I got FTDI communication error while writing to master tune data. Now the car doesn't want to start. INPA cannot communicate with the ECU at all.

Is the FTDI and K-Line cable one in the same? Both links take me to the same cable. Great vids, thank you for your efforts!!

Fixed. I recommend the D-Can cable as you should not need to modify the cable with FT_Prog.

can it also be used for the m54b30 computer?

is the flash counter automatically disabled or do you do it yourself?

      Neither. MSS54Flasher can reset it.

@@rezenclowd3 yes i know , i meant on the differences in pinouts that is needed for the swap X60001 up to X60005 are nearly identical but i just want your input on it, are the changes only limited to X60004?

Interesting that you can do this and your not a programmer. Very cool

I grew up repairing/replacing computer hardware, using recording studio software/hardware, and as far as hex, modifying save games via hex editing and looking for changes from save to save and "bookmarking" that location or activating sofware without a license. I didn't find out most of this info though, that happened before I came onto the scene, but I did consolidate what we need for swaps, it was scattered over a couple thousand posts which I scoured. Then tested with my car.

@@rezenclowd3 thank you for sharing the final results of your time consuming hard work! Random question, but how difficult would it be to solder a chip onto a Mercedes ECU? I've never worked with hardware before

perspective depends on your skill for me easy, but I've practiced on dead hardware first decades ago, and I still do. Even with our hot air station and multiple solder tips, it can be hard. Most of my guys get frustrated as tutorials make it look easy.

@@rezenclowd3 interesting. I can't find anyone in my area that can do this. Can I ship you my ECU to solder and program for me? Maybe there is some way I can Facebook, Instagram, or email you info on it, so you can tell me if you can do it?
