I remember travelling down to London on the train as a teenager in 97, I would spend the whole weekend listening to pirate radio as I walked around the city taking in the sights. This particular track was absolutely caned by every pirate station on the dial; I'd hear it being played every 10 minutes, and rightly so. 20 years on and this track still does the business. Great memories. Fantastic production.
agree. it's amazing how quality overs wins over quantity. some productions are so timeless they'll be classics in 400 years time. this is definitely one. it's good that the likes of Disclosure still find these gems in the catalogue and play them at their sets, otherwise unfortunately the mass music market would trample over them with its rubbish output
Nah I disagree Disclosure and many others are leading the way. Just because it's different doesn't mean it is bad. Otherwise you're just wearing Rose tinted glasses.
RIP Uk garage 1997-2001 we miss you, shout out to all who were teens in the late 90's, who remembers ealing boulevard, equinox leicester square, limelight shafstbury avenue...now we old but still young at heart, BOOOOOOOOOM SELECTAAAAAAAAAA!
When I’m dead and gone play this at my funeral I’ll be dancing right with ya. None of that soppy bollox Rave to the grave.. London garage till I die!! 💃
& that's what I liked about those times is that every tune Was different & nothing was the same at all. Everything was original & it can never be recreated again #Period, one of the best tunes I've ever heard. 👊🏾💯🎵🔥
Trying to sleep after 4 day bender and for some reason this just keeps playing in my head so I’m sitting here exhausted in the dark nodding my head lol :(
This tune used to be played in Sweden on Power Hit Radio, remembering they had it playing on summer in the amusement park at Liseberg,Gothenburg. I was a 13 year old skaterboy, a era and time when i wasn't a kid anymore, now at the age of 37 i just feel such a joy hearing this that takes me back to the time i was still such a young, single, and a couple of less pounds dude :)
First time I ever went record shopping at Pure Groove in Archway, on my lunch break from school, I picked up this, along side Roy Davis Jr, Double 99 Double Pack (RIP Records), Industry Standard Vol 1 and a few others.
I first heard this tune on a radio station called UK Obsession 89.6 in early 2009 in my parents' car at Hempstead Valley, it was played at pitch +6 I think. Such great vocals and such a catchy tune! There was also a version from 2009 on DJ Footloose's House M1X shows on BBC 1XTRA called 'Calibre Productions - Dreamweaver'. I really wish I could find it somewhere again!
Deep London garage, rolling bassline, sweet chords and vocal. The sound of London in 1996/1997. The rest was to follow...
djnickytlondon man this is what 2017 should bring this kind music back
@@scruffykidd1942 and 2019 🙌🙌🙌

Takes me back to being a child 8/9 years old. Jacking into pirate radio. 😭. Classic chune
Still a banging tune. This track got me into DJing.

The way EZ used to mix
Its funny how David Guetta, who is listed as writer, has progressed from this little gem to the EDM rubbish he does now.
I really don't understand how he could have changed his style so much. Almost like he's only in it for the money now.
I had no idea!
Seen him in ibiza really nothing special at all. Plus we could not see him due to his napoleon size lol
Where is Guetta listed as a writer? The vinyl is in the video and he's not listed, and I can't find anything online either.
@@rikatan It was definitely there before. Maybe it was listed by mistake before and now removed.
Used to play this in 97 at my party flat, tunes blasting out every weekend. Still an amazing tune. 🔥🔥

+Nickie1477 42 myself.... Pitiful how bad music is now, so glad I experienced House/Techno/Trance/Garage during the 90's
+Uno Honcho Same here. It's gone to pot now. I don't listen to anything current now, all old skool!
Nah I disagree Disclosure and many others are leading the way. Just because it's different doesn't mean it is bad. Otherwise you're just wearing Rose tinted glasses.
Leading the way with their Apple Mac and logic pro x.

Very good way to put it. Very good way to put it. The suits and loafers just topped it off !!
We had glamour 😂😂😂.
Just a bit rough around the edges 😂😂😂.
