She is one of those people to whom humor comes so naturally, you can just look at her and immediately start laughing. I miss seeing her regularly. That send off was a tear jerker
The amount of happiness and laughter that the two people in this room have caused for many years for the people and their viewers is unimaginable and superb.
I'm sure you meant joy, not happiness, which is not the same. Good entertainment can and does bring lots of joy and can even soothe or distract us...but happiness? No way.
I like all of them individually, but their actual era of SNL is mostly god awful. 90% of her, Forte, Bill, and Samberg's sketches were a character talking with a "wacky", annoying voice. The show got better almost instantaneously around season 39, when they were gone.
@@handsomejonny6211 I'm not sure why you would think that. Kate was brought in because they knew Kristen would be leaving. He has had some amazing conversations with his guests. I like that he gets personal and shares about himself too. But maybe that’s just me 🤷♀️
it depends. He often starts a bit while a guest is talking that detracts whatever they were trying to say. And interrupting conversations is annoying regardless if it's an interview or not
Her last show was the night before my college graduation and I (exhausted from a week of partying and needing to get up early the next day) elected to stay in and watch SNL that night and her send-off aired and man it hit me hard.
There has never been a more beautiful comedienne. She could've been a model as much as anything else. But, thank god, she used her mind to bring us the AMAZING comedy that she has. Great interview. Curious, do you ever invite up and coming comedians on your show? People not at snl just regular guys at regular mics who have to travel the country by themselves to do other regular mics with other regualr guys? If so would you be interested in taking a look?
Her sendoff was perfect and appropriate. But so many cast members don't get anything even remotely close to that. It must be a little awkward for the other ones.

It reminds me of the Jordan Peele episode, it wasn't as entertaining as I expected it to be; probably because he was serious which is the opposite energy of the K&P skits.
