This is a very timely message from you guys.
My son asked me why I spend so much time with him doing baseball practice.
I let him know it’s because I value the time we have together because I didn’t get that time with my dad. I want to encourage and support his desire to become a great baseball player.
And if he decides he wants to do something else, that’s fine too. I’ll support that too.

This should be a mandatory video for all parents to watch before the start of every year.

Our coach played very little MLB. He has a couple dad’s helping coach they played college ball. There’s a lot of politics in this. If you spend a lot of money on lessons your kid gets to play more and pitch more. If you’re super chummy with the coach your kid gets advantages. My son is an excellent ball player who loves baseball can tell you every player on every team. I let his game speak for itself. With this organization that’s just not enough. Needless to say we are looking for another team.

@@Thoughts_Count you sound like your dad goggles might be blinding you. Your son's knowledge of who is on each team is irrelevant to his play. Kids sometimes get screwed but it's a lot less than dad goggles.

My son told me a couple of years ago that he was done with baseball. I told him, “sounds good. What else do you want to try?”

How is it that if ALL the people in the major league this is nearly the ONLY person mindful enough of the game to be putting out this kind of content?!? Where HELL is the MLB, the owner’s, the players union, the All-Star players, the retired hall of fame guys - ANY of them? Oh, that’s right, collecting stacks.
