Thank you and yes, it was rewarding doing it yourself. If you search around on my channel, there's one wiring video that combines all the smaller segments. It has everything from start to finish. Thanks again for checking it out. JD
Good Stuff Man! I appreciate your attention to detail. I am in the process of doing this very job on my 5! Thank you fro taking the time to video all this! Well Done!
Thank you Ron. Be sure to check out the video that has all the segments in one video. I'll put a link here for you! ua-cam.com/video/DK2XZFersrs/v-deo.html
John, You referenced the neutral safety switch on a manual transmission as not being hooked up to the transmission. I believe we are both using the AX-15 transmission so I don't need to connect this. Is this correct? I'm using a different harness (Kwik Wire) similar to the Painless but without plugs on the ends. Thanks Jim
Jim as far as I know the manual ax15 does not have a neutral safety switch. I hooked up some wires to my ax15 but those were for the reverse lights. No neutral safety switch. Hope this helps. JD
@@JDOffline Thanks John. I’m attempting the wiring harness. I’m trying to find a place indoors to work on this. Got no garage and it’s starting to get cold.😀
Hey JD. How many hours would you say you have into the wiring from removal of the old wiring to finally getting everything hooked up and working with the painless wiring kit?
Hey Michael. That’s a great question and a tough answer. I did the wiring in stages so this is really a rough guess but I would say somewhere in the neighborhood of 15-20 hours on the conservative side! You could probably do it quicker but I really took my time. Thanks for the question. JD.
Amazing!!! That had to be fulfilling when you got it done😎 super nice Jeep! Thanks for the video, it’s motivating 💪

@@JDOffline wow! that’s a lot less time than I thought. How long to take off the dash? I might rethink my decision and just bang this out.
👍my pray for you is that the light at the end of the tunnel isn’t from an on coming train.
Mike Hammer Yes sir I hope so to!! I can tell you this Mike I’ve made good progress since this video!! Firing her up real soon!!
Doesn't sound so painless to me.
Hey Wesley, it really wasn't that bad to be honest. Let us know if you take the plunge and get the kit. JD
