Solutions :
Keep maximum distance
Ignore their blaming, never ever ask for that insidence.
Ask non related subject to them, while they starting blaming and gaslighting...
Never share your pain, weakness, success with them.
Don't discussed others mistakes with them...

Maam actually my mother in law had this problem. That's while my matrimonial life is going to a divorce. She tourchering me every day after very early stage my matrimonial. That's while I couldn't be a good wife. She always framed me a bad woman.

Ma'am, This is really informative.But i would like to point out something... Here some symptoms like.... missing to give a tea usually happens in every house. The husband/father says the same dialogue and in response mother/ wife says " ഇന്ന് ഒരു ദിവസം തന്നില്ല എന്ന് വെച്ച് തനിയെ ഇടുത്തു കുടിച്ചൂടെ ". This is a common dialogue i think... So there is possibility to misunderstand this as a trait of Narciscissm.

Hi Dr. Susan, I'm a victim of NPD but not exactly sure if my partner is gaslighting me or if she is a sociopath but all I know is she loves me but trying to mind control me. My name is slandered amongst my relatives thanks to her imaginative convictions. It took me 18 years of married life to understand what's happening. Is there any cure for this person ? Thanks in anticipation.
After knowing a few observation you made an assessment cannot be made. A detailed behaviour analysis is required to assess the issues and identify the disorder.

We all have these traits and how our nature and nurture blends decides how we develop these traits into different levels. When it become problematic to self and others we call it antisocial or problem behaviour.

Hi Anitha, It is like living in hell when you live with a paranoid schizophrenic person. You can live with him if he undergoes regular treatment and therapy without fail. If not it will be difficult.

But Mam I need to say, our Mothers generation was like so much sacrificing type& I got surprised to see a woman behaving si selfish& self-centred.that was my MIL.All the three were there_ the golden, scapegot &the forgotten!!. The youngest was very different from all the others & his Mother seems lke scared of the youngest.she never go for any confrontation with him. He understood her Character I think, he went abroad in his early 20s.which category that Child could be ,Mam.?
That child was the smart, sensible, supernova empath. Someone with positive narcissistic traits. He had self love, was sharp, able to apply logical empathy, able to recognise emotional drama, manipulation, had confidence and self-esteem.
