When this tune dropped at Uk raves in 1992-1993 you just looked at the person next to you and smiled like you have never smiled before. Pure XTC! Great days!! ONE LOVE!!!
Have to say this is a very special record for me and the wife. In January 1993 I was working in Stafford, plastering. Upstairs was a small recording studio playing this song. I managed to get a fresh copy of this on vinyl, with the Chill label and cover, no printing, just plain. I gave it to the wife as a gift. We loved it, danced to it many times in nightclubs. Today 2021 it still sits in our lounge. Unfortunately we don't have a record player. The saying "I need your loving" we said to eachother for years " Were still going strong, old time ravers. What a fantastic tune. Enjoy your youth. Old age is cruel.

Totally different generation also back then, with things like acid, more hippie like back then!!. I definitely don't think we cared so much about how we looked either. Who'd have thought a few decades on things could change so much!!
Imagine being in a rave with this, its late, everyone around you is intoxicated and gone beyond compare, everyone just having a good time dancing into the late hours. The intense feeling of euphoria, wicked feeling.
I went across a ditch at 40 miles an hour(slow) with 8 lads going to a nightclub listening to this. All roaring. Missed the Tree. Couldn’t get our way out of the meadow. Tune kept playing. Life in slow motion. Lol😊😊😊😊

I gathered yesterday all my vinyl record collection.. So much music from 95 to 2004 all one place...The filling was the same then: everyday we felt that something great is going to happen ...everyday....maybe it was the age ...may be the Pheromones maybe testosterone maybe the best years we left behind and reminisce ...all i know is that we are all travellers and music is our sanctuary...
Slow sentimental piano, beautiful female voice and word's. Last minute location for address to an illegal rave. All atendee's on a high of life and sound. Beautiful memories...now 57 in a bloody mobility scooter....but this track still today is as fresh today as the day's/daze I first heard it. Total classic. Those who know.... will know.
Zürich Switzerland 1992, 6:30 am walking to the train station with my buddies, soooooooo in good mood and happiness , sun is coming out and this song is playing....that's when I knew : this world will never be the same for me......
I can remember (just) going to a rave in 92 at the roller express in lea valley trading estate , they had the doors open due to the heat! The sun was coming up amd every one was going hard! Christ i want to go back! Fuck 2016 its pants. I neeeed you loving ........ one dove and a microdot!!! Oi oi
I'm 39, will be 40.next year. I was just slightly too young to attend the rave scene. But luckily I have two older brothers who did. Many a night playing Nintendo NES in the early 90s while my two older brothers would play their tape packs and educating me. I now live in Australia and I have two beautiful little girls aged 2+4. Every night when I bath them ,we have a rave. I don't think there's many wee girls out there asking to hear Micky Finn when they're getting bathed. Lol
This song reminds me of being a small child in the 90s. My mom would do aerobics in the living room and I remember this song playing on the cassette, I'd run around just dancing and having a good time with no other care in the world haha good time
Had this one on my walkman on my way to school many times... sitting in the metro from Spijkenisse to Rotterdam and getting my first job then. Glad i too have been there in these years!! We waren erbij mensen!!! Geschiedenis ;) Groeten uit Hellevoetsluis

Haha. There's a chemical burn smell that you can't quite put your finger on. It's not a horrible smell. But it was always there, when you were on the edges of the dancefloor near the bar. Every rave hall had it! That smell comes back to me now with this song, some 25 years later!!

Absolutely. In 92, I said concrete jungle is the music of our grandkids future 😂❤.
This is '92 Hardcore. Jungle was 93 onwards.
Banging track!! Big up the old school doves, micro dots 🙌💛 One love
indeed....
SaBrig OMy goodness This just played NOW (**,)" Tunes to move$ dance to mantha Chandler
Brigid O'Neill Lol my ex used to call me mantha!
Samantha Chandler rhubarbs ,new yorkers and dennis the menaces 👌😃 ✌😅 👏👍😁
Tobin Harrison lol😄 yup I remember rhubarbs!! Acid, strawberries, blotters, pyramids etc great day's!!
Check out our tunes, you may just like them!
Raving was not until late it was until the morning. 🤭Simply fantastic!

I had the pleasure of seeing NRG live in Dallas!
I went across a ditch at 40 miles an hour(slow) with 8 lads going to a nightclub listening to this. All roaring. Missed the Tree. Couldn’t get our way out of the meadow. Tune kept playing. Life in slow motion. Lol😊😊😊😊

Reminds me of great nights out and first love. What a track. Take me back to those days. Life was so much simpler and the music was soooo much better
100%
I gathered yesterday all my vinyl record collection..
So much music from 95 to 2004 all one place...The filling was the same then:
everyday we felt that something great is going to happen ...everyday....maybe it was the age ...may be the Pheromones maybe testosterone maybe the best years we left behind and reminisce ...all i know is that we are all travellers and music is our sanctuary...
The crackling of the vinyl, you just can’t get any better. WHAT A TUNE
47 here and love the tune 🎶 ❤

But you’re not far off brother
We are a special privileged breed
Brings back good memories

I can't sleep at night thinking about you x
Slow sentimental piano, beautiful female voice and word's. Last minute location for address to an illegal rave. All atendee's on a high of life and sound. Beautiful memories...now 57 in a bloody mobility scooter....but this track still today is as fresh today as the day's/daze I first heard it. Total classic. Those who know.... will know.
M8 no mobility scooter but I need your loving like the recharger.
2022 the world gone to sh1t but came here for the nostalgia of the good days.. anyone else?
Rave dayz back then is what sustains me today... This is a booster shot of bliss!

nope, if you mean pepper pots as in alloy wheels, The Fiesta XR2 had "pepperpots" the RS Turbo had 15" dog leg alloys, mine were polished ;0)
also xr3i standard alloys were pepperpots albeit 4 holed ones. Horrible. the RS had 7 spoke alloys.....

High school for me.. One of the few tracks that could stand steady next to Prodigy's tracks
Zürich Switzerland 1992, 6:30 am walking to the train station with my buddies, soooooooo in good mood and happiness , sun is coming out and this song is playing....that's when I knew : this world will never be the same for me......
THAT FEEL.
Oi oi
I went there a few times, yep they were great times. I wish we could have it like that again even if just for one weekend.
Imagine 2020....fuck
I'm 39, will be 40.next year. I was just slightly too young to attend the rave scene. But luckily I have two older brothers who did. Many a night playing Nintendo NES in the early 90s while my two older brothers would play their tape packs and educating me. I now live in Australia and I have two beautiful little girls aged 2+4. Every night when I bath them ,we have a rave. I don't think there's many wee girls out there asking to hear Micky Finn when they're getting bathed. Lol
OH MY DAYS I GOT GOOSEBUMPS HEARING THIS TUNE AGAIN
corey from
luton
Only God knows how much i miss the 90s when Life and Music made sense. One Love Michalela 'Mia'
You don't have to miss them any more as we are still making old skool inspired tunes
Take me back to '92. Me, Phil, Melanie, Becky & all the gang. Miss you all.
Geschiedenis ;) Groeten uit Hellevoetsluis

so glad my youth was spent listening to this. feel sorry for today's generation. All they have is Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber and your never gonna get a rush listening to that....
+Richard murden its my favorite song since I was a child before 18 years from today... and I especially Fan of A-HA, ENIGMA, BAD BOYS BLUE, MODERN TALKING AND MADONNA ...& I Agreed with you... (Y) :)
Naaah ..there are teenagers today (included me) who are listening to this kind of music...today`s mainstream music sucks!I wish I was born two decades ago at least...Peace and love!
yup..! You are absolutely right brother. On that time there was just peace, respect and love among humanity as compare to these days....!! I Wish too...!! :)
+Nick Grm Thanks for reply, its good to hear that the younger gen are listening to this era of music, 88-92 was an awesome period. Keep it up brothers and sisters.
I remember this tune at bagleys back in the 90s,off my head on Microsoft, only needed 1 pill back then, better music, better drugs, better scene,no trouble, what a time!!!!!
The Jimmy Hills were amazing too! Rave never dies
When I listen to this I get the sites and smells all come back to me from the era it came from.......... It's touching ....
Haha. There's a chemical burn smell that you can't quite put your finger on. It's not a horrible smell. But it was always there, when you were on the edges of the dancefloor near the bar. Every rave hall had it! That smell comes back to me now
with this song, some 25 years later!!
+Gingerman haha
+Gingerman Yeah! Wtf was that??
You.rigth this smell alwais put me on thé crazy mood
