Gosh, but Wiig and Yang have totally nailed those 40's movie voices and rapid-fire dialog. Flipping the genders and doing a current song is just perfectly juxtaposed.
To be honest I feel like he's really underused. I think he's only in like one or two sketches per week. Maybe he needs to find some kinda breakout character or impression.

But another meaning for “off book” is having your lines memorized in a play/show so you don’t need to use the script (aka book) anymore. Hope that helps!

The elocution really makes this sketch. The way everyone carefully enunciates every word. "Sh! She's confronting him!" "This is the moment of truth!" etc. It's the slightly over-pronounced words that really give it that 1940s vibe.
This skit is also genius because it raises the question, "What if straight men had to sit through women and gay men's stuff the way the women and gay men have always had to with straight men?'
