I'm currently messing about in skellige, playing the witcher 3 for the first time. Having not played any other witcher games, or read the books, i'm so amazed at how well the world is built, and i find myself wondering if this and that is in the books as well.

Even if he had played the game, it's very likely that he simply would have read the name Yennefer from his script and pronounced it as Jennefer without even thinking about it because that's how it'd be pronounced where he's from. I have a Swedish friend who very often mispronounces words like that even though he knows that it's incorrect.

i really loved witcher 1. But I had such a hard time getting into witcher 2. I just could not get into it. first world problem: over the spring I told myself I will finally finish witcher 2 and get witcher 3 when it's on sale on steam. Thinking I had maybe 1-2 arcs left in the game. I beat witcher 2 in an hour from where I left off all those years ago....... Yeah I was kinda mad at myself.
This is how a company should make games. This is the brain-child of CD Projekt Red and you can feel that they put a lot of passion, effort and most importantly time in the games they make. Their games are a work of art, not like other companies that release games with mostly just sales and profit in mind.

Not to mention Henry cavill being a Witcher fanatic having played all games and read all books. That's why he decided to play Geralt and he was great at it. Also for many people the time line was confusing as hell and that's the only huge downside to the shoe but once you understand it you will be left with an "OH YEAHHHHHHHH" expression. Yes it sucks. Timeline is a clusterfuck, adaptation of the short stories is horrible, and dont get me started on casting of some characters and forced diversity.

dude i love your video's! i binged them like for 2 days BUT in the books there is a major badass scene from ciri involving iceskating. i am currently reading all the books and i knew exactly what that was referring to at 12:00 min. and i would have loved that in the game! (maybe in the netflix :D) and let me just tell you when you fell in love with the world in witcher 3 it's amazing to pick up the books in it's "right" order aftert playing witcher 3! you'll bathe refrence's (at least to me since i only played witcher 3) and every couple of minutes while reading i went "ha i know that" and the humor in the german adaption is amazing. it's rare but sharp and to the point when it happens!

You should definitely watch walking dead if you're into that sort of thing. The story might confuse you if you jump right in to the most recent episodes but after 1 or 2 you should know more than enough to enjoy it.

At the very end of „Tower of The Swallow“, Ciri kills about ten of the people who chased her while ice skating, a skill she mastered as a child in Skellige. She even beat Hjalmar in ice skating, which turned them into great friends (and childhood sweethearts). The scene of Ciri fighting Witcher-style is absolutely badass.

This game has a very complex story, and I really appreciate it! Just the way the author thought about the world mechanism, timeline, events, characters and how he's able to balance them out is amazing. It's very difficult to balance a complex story with multiple dimentions and characters who posses different abilities all in the same basic mechanism

dude i love your video's! i binged them like for 2 days BUT in the books there is a major badass scene from ciri involving iceskating. i am currently reading all the books and i knew exactly what that was referring to at 12:00 min. and i would have loved that in the game! (maybe in the netflix :D) and let me just tell you when you fell in love with the world in witcher 3 it's amazing to pick up the books in it's "right" order aftert playing witcher 3! you'll bathe refrence's (at least to me since i only played witcher 3) and every couple of minutes while reading i went "ha i know that" and the humor in the german adaption is amazing. it's rare but sharp and to the point when it happens!

Just the way the author thought about the world mechanism, timeline, events, characters and how he's able to balance them out is amazing. It's very difficult to balance a complex story with multiple dimentions and characters who posses different abilities all in the same basic mechanism
