Rota's works as well as a bit of Who Will Know from the Shin Gojira OST.
