This is how I have self taught to wrap holsters and other stuff. If you have any tips comment below. To have stuff wrapped or check out my products go to havokholsters.com
I use Sezzle a lot to buy knives. Kinda keeps the wife happy not seeing me spend $$ all at once. Happy wife happy life... So today I searched on their app for holsters and your company came up. I hadn't heard of you before so was here on you tube doing a search. Long story short.. Watching this video made me totally at ease with the kinda product I would get ordering from you. I'm ordering a Havock holster.
That’s awesome! I didn’t know you could search through sezzle for companies like that. Glad the video helped! We have a ton planned for the year so you can see more of Havok holsters
Have you or anyone ever wrapped a safariland patrol holster? I got a really good deal on a level 3 holster for my Sig M17,& wanted to wrap it like my other holsters. It may be a dumb question, but being a patrol holster it's got that basket weave look. Wasn't sure if it would be to hard due to all the small crevices. I could always paint it, but I really like the wrap.
I have not done one, I’ve only done the 6000 and 7000 series without the basket weave. I think if you took your time you could get all the texture to show through if that’s what you wanted.
@@havokholsters don't really care if it show's or not. Was thinking it may not stick so well. It should arrive tomorrow,& I can inspect it better. Either way it's not gonna hurt to try. Thanks for the reply.
@@Osprey1994 I wasn't patient enough to wait on the wrap to come in, so I ended up just taking a rattle can to it. It came out good like that in my opinion. Just ordered another one of those holsters though, so I will end up doing it. I'll let u know how it turns out when I do.
Have you ever worked with a basket weave holster? Im wanting to wrap mine ive seen it done and of course it leaves the texture visible when done but ive also heard of ppl sanding it off to create a smooth surface.
@@havokholsters I wrapped the one because I bought for cheap from a cop. Not perfect and the texture does appear but it did its job. Definitely harder than I thought it would be. Probably would have just rattle canned it if I were to do it again.
I have some of the precut ones for TLR-1HL and Holosun, the onky reason I'm worried is with the ones for the weapon light.. I feel like it'd mess up the smoothness inside kydex holsters
Awesome video. I have a couple of holsters that need to be wrapped. Would you be interested in providing that services? If yes, then I would be happy to pay your cost. Thank you.
Stumbled on your video, ordered the same barges cement, and it came out great with eBay codura on my homemade holsters!! Thank you for the info!!
Keep on doing more videos. Your holsters rock.
Just got the 365xl holster from you, thank you for accommodating these weird mods brother. Loving this thing
Thanks for doing this Ben!! Figuring out my WML options then I’ll be ordering from you. Keep the videos coming!
Great work Ben!

Two big 👍👍. I like the safety glasses after the fact. Birds of a feather 👍👍
I love my holster I got from you for my 92X with the Ulti clip best I have out of my collection
Great job! I’ll be trying that real soon! Thanks bro!
Good information. I will be using your technique
Hell yeah Ben! Can’t wait to watch you grow!
Cool stuff, and thank you for your service.
First vid? Well done.
Nice stuff, came out great! Best of luck with growing the brand, Sub'd.
Thanks for the holster man I'm very satisfied
those dewalt carbide blades are the best

@@hgarza1136 good luck!
@@hgarza1136 Update? I am pretty curious as to how it turned out.

Awesome video! Thanks for the advice.
thanks for the information and walk thru
Great work and valuable tutorial! Thanks a million. Is it difficult to remove a wrap later to change fabrics?
Depends on the glue, but for the most part its pretty easy
@@havokholsters great! Purchased the same glue as yours. Here we go👍
@@havokholsters How do you go about removing it if needed?
@@CarolinaFarming remove the cloth and then use a citrus goo remover
Great video
Nicely done.
Nice work mate not sure if I missed it but when did you use the 300lse sheet
I'm going to do a video that covers that, it's a different process than the glue.
I have a multican painted pattern holster, do I have to sand the paint before apply glue to it?
Thanks man!! Solid vid!
How’s the biz so far?
Badass!!! Thanks for your video!
Is there a specific place you buy that felt buffer wheel?
Great video!! Inspired

@@_JEBUS I have not wrapped a basket weave. Honestly the amount of time it would take to sand it I would just get a new holster.

This can be done with leather as well, correct?
Yep I’ve done it with leather too
Where do you get your fabrics?
Thanks man!
Do you make a mad max for a SIG AXG PRO, ROMEO PRO AND TLR1-HL?
Yep order based on slide length and your light and it will work with your setup.
3M spray adhesive is much easier to use and less messy.
It also sucks at adhesion and won’t last as long. I’ve used 77 and 90 3m and it just isn’t as good as barges

How well has that glue held up?
i have a buddy that i did a holster for 9 months ago with a penalton blanket on Kydex and its held up great.
cant imagine cordura rubbing against your gut to be comfy
Some people like it *shrugs* I don't see why it wouldn't be comfortable.
Do you still have Rhodesian brushstroke available? I didn’t see it as an option for purchase.
Do you use .08 kydex
Yes
What is that buffer tool called??
Its just a Dremel with a felt wheel on it
hello can i get a order status please?
Hello, I have zero clue who you are. If you could email me at Ben@havokholsters.com with your order number I would gladly help.
Great video
